Blog Tour & Giveaway: Give Me Something by Elizabeth Lee

I have never switched teams when it comes to my love of jerks. N.E.V.E.R.

Until now.

Good-bye, dickhead.

I can't even deal...I feel like I betrayed my own self!

I know. TOTALLY SHOCKING.

To he who shall not be named. I was rooting for you, jerk! I love you, but I hate you...

Lila Rae and Nick are both con artists who met when they were young. They both grew up poor and wanted for everything. They connected on a level that most don't so young and stuck together ever since. Now they're both in college and Lila is ready to hang up the lifestyle that she and Nick have both grown accustomed to. She wants to live a normal life- with Nick that is.

Nick is Lila's weakness. Lila and Nick have intense chemistry that heats up the pages! One look, one touch is all it takes for Lila to succumb to Nicks wishes. It's not just a one way street either. Nick wants Lila too and makes a deal with her- one more big job and they can finally be together like they should've always been. But they're both professional lairs, so how do you know who's telling the truth? The job is simple, until emotions get in the way and walls are knocked down. They'll swindle and scheme until they get what they want...but at whose expense?

O.M.G. First of all, Nick and Tucker are de-lish-ious! BOTH of them. You won't even know which guy to root for. You'll fall in love with both...at first.

The first few pages and I was glued to my kindle! That's all it took! If I had to put it down, my mind was running through all the different paths this story couldn't gone down. I really just didn't know, or I was so caught up in the current place I was at to think any further. Either way, I was hooked.

Give Me Something is a book that I wasn't expecting to hit me as hard as it did. From reading the blurb I knew I'd like it, but I never expected to like it as much as I did. It took me by surprise, plain and simple. And doesn't that make you love the book even more? Just when I thought I had it figured out- BAM! I was caught off guard and sucked in even further! My heart stopped beating at that point. I was devastated by the actions of some of the characters, like wanted to cry and hit someone at the same time. I hadn't realized I invested so much into the story until that particular scene happened.

Eventually my heart started to beat again, but it wasn't by the one who I wanted to make it beat. No, he messed up big time...yet redeemed himself. I know! It makes my head spin too! But in the end, the story ended without any crazy cliffhangers and how it should have ended, but I can't help but want more. LIKE NOW.

This is my first read by Elizabeth Lee when it should've been my second. I've had her other book, Shattered, on my kindle forever. If this book is any indication of her writing, then I'm an asshole for not reading her other book first. I loved it- plain and simple.

Give Me Something is a book that is going down as a favorite read of 2013, for sure.

Bio:
Born and raised in the middle of a Midwestern cornfield (not literally, that would be weird), I’ve spent my entire life imagining stories. Stories where the right guy always gets the right girl, first kisses are as magical as they are on the big screen and anything is completely possible if you believe.

Although this journey began years ago, it recently took on a whole new life. After years of devouring hundreds of Romance, YA and New Adult novels, I had an epiphany... I should write a book. And I did it! My first YA/New Adult novel is out now!

If I’m not reading, writing, enjoying drinks with my amazing group of girlfriends or chasing around a sarcastically funny oneyear old, I’m probably watching television shows that were created for teenagers, while my husband teases that I’m too old to watch them.

Hahahahaha! LOL, Taryn! I completely agree with you that you can't help but root for them both. I was clearly on the other team than you, though. I know what you mean by redeeming and making your head spin, it was crazy! I hope maybe there'll be some I don't know. A few extra chapters or something. It was a very enjoyable read:) Yay, that you loved it so much!
