Raber Wolf Pack book two has the same action with a side of romance and some funny moments we found in the previous book.  This is going to be short and quick because I don’t want to give anything away.

I loved Max, he was the perfect mix of alpha, well technically beta if you want to be specific, sexy, dominant, protector, and wolf.  He knew that Kenly was his mate but he had more at stake then just convincing her that they were meant to be.  Nope not gonna give it away sorry folks.  I will say this, Kenly did tend to get on my nerves a little, more than once I wanted to just either slap some sense into her or just shake the living hell out of her, but in the end she grew on me.   I love how everything is slowly starting to come together, we still have questions that need to be answered but I have a feeling we haven’t seen nothing yet.

I have always been a fan of paranormal books. Vampire, shifters, demons love them all. So when I had the opportunity to read a shifter book I said sign me right up! I read it the same day that it hit my kindle, and for me who usually has a ton of books to read for reviews or just for pleasure, that should tell you how bad I needed a good paranormal read at that moment, and Accidentally Wolf didn’t disappoint. It was a quick, funny, sexy read that I read in one sitting.

I love how Cora became an accidental wolf and her past made me feel for her even more because she didn’t think Zayne wouldn’t want her because of it and his response was perfect. Zayne was a little aggravating at the beginning, but let’s be serious here for a minute shall we, what male is ever not aggravating at times. Not a single one. While he may have been aggravating at first that quickly went away and that is one sexy wolf.

I have a new series that I am going to be reading and if the rest of the Mystic Wolves series is as good as Accidentally Wolf was, well then this reviewer will be one happy gal.

No stranger to touching herself, Cora needed relief. For every beat of her heart, she felt an echo between her legs. She sucked two fingers into her mouth and swirled her tongue around each digit before reaching under her lace briefs. Eliza is cautious about not just her heart but also her ability to have visions and the impact on others that they cause.  Her visions have shown her pain, death and heartbreak.  She has seen her future with Spencer and she is scared to open her heart fully.  I could totally understand her fears based on her past, but she should have opened up to Spencer a lot sooner.

Spencer knows that he messed up, boy does he ever know and is suffering for his mistake.  He is determined to show Eliza that she can trust him, love him, everything.  He wants his mate and is willing to be patient, well as patient as a male wolf can be.  I loved Spencer, he is one sexy wolf that’s for damn sure.

If I thought that Crying Wolf was explosive with the sexual chemistry, well then Shoot For The Moon is a step below from a nuclear explosion because this is one hot book.  But it is also so much more.  It is about acceptance of someone different, forgiving someone you love for have hurting you and it is about trusting that that same person won’t ultimately hurt you once more.  I knew going in that Shoot For The Moon would be a more angst filled emotional read because of the circumstances and once again I couldn’t put it down once I started.  I am impatiently awaiting for Thrown To The Wolves to be released, which is the next book and one I can’t wait to take a bite out of once I get my greedy reviewer hands on it.  I really hope that Ms. Paige writes more shifter books in her future because she is doing a damn good job so far.

Review: Crying Wolf By: Rochelle Paige

4 Stars!

Running from her crazy and abusive ex-boyfriend, who is also a cop, Grace knows it will only be a matter of time before he finds her.  So far she has been able to run for months but she needs money and wants to settle down.  She ends up in a town of shifters, the only thing she has no idea that werewolves or shifters period exist.  Luckily, she lands up working for the Alpha of the Black River Pack, who unknown to her is her mate. 

Hunter doesn’t want any non-shifters working in his bar.  When he finds out that his brother hired a human, let’s just say he is far from happy. Well that is until he realizes that she is his mate.  He can sense immediately that she is on the run from danger and will need to take his time with her.  He knows that she wants him too, but he is losing his patience taking things slow.  When her safety is placed at risk he wastes no time claiming Grace for his mate.

I couldn’t put Crying Wolf down once I had started it.  I love shifter books, and to have it be by one of my favorite must reads authors was just another plus in my book.  Hunter and Grace are what each other needs.  Grace needs someone to protect her at all costs, and Hunter needs his mate, add in that she is his destiny and that makes it even better.  The sexual chemistry between these two is explosive and it was only a matter of time before there would be a reaction that had me wishing I was Grace.  Did I mention he is Alpha of his pack?  Yeah for this reviewer that just makes him more panty melting in my opinion. 

Crying Wolf is the first novella in this series and for it being the starting book it is smoking hot, addictive and it leaves you wanting more.  I want the next one now.  You are introduced to who the next couple is and I am anxiously waiting to see how it plays out.  Shifter fans, Rochelle Paige fans, and anyone looking for a quick steamy read will not be disappointed with Crying Wolf.
