Review: Her Twisted Pleasures by Amelia James

Two best friends. One girlfriend—a good and dirty slut. A scheme and a plan later. One left in the dark, unknowing. Love. Lust. Need. Who’s in control?
Talia has always been a strong, confident, and sexual woman. She can’t be satisfied with one person long enough to stay in a steady relationship. Variety is the spice of life! But she’s never cheated on anyone. If she wants to explore someone else, she breaks off her current relationship. Simple as that.
Will is the trustworthy, vice cop. He’s been hurt before and protects himself from getting hurt again. Will is gentle, sweet, and loyal. He’ll go to any lengths to ensure his love is satisfied.
Adam is the bad boy, lawyer. He doesn’t follow any rules. With his dominating nature, Adam gets what he wants, when he wants it.
Completely opposite, but each man has something Talia needs. For her twisted pleasures, why can’t she have them both?
What this book lacks in a strong character development and compelling storyline, it more than makes up for in erotic scenes. Her Twisted Pleasures is a short story that focuses more on the sex scenes than on building a connection between the characters, their stories, and the reader. Don’t get me wrong; I recommend this quick read if you’re looking for steamy, hot entertainment to warm you through the night.
Author Amelia James says herself that she enjoys writing trashy stories, and she’s not hoping to win the Pulitzer Prize. Her Twisted Pleasures is a book full of sexual appetite, and I am interested just enough to see where the characters and storyline follow in the sequel.

I liked this one. It is definitely HOT! I had some issues with it as well, but overall, a good read.

Thanks for the review! I usually like a little more character development in my books
