I have a serious love/hate relationship with cliffhangers.
On the one hand, when they’re done well I’m left wanting more. On the other
hand, I’m left wanting more. What’s a girl to do?
Dazzled by Silver ends in a cliffhanger. We get a HFN
between Gabe and Samantha but the overall problem that has brought them
together, Kendra, is not resolved. In fact, we’re left with a few questions and
some definite OMG tension.
Gabe is a private investigator. He’s a very good private
investigator and security specialist. He’s also very rich and comes from a
wealthy family. He’s also sexy as sin and knows how the treat a lady.
Samantha is smart, sexy and in a lot of ways very innocent.
She’s open minded about sex and willing to explore, but she’s an innocent in
the ways of relationships and how they work. Gabe is just the man for her.
The chemistry between Gabe and Lacey is hot. They manage to
burn up the sheets as well as the kitchen, boat, pool, ocean, bathtub and I’m
sure a few more places that I forgot.
Now, I don’t really care for F/F action. But I have to admit
the scenes involving F/F action in this book were blazing hot! They could make
someone rethink the whole needing a man thing! Almost.
I’m not sure when the next one comes out, but I’m ready Ms.
Silks. Bring it on!
