Chris FINALLY found his mate. Problem? She’s married!
Chris is in agony. He found his mate and he wants her. The
problem is she’s already married to a stick in the mud. Jiao also wants to be
with Chris, but she can’t. Sheng stops her at every opportunity. But then Sheng
finds his mate. What’s a shifter to do? It’s all so convoluted!
Once again Eve Langlais brought to life some interesting
characters that pop off the page of the book. The story draws you in and keeps
you reading. You can’t put it down.
Chris is an amazing character. He has honor and integrity
but when he finds his mate, all bets are off. He tries to do the right thing. He
wants to do the right thing. It’s just so hard. His wolf is pulling at him,
demanding he claim his mate.
Jiao is in an even more difficult situation. She’s married. She’s
hiding. Her past can get them all hurt. But she wants to live. She wants to be
with her mate.
Sheng is in a similar situation. He’s found his mate, but
like Jiao, his past can bring them all down.
But you can count on Chris’s family to do whatever it takes
to keep family safe and help them be with their mates. They rally around them
wreak a little havoc!
I truly love this series. Eve Langlais has become one of my
favorite authors.
