Giveaway & Review with Charles Sheehan-Miles

Alex Thompson is a Pre-Law student at Columbia University who is still trying to mend the broken heart the love of her life gave her six months prior. She doesn’t understand why he completely cut off all communication with her without an explanation. Maybe everyone is right, maybe its finally time for her to move on and forget about Dylan. Alex is also dealing with a family friend who attempted to rape her and keeps getting in her face.

Dylan Paris is attempting to rebuild his life after being seriously injured while in Afghanistan, trying to rebuild his leg that he almost lost, trying to rebuild his education by attending Columbia University, and trying to rebuild the heart that Alex broke. On top of all of that he is also trying to control his symptoms of PTSD, that he knows will be with him likely for the rest of his life.

What neither Alex nor Dylan ever expected was to be working on the same work study project together. After a rough start for them, they slowly begin to become friends despite the past that is pulling them together, but can they fall in love all over again?

First I want to say thank you to the author of this book for showing the true nature of war and what sadly has become the outcome more often then not of our troops when they return home from war. I am a military wife, my husband has been to Iraq twice, and while he talks a little about it to me, I know the things he has done and has seen has changed him forever. Luckily he has come home uninjured physically so my prayers have always been answered, but living this life you see the outcomes of those who came home hurt or those who didn’t make it home at all. He does however suffer mildly from PTSD.

Ok, now on to the review. I loved this story. I love how neither ever stopped loving the other person even with all the bullshit they have gone through. Alex wanted Dylan no matter what and was willing to help him out in any way, whether it was being a running partner, someone to talk to or just being there. Dylan, poor Dylan, he was bitter, angry and struggling because he not only had his leg injury in a way holding him back, he also had the effect he suffered from the brain injury. He didn’t give up. I did laugh when I read about him and what he did to his laptop when him and Alex broke up, but then I cried because of what happened afterwards. When the air between them was finally cleared and the truth about the night they broke up came out I was so happy, because they deserve to be happy and together after all they have suffered through. Alex needed a hero, and Dylan was that hero, not only a war hero, but he protected her when she needed it the most.

Dylan needed to accept aspects of his past with his family and from when he was at war before he in a way could begin to heal. He kept pushing Alex away and until she finally stood up and said enough is enough. Once that happened he knew what he had to fight for… he had to fight for Alex.

I shed more than a few tears while reading this book, but it is not a make you cry the entire time type of book, it is this is a reality of war veterans and those they love type of book. I regret putting off reading this book as long as I did because it is a very good book, one that gives hope and one that is eye opening at the same time.

Review: Devoured by Emily Snow

Devoured is Emily Snow's debut novel and a fab debut for an indie author I must say.

Sienna's grandmother has been the number one person in her life growing up. When she receives a call from home, Sienna drops everything to travel back to help her grandmother. Just about everything in her grandmothers life has been tarnished some way or another by her mother, who Sienna holds a thick grudge against. Now her grandmothers house is being foreclosed on by the man who so ruthlessly told her to get out of his life.

Lucas is a hot rock star with a secretive background and dominate traits. When he see's something he wants, he goes after it. Two years ago, he and Sienna were together, but when Sienna decided against something he wanted, he turned her away immediately. But Sienna is the one girl who he hasn't been able to let go of, so he sets a plan into motion backing Sienna up against a wall. So much is at stake now, including Sienna's heart. She wants Lucas something fierce but giving into him means surrendering to him, something she fights tooth and nail at.

I really liked the hero Lucas! He is an smoking hot alpha with attitude, though he could use a little more arrogance in my opinion, but that's because I like jerky men in my books. :) He has a dark and mysterious past that isn't touched on all that much and I think that's what makes him so alluring. Sienna's had somewhat of a difficult childhood which I could relate to, so I understand her attitude and her views towards the people in her life. Her grudges held against members of her family are realistic and I felt so sad for her. I hated how she had so much to deal with. Sienna's mother and brother are pretty selfish. I'd love to slap Sienna's mother upside her head!

The only thing that I think could use strength is the character development. Little bits and pieces were revealed and it was just enough to lure me in....and leave me with questions and make me want more...NOW! So, I guess that's not a bad thing. :)

Overall, Devoured is an emotional hot and steamy read. I'm so glad to have found another indie author to love and who writes what they want without holding anything back. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Devoured Book Tour & Giveaway!

Emily, welcome to My Secret Romance! Thank you so much for being here! Can you tell us a little about yourself? Something most wouldn't know about you?
Thanks so much for having me, Taryn! I’m a girl from a really, really small town who spends way too much money on Kindle books and iTunes. I’ve got kids (who love to read—winning!)and a husband (who listens to me rant about my characters). I have really supportive parents (who just found out I write romance a month ago) and I’ve been BFFs with the same girl for 24 years. Something most people don’t know about me? I was a bit of a Titanic freak when the movie came out. I watched it so many times that I still know every line of dialogue, and I haven’t watched the movie in at least ten years. Okay . . . I guess that makes me more than just a “bit of a Titanic freak” huh?

I really liked Lucas and how we didn't get too much of his background- It kept me wanting more. He's what I look for in a hero, though I wish he was more of a jerk. Hey, I like my heroes mean! lol Where did you get your inspiration for Lucas?
I’m so glad you liked Lucas! Don’t worry—his background will be laid out in Consumed and just between us, it’s not very pretty. LTo be honest (and please don’t tell him this) I got a lot of my inspiration for Lucas from my husband. I married a total smartass, but luckily for him, I’m just as sarcastic as he is.

Describe Sienna to us. What's her personality like?
Sienna is very sweet.Like I mentioned before, I’m a bit of a smartass—okay, a HUGE smartass—so writing really sweet characters is always fun. Sienna’s got this very giving personality, and she’ll do just about anything for her family, including risking her job and sacrificing her happiness.

When writing a book, do you have an outline you follow or do you just let the pen take you away? What if the outline you planned goes in a different direction? Do you follow it or keep to your plan?
I always, ALWAYS, writea detailed outline for my books and it always goes very badly. I write these long-ass outlines and very rarely do I follow them. I keep saying that I’m done with outlining and yet I have quite a few saved to my computer at the moment!

At the end of DEVOURED, there were some unanswered questions. Do you plan onrevealing them in your next book?
Yes! There’s one more book in Lucas and Sienna’s story and everything will be revealed in that book.Lucas has a lot of issues and he’s so guarded, so I can’t wait for readers to see him totally stripped down.

How many books are you planning for in the DEVOURED series? Do you have a set release date and could you give us a sneak peek of it?
There’s at least one novel (CONSUMED, January 2013) and one novella (ALL OVER YOU, November 2012)but right now I’m not sure if there are any more books. Kylie—who’s one of my favorite characters—has been bugging me to write her story, so that’s probably going to happen at some point next year. Trust me, she’s got a lot to say!
I just posted a sneakpeak of All Over You on my Facebook page the other day, which can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Emily-Snow/363370467075260.I can’t give away a sneak peak of Consumed quite yet, but there might be something on my blog around Christmas time when the cover is revealed.*Whistles innocently*

What are you currently working on at the moment? Can you tell us about it?
I’m working on a new adult novel called TIDAL that I’ve fallen head over heels in love with. It’s about an actress who’s fresh out of rehab and the surf instructor who’s been hired to train her for her newest role. I’ve laughed and cried while writing this one and my husband must think I’m insane whenever he sees me working onit!

What can we expect from you in 2013?
Quite a few morebooks! There’s Consumed coming out in January and I’ve got another new adult I'm planning to release in March or April and I’ve also written a paranormalbook . . . I spend a lot of time glued to Word, can you tell? ;)

What's your favorite quote?
“I would always rather be happy than dignified” –From JaneEyre

Do you have a guilty pleasure? Care to share it with us? ;)
Pole dancing. ;) I got into it a few years back after seeing a Studio Veena YouTube video and bought myself an X-Pole. It’s kick ass exercise, and seriously, so freakin’HOT!

Describe DEVOURED Twitter style- 160 characters or less.
Rock star convinces woman who turned him down 2 years before to work for him after he buys her grandma's house in a foreclosure sale. There’s sexy time.

Thank you so much for letting me visit your blog, Taryn! You ROCK so hard for doing all this for me.<3

Every Which Way Blog Tour & Giveaway!

Every Which Way is a light yet emotional debut novel from Independent author Calia Read. I truly enjoyed this book!

Severine is the All-American girl next door. She’s strong willed, feisty, and quick witted. She’s on a steady track in college when she’s faced with a slight dilemma. She meets two guys: One she secretly wants, that she knows is wrong for her and could possibly break her heart. The other is the safe route, the kind of guy that she needs in her life who wouldn’t hurt her.

The problem? They’re brothers, and they despise each other.

You know how that makes me feel

When Severine meets both brothers, there is a connection with each, but on different levels. One brother is genuinely drawn to Severine’s beauty and brains, but he’s on guard when she shows interest in him. Most of the women go for his brother so he was standoffish and pushed her away as much as possible. But when Severine’s unwavering personality doesn’t back down, he goes for her. There’s a gentle kind of love with him that makes being with him easy.

The chemistry with the other brother is thick right from the start. They’re so right for each other in so many wrong ways. Severine knows his kind and steers clear as much as possible. He’s an egotistical cocky athlete, yet in some strange way he’s caring and has the utmost concern for her in mind, so he backs off. The heat between them is crackling and they turn to each other for support during a difficult time in their lives. But how much longer can these underlying feeling between them stay submitted? They’re both ticking time bombs waiting to go off.

Oh where do I start! I liked so much about this book, but the last 30% or so really did me in emotionally. It was when the tension was kicked up about 50 notches- it made me want to scream and cry happy tears, naturally. Normally I’m yelling at the male for screwing up, but this time I was yelling at Severine. Well, I yelled at the male too and called him every name in the book, but I wanted to bitch slap Severine at one point. She was messing everything up! I see why she was on reserve and worried how others would perceive her, but just let it go woman! Just let it go and be with him already! He wants you, you want him. Go make babies! Or go practice making them! It was so exasperating!

Severine’s character is not the usual kind of female I go for. I found myself put off at first because of her unshakable personality. But the more I read, the more I liked her and saw what a steady woman she was. She’s like a hard-boiled egg with the shell intact. She’s solid on the outside and soft-yet still firm-on the inside. Stupid analogy, I know, but it’s the only thing I could come up with. It came to the point where I was wishing I was as strong as her.

Macsen and Thayer are brothers who don’t get along for reasons them stem from childhood. It made me sad to read what they went through and why they were so at odds with each other. They live together but hardly communicate so there’s a great deal of tension between them. I liked both of them, but one of them I loved more. Can you guess which? :) Actually, the more I think about it, the more I liked the other brother. He was a real jerk towards the end. I totally took pleasure in the friction between and when they were on the pages together. LOVED IT!

The romance scenes were a little light in my opinion and I expected a bit more, but it was still enough to satisfy me. I know there will be a second book and I'm really looking forward to, especially with the way this one ended. Sooo much that could happen! I'm so glad I finally had the chance to read this book. I had been eying it since I saw it popped up on my radar and all of my expectations were met- except for the small amount of romance scenes.

Review: Rock the Heart by Michelle Valentine

"This next song goes out to the girl who shredded my heart without hesitation back in high school. It's called Ball Busting Bitch, and Lanie, this ones for you."

Those two lines are what sold me. I was madly in love after that.

Rock the Heart totally rocked MY heart.

Cheesy, I know. But for real, I lurrrrvvvved this book! A few chapters in, I found out this was a rekindled/reunited love theme and you know how I feel about that.

After Lanie and Noel separated, it hasn't been easy on either of them. They've both moved on as much as they could but there's a feeling inside them that won't go away. It wasn't an easy break-up by any means. They were their first love, first everything, but when they split they took a piece of each others' hearts. Now It's been four years and Lanie doesn't want to mix business with pleasure. But how long can she could only hold out against Noel's soulful voice and his trained fingers?

Noel is perplexed when he spots Lanie during one of his concerts. He's never gotten over how she left him that night long ago. She didn't have any faith in him then when he told her about his dreams, but here she is. Noel is bitter when it comes to her, yet he cannot fight his attraction one bit and he makes it very clear what his motives are towards Lanie.

Lanie desperately wants to prove she has what it takes to work it in the Marketing field at her new internship. It's her dream job, where her heart is at. She'll take any job her boss offers her, that is, until they tell her she's going to be touring with the band Black Falcon. No way does she want to do this. It's way too personal for her but she wants this job, so she'll do what she needs to. Now that she's in such close proximity with Noel, she finds herself in predicaments she says she doesn't want to be in, but her body screams otherwise.

Things seem to be going as smooth as they can, but a bomb is dropped on Lanie and she wants out. To make matters worse, Lanie finds herself in a bind- she is legally bound to Noel by contract by her employer and by Black Falcon. Now she's stuck with sexy Noel everywhere she looks when she can't stand to look at him after what he did.

A declaration of my love for this book and author is needed right now.

I do.
I really do.

I don't even know where I begin! Rock the Heart surprised me, yet I had a feeling it was one of those books I just knew I was going to like. I was hooked pretty early on with the easy flow of writing and the fun banter between the characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from the beginning until the last page, where I didn't wanted it to end! The way Noel and Lanie found their way back to each other and the obstacles they were faced with was enough for me, but the side stories with all the band mates and friends made it that much better!

Noel was never able to let go of Lanie, and he made it very clear early on. I loved that. He wasn't afraid to be in her face with his feelings. Though at first, I thought it was all an act. I thought he was just being spiteful because she hurt him all those years ago. Oh, but did he tease her and lead her on....it was hot!

I loved that! Noel's feelings are genuine, but he isn't just about the band. He has problems with his father and his best band mate, Riff. I felt so bad to see Noel struggle in those relationships.

Being on tour was a difficult challenge for Lanie. Noel was the guy that got away but she couldn't allow herself to cave into him. Their chemistry was hot from the start! Gahhh!!! I loved this book!

I had so much fun getting to know the band members of Black Falcon. Each one of the brought something different and fun to the table with their personalities. The twins are a very charismatic duo, easy and fun to be around. Riff...that man thought he was God's gift to woman! Ugh! He drove me nuts in the beginning. But as the story progressed, I saw a different side of him and I realized it was all a facade. I reallllly liked him and I hope the author does a story for him.

To Emily Snow-
Don't worry, as much as I came to love Riff, Noel is the one for me. :)

Giveaway with Rock the Heart Blog Tour!

Hey Noel and Lanie, welcome to My Secret Romance! I'm so excited to have you here after reading your story and loving it! Michelle has decided to allow me to interview both of you! How sweet of her. So, what you can tell me about each other that we wouldn't know?
Noel: *Looks at Lane and waggles his eyebrows*
Lane: Don’t you dare tell them anything private.
Noel: *Laughs* I think they pretty much know every intimate detail about us. They’ve practically already seen our sex tape.
Lane: *Shakes head*
Noel: *Pats Lane’s leg* Relax, babe. I was only going to tell them that I love you now more than ever.
Lane: *Smiles and places her hand on top of Noel’s*

Why should people read Rock the Heart? Give it to me Twitter style- 160 characters or less.

Noel: *Grins* I can be shorter than that. Lane’s hot naked.
Lane: *Elbows Noel in ribs* It’s a sweet love story.

Noel, can you give us a dirty secret about your band mates? Please! I won't tell them.

Noel: Tyke and Trip don’t share very well. They fight over things as small as the last slice of pizza to who called dibs on what chick first. They are ridiculous at times.

Tell us about your tattoos, Noel. Any personal ones?
Noel: The one on my back, the cross, is for faith. I believe you have to have it in all aspects of the unknown. The star on my shoulder I got when I signed my first record deal. It was my lame attempt to remind me someday I’d be a star and prove everybody wrong about me. Those are the two that mean the most to me. As far as personal ones…I plan on getting a very personal one soon.
Lanie, what you do think of when you see Noel without a shirt covered in tats?
Lane: I think he looks pretty amazing.
Noel: *Smiles* She loves me for my abs.

Ever have the urge to take your tongue and trace them?
Lane: *Rubs her neck and looks at Noel. A slight blush on her cheeks* I can’t answer that.
Noel: Why not? It’s a simple question.
Lane: One you want to know the answer too, no doubt.
Noel: Hell yeah, I want to know. If you ever feel the urge to lick anything on my body, you know I WILL make that happen for you.
Lane: *Bites lip* Yeah, Taryn. I do get that sometimes.
Noel: *Readjusts in his seat* Damn! How much longer do we have to be here?

Noel, do you ever plan on reconciling with your father? I would think with Lanie's father gone that it would make more of an impact on your relationship with him. Or is it that far gone that you can't ever see it being cordial again?
Noel: *Shrugs* I’m not making the first move there. He needs to come to me. Sounds cold, I know, but I’m not giving in on that.
Lane: *Pats Noel’s hand* He’ll come around one day.

Noel, if Lanie came with a warning label, what would it say? Lanie, what about Noel?

Noel: Caution: Hot *winks at Lane*
Lane: *giggles* You’re an idiot. Um, I would say for Noel, Warning: Volatile Contents.
Noel: *Raises an eyebrow* Volatile contents? What’s that suppose to mean?
Lane: How quickly are you always ready to fight?
Noel: *Relaxes in chair a little* Touché.

Lanie, is it rough with Noel being on the road so much with his band and the herds of women going after him?
Lane: I haven’t really had to deal with that yet. I’m still on the bus with him at the moment. I’m sure it’ll be tough, but we’ll make it.
Noel: Who says you have to leave?
Lane: Don’t start that again.
Noel: Okay, okay. You’re right.

Noel, what is it about Lanie that turns you on? Why Lanie? I know while reading Rock the Heart, Lanie just could not fathom how you could want someone like her. Tell us what you see in her.
Noel: Have you seen this girl? She seriously hot. She’s funny, and she can kick a little ass, which is so damn sexy.
Lane: That’s why you liked me?
Noel: *Nods* It all started with that fight over the Barbie in third grade. You weren’t afraid to stand up for yourself. I couldn’t help but be drawn to you.

Lighting Speed Section!
Soft and sensual or up against the wall?
Lane: Both with Noel are amazing. I can’t pick just one way.
Noel: Aw, babe. That’s what I was going to say. You totally stole my line.
Beach or Snow?
Noel: Beach
Lane: Beach. Cold weather sucks.
Noel: Ditto that!
Mixed drink or Wine?
Noel: Neither. I drink Beer. Mixed drinks make me puke like a mother.
Lane: I like mixed drinks, but beer is great too.

A remote cabin or a swanky suite?
Noel: A cabin
Lane: Really?
Noel: Absolutely, as long as it has a dock. I’m rather fond of those.
Lane: *smiles* Me too.
Books or Movies?
Noel: Movies. I have no patience to spend hours on a story.
Lane: *Rolls eyes* How unromantic of you. Books.
Favorite quote?
Noel: “Graze on my lips; and if those hills be dry, stray lower, where the pleasant fountains lie. “—William Shakespeare
Lane: That’s deep. I didn’t know you took Shakespeare so seriously.
Noel: It was dirty. I was happy to be allowed to talk about sex in class and not get in trouble over it.

Favorite book?
Lane: Twilight
Noel: Are you fucking kidding me? You like those sparkling ass vampires?
Lane: Edward is sexy.
Noel: *Quirks eyebrow* I thought you said I was the sexiest man you’d ever seen.
Lane: You are the sexiest real man I’ve ever seen. Edward Cullen is a fictional character. Girls love to dream about hot, fictional men.
Noel: *Lips pull into a sexy grin* I’m ready to get you out of here and remind you just how hot real men are. You’ll say “Edward who” when I’m done with you.

Thanks so much for being here today guys!

Review: Leave Me Breathless by Cherrie

 ★★★★★Five Freaking GLORIOUS stars! ★★★★★

My gorgeous impersonation of Seth (Ghost):

Wow. Just… Wow.

Seriously, this book blew me away. I initially had reservations going into this story because I didn’t think it would be able to measure up to Rock Me… And I sure as heck didn’t think there was a hero out there that would give Brian a run for his money- But sure enough, Leaving Me Breathless rocked my world.

All I can say is, Macy is one heck of a lucky woman- Ghost was utter perfection and bad to the freaking bone. Tie that in with a shaved head… A body covered in tattoos… And piercings in all the right places, and there you have it: My new current book boyfriend. He’s Brian’s best friend; A foul-mouthed tattoo artist with a crude sense of humor and is deemed socially unacceptable in the eyes of most- Especially Macy… Or so she thought. The thing I loved most about Ghost was his vulnerability. His life had been a series of heart-breakingly bad events for as long as he could remember- He had been through hell and back, especially when it came to relationships. But despite all unfortunate circumstances he had been through in his life, he made the most of it all while keeping his loyalty intact. He was an honest man through and through and his devotion to his best friend Brian and Macy really proved that.

"…I want you to know Macy, no matter what happens, I’ll never forget this. I’ve got your back for anything you ever need me for. Ever. No questions asked.”

(Be right back... Dying.)

Macy was first introduced in Rock Me as Candace’s best friend… The snob we all loved to hate- But in Leave Me Breathless, we were really able to grasp an understanding for all of her hang-ups. On the outside, she had always appeared to be uptight and stuck-up- But the more we got to know her, the more we’re able to see that there’s so much more underneath that hard exterior.

Macy and Ghost both came with some baggage- And we all know that where there’s baggage, there’s also DRAMA, doubts, issues, and insecurities. Both characters had a lot to work through, and I was consistently on pins and needles hoping that these two would find a way into each other’s hearts for good. For Ghost, it was hard to let someone else in… He didn’t want to risk the chance on letting Macy get into his heart because that would mean giving her the kind of power over him that could destroy him- And he knew better than anyone that every time he allowed that to happen, everything had gone down-hill.

Cherrie Lynn really has a way of making her readers feel each and every emotion that her characters were going through. The insecurities… The doubt… The lust… Everything about this book just felt so real. As being one of the BIGGEST Rock Me fans out there, surpass it to say that this book couldn’t have been a better fit for it's predecessor, and was most definitely one that will leave you breathless.

PS: Although this book can be read as a stand-alone, I would highly recommend that you read Rock Me first- Not because you’d be lost starting with this one… But because you’d be missing out on another great read that really helps you to get a better feel and have a stronger connection for both Ghost and Macy, as well as the rest of the gang in this series.

Cristal Ryder's Playing Through

Get a grip, Lexie. He’s a student.
She bit her lower lip and tried not to let her thoughts go to the erotic, but she feared it was way too late for that. Another quick glance at him, and damn if he wasn’t looking at her. He laid his arm along the back of their seats. Under her pale peach golf shirt, the flesh between her shoulders rippled, anticipating his touch. Would he run his fingers down her spine or up to her neck and into her hair? She felt the presence of his hand at her back as clearly as if he touched her. She willed him to and was disappointed when he didn’t.
The sun went behind a cloud, and she glanced up. Doppler had shown a chance of rain or thunderstorms. Wouldn’t that be great—a crashing storm during the lesson would really screw things up.
“It’s beautiful out here, isn’t it?” His words startled her, but oh how she loved to hear him speak.
Keep talking, cowboy. “Yes, it is.”
“Have you been west before?”
The magic of his voice cast some kind of sexual spell over her until she could barely think straight, let alone form cohesive words. “Ah, no.” Lexie concentrated on her driving and her words, which seemed to vanish on her tongue. “First time.”
“What brought you out here?”
“Fluke, really. They offered me a position and I was ready for a change.”
“Lucky me.”
She glanced at him to see if he was teasing and nearly swallowed her tongue. His dark gaze bored into her. Her intuition screamed he would be receptive if she just said the word.
Word.

Cassandra Carr's Service Ace

Cal and Adriana enjoyed a fun dinner, their flirting progressing as the meal went on. She needed to make her move, especially since Cal seemed to share her interest. He paid for the meal and they left. Once at the car, he handed her in and then got in the other side. Now or never. She reached over the center console and palmed his cock.
“Shite!” He looked over, his eyes wide.
“Look, I’m not normally this forward, but I want you.” Unable to hide a small smile as his cock swelled in her hand, she looked away. “Well, for more than your tennis expertise.”
“Are you sure?”
“Do you often have women who don’t want you for sex stroking your dick?”
“I don’t often have women stroking my dick for any reason.”
She faced him. “Really?”
“Really.” He swallowed.
“I guess it’s both of our lucky days then.”

Cindy Carr's Up to the Hilt

Finally, a man who could be no other than Sebastian Como, dressed in a black velvet warm-up suit, strolled out the door. “Holy shit,” she whispered. He was gorgeous. Sex on a spoon. About six-three with dark, curly hair, brilliant green eyes, and a killer smile. Plus, he appeared to be in his mid-twenties. He was awfully young to be a master fencer with his own academy, but she knew his story. Everyone in the business knew about him—boy genius, Olympic star and all, but the photo in the school's website hadn't done him justice by a long shot.
He needed a new photographer. Badly.
She needed air.
He met her halfway across the floor and shook her hand. Zings of heat flew up her arm.
Man candy. Yum. But she couldn't let anything get in her way of success. His royal hotness would have to be stuck in her back pocket until she had time to explore him. Slowly. Very slowly.
Their gazes collided like lasers. Wars could start that way.

My Review:
I read Public Display of Eroticism a few months ago and found that I really enjoyed considering I'm not a big novella reader. So when Cristal told me she had another one coming out, I agreed to read it. The three spicy sports stories rolled into an anthology makes for fun and erotic reading session!

Cassandra Carr's tennis star, Cal, was forced to retire early from his career because of an injury. He's now teaching at a ritzy sports club giving lessons to snobby woman when a beautiful woman who isn't like the others walks in and catches him off guard. Adriana claims she needs lessons, but her swings are perfect and she nails the ball each time...so what issue is she having?

Cindy Carr's fencing guy, Sebastien, is training Rina, who wants to compete in the Olympics. She's tough and has what it takes. The only problem? She's got a knack for mouthing off which prevents her from getting a real workout in from her past trainers. Well, her new trainer knows exactly what she needs to tame that sassy mouth of hers- him.

Cristal Ryder's sexy golfer, Jay, not only can swing a stick, but he can tie a rope too. He's a cowboy, he's hot and he's taking golf lessons from Lexie, who can't keep her eyes off of him. Ready to end the day and get away from this strong male with a southern accent, a rain storm stops them in their midst and Lexie has no choice but to wait out the storm with Jay.

Who the hell knew fencing, tennis and golf could be so hot? Surely not I!

I was so surprised with this anthology! Two sports I'm not big on are golf and fencing, and after reading those two sports stories made me want to give it a try. The three ladies who are part of this antho had me quite entertained during my quick read. I found myself smiling and breathing heavy- both at the same time! Close Contact is flirtatious and sensual that will satisfy your craving for a quick and sexy read.
