Wow!
This one gripped me from the start.
David walks into the hospital carrying a bleeding Katrina in his
arms. The story then takes us backward through
his POV and shows us their relationship from the beginning.
Katrina has been is best friend since
they were kids. She is the best thing that has ever happened to him. Sadly, living with a miserable father and
growing up to see how unhappy his parents were affects him. He doesn’t think he’s relationship
material. By the time he’s ready to face
what he truly feels for Katrina and make a move, it’s too late. Or is it?
I fell in love with these
characters. While reading I kept
shouting in my head for David to just go for it. When I saw several opportunities for him just
slipping away, my heart ached. I am
looking forward to reading the next book in the series to see if these two can
finally get on the same page and get together.

Katrina Mahoney has a very full life attending university to
