ARC Review: Let Me In by Callie Croix

5 Stars

Talia is a marine on home from leave with no place to go. Her friends Angie and Liam meet her at the airport and take her home with them. The attraction between Liam and Talia is explosive.  Will they give in to their attraction?

Because novellas are so short it’s difficult for authors to develop characters the reader can love. This is NOT a problem for Callie Croix. She develops such wonderful characters that are easy to love.

Talia has problems she doesn’t want to share with anyone because she thinks they’ll abandon her. Liam is 100% pure alpha-dominant male and won’t let her face those problems alone. Talia and Liam butt heads on more than one occasion, but Liam won’t give up on Talia and demands she let him help her. It’s a heart-warming and touching story that will leave you in tears. Sometimes it will be tears of joy and other times tears of pain as you feel everything Talia is going through.

Ms. Croix doesn’t leave anything left hanging. All questions are answered and everyone gets their Happily Ever After!

Good review, it's always hard knowing whether you are going to get a well written story in a short novella. Thanks for sharing
