Power Play by Chellesie B. Dancer

Synopsis:
Liz is a rich heiress and CEO of her own company. Sergio is an advertising executive trying to make partner in his firm. When they meet, the sparks are instantaneous and they begin to play a sexual game of cat and mouse.

Review:
This is a short erotic novella.  It’s a quick and enjoyable read. Character development is difficult in novellas but Chellesie Dancer does it beautifully. Through Liz and Sergio’s interactions you quickly realize that Sergio is determined to make it in advertising on his own and Liz is determined to get her way, again.

Novellas are always difficult because there is so little time to build backstory and move the characters from one situation to another. Chellesie did a decent job of moving Liz and Sergio along but it still felt a little forced in places. She was also able to develop some backstory with the characters through their conversations.

While this book was advertised to me as a BDSM novella, I did not get the feel of BDSM from it. It was more erotic with a little bondage thrown in.

Sounds like an interesting read and more like a novella with light bdsm flavor...Thanks for sharing.
