Review: Complete Me by J. Kenner

Complete Me picks up right where Claim Me leaves off. There’s no break in time. We’re in Germany where Damien is facing murder charges. He refuses to reveal the abuse he suffered in order to get the charges dismissed. Nikki is beside herself as she watches Damien go through all of this and there’s nothing she can do to stop it.

Secrets are revealed, secrets are kept and more secrets are made.

Let me start by saying I have LOVED this trilogy. I’m not really sure why because Damien and Nikki are two of the most dysfunctional people EVER! Not only are they dysfunctional, they give a new definition to co-dependent.  What’s interesting though, is that not matter how dysfunctional they are, together they work. They bring each other a peace and grounding that alone they don’t have. Somehow, they make it work.

As with the other stories in this trilogy we have some amazingly hot sex, incredible tension between Nikki and Damien and a mystery that needs to be solved. In this one, we get answers to questions that came up in the other stories, we get some new questions, that are answered in this one, and we get romance that is as amazing as it is dysfunctional.

I was definitely on a roller coaster ride with this trilogy. I’m having a few bittersweet moments as on the one hand I’m glad to have all the answers but on the other hand I hate to leave Damien and Nikki. But after everything they’ve been through, they deserve their Happily Ever After.

Find it on GoodReads!
