Hunky Hero Giveaway Hop

Hunky Hero Giveaway Hop

Hunky Hero Giveaway Hop is here!

Who's your favorite hunky hero? For me, he has to have a tortured soul, first and foremost and of course be a total alpha male- that's a given. Then he would have to think he is unworthy of being loved or incapable of loving someone and he has to have a heart breaking story to go along with it. That's my favorite hero. What would really top the cake for me is if the hero is a total jerk to the heroine. Yup, you read correctly. I love hunky heroes that can be a complete asshole to the heroine. Don't ask me why I do, I just do. The meaner the better for me. Strange, I know...but whatever floats your boat, right? And let's not forget about the sweet talking he can do that would lead to hot and steamy passion between the sheets. Ahhh, yes. I love hunky heroes!

Here are a few that come to mind quickly-
Now I want to hear what you all like. In order to be entered in this giveaway, leave a comment naming your favorite hunky hero. Don't forget to mention the name of the book and the author so we can look it up.:) YOU MUST LEAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS ALSO. IT WILL BE THE ONLY WAY FOR ME TO CONTACT THE WINNER.

Only in ebook format
Since most people despise this kind of hero, I will be giving you a choice of one paperback book to chose from below to win.

It's very hard for me to find this kind of hero. If you can recommend me a book with a mean alpha male, I will give you an extra entry. :)

I've read everything you're giving away (and loved all of them) except for Jacquelyn Frank. I've never read any of her books before. I'll choose Stealing Kathryn.

One of my all time favorite alpha males is Tiago in Thea Harrison's Storm's Heat.

Unfortunately my bad boy doesn't have his own book yet. But I love Shock from Shayla Black's Doomsday Brethren series. Luckily we get to see him in the other books so we can drool over his badassness!

I have read LOVER AWAKENED, LORD OF SCOUNDRELS and DEVIL IN WINTER. I agree the three heroes in there are definitely (good) bad boys! I agree men like them are hard to come by...I recommend AN IMPOSSIBLE ATTRACTION (historical romance) and DARK EMBRACE (time-travel paranormal romance), both by Brenda Joyce.

My Hunky Hero of the moment is Shane from Jessica Scott's Because of You. I didn't want the story to end. Need more Shane!

The one suggestion for you that came to mind is Gunnar the Red from Immortal Champion by Lisa Hendrix. I don't remember how jerky he was but I do remember him as being the unworthy type.
My favorite hunky heroes are strong, protective, loyal, loving and resourceful. I do love Dark Hunters, Carpathians and BDB. If I had to pick just one hero it would be Rhage from Lover Eternal by JR Ward. He just stole my heart before the others got the chance.

Some of my favorite are The Dartmouth Cobras from Bianca Sommerland's Game Misconduct. Can’t get enough of those dominant males.

I like an alpha, protective hero. I like Lachlain and Declan from Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark and Maddox from Gena Showalter's Immortals After Dark.

I've just finished the first five books in Monica McCarty's Highland Guard series - these guys are definitely Hunky Heroes. None of them want to become involved or love the heroine, so they all have their mean moments. The one, so far, that has the most tortured story & is disliked by many (because he's misunderstood & doesn't care if anyone likes him) is Viper.

Well, I'm going to say Maddox from The Darkest Night, a Lords of the Underworld series novel, by Gena Showalter.

Mean alpha male, huh? Hmm, well, I'm not sure if this would qualify entirely but I'm going to throw this out there anyway and say The Darkest Passion by Gena Showalter.

Thank you for the giveaway.

I can't really think of a hero that would fit into this category. The only ones I can think of are ones who started out using the heroine but then ends turning a complete 180. Thanks for the giveaway!

One of my favorite hunky heros is excactly what you are describing and I can't believe no one has named him yet! It is Jericho Z Barrons from Karen Marie Monings Fever series. I know it is technically Urban Fantasy but he is so worth reading.

He is a totally asshole through 90-95% of the series but damn does he make up for it in the other 5-10%.

Stacia Kane's Downside series features not 1 but 2 asshole Alpha male heros (Terrible & Lex), in addition to a heroine with some major issues!!

I love a mean hero too! One that comes to mind is Lothaire from Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark Series. Another mean one is Teague Creek in Joan Swan's Fever. He treats the heroine horribly most of the time.
My favorite hero is Demetrius from Elisabeth Naughton's Tempted. He is mean to his heroine throughout the Eternal Guardians Series when they show up periodically. He says some mean things to her and about her in front of other people.
Thank you for the giveaway and participating in this great HOP!
