Blog Tour: Guest Post and Giveaway: Handcuffed by Her Hero (The WILD boys of Special Forces book 2) by Angel Payne

Between a rock and a hard place.
To Sergeant Zeke Hayes, the expression has always been a non-factor. There's never been a situation he can't blast, punch, negotiate or smart-ass his way out of, which makes him the perfect fit for his Special Forces battalion--and a natural-born Dominant who's made a lot of submissives happy from Mt. Rainier to Vancouver.

That all changes when Rayna Chestain enters his world.

A rock.
From the moment Z snatches Rayna from the lair of a South Asian slave trafficker, his inner grizzly roars to life with protective intensity. This is a huge damn problem, because Z isn't wired to be a one-woman man. Growing up an orphan on the streets of Seattle has taught him that beyond a few hours in a dungeon, trust means disappointment and love leads to agony. But here he is, in the remote wilderness escape he'd promised not to share with anyone, harboring Rayna from a fiend who now wants his pound of revenge flesh from her--in the form of her beating heart. Zeke will stop at nothing to keep Rayna safe, even asking his SFG brothers to join him in the fight to hold his fortress secure.

A hard place.
Sheltering Rayna? Z's never done anything more right in his life. But wanting her? Dreaming of her body beneath him, bound and surrendering to his domination? It's the most forbidden fruit he can crave...and the only thing he can't stop thinking about.

A new beginning?
This is a dead-end canyon that no rifle, bomb or sweet talk will let Zeke escape from. The only way out is to confront the reality of what Rayna has done to him...the mountain she's moved in his intractable heart.

Zeke is a hot, sexy, must be in control Dominant who is in high demand and is never in need of a willing subbie.  He has a darker side, his teammates don’t call him Zsycho for nothing.  His world is rocked to the core when he becomes closer and closer to Rayna, the chemistry between them in explosive to put it mildly, but he refuses to let her get close for more than a couple of days at a time.  He is super protective of Rayna and will stop at nothing to keep her safe.  Did I mention he is hot and sexy and Dominant?  He is also more and that is what made me love Zeke so much more.  In my mind he is what a hero should be, someone who is willing to go to the end of the earth to keep the woman he loves safe and protected but at the same time, sexy, Dominant and knows how to set the sheets on fire.

Rayna has literally gone through hell, and unfortunately that hell keeps reshowing its evil face in her nightmares and in real life.  Zeke seems to be able to keep the demons away and has turned into one of her best friends but she wants more.  There is this connection between the two of them that is more than just physical or that he is the hero who rescued her.  I felt so much sympathy for Rayna, I could not imagine the hell she was put through.  I loved how even though she was vulnerable she was also tough as hell and was just as protective of Zeke than he was of her.  She was exactly who Zeke needed.

Handcuffed By Her Hero is the second book in the WILD boys of Special Forces series and if you haven’t read the first book, Saved By His Submissive, I suggest that you read it first or you will feel like you are missing vital parts of the storyline.  This series is one fans of military and BDSM should really enjoy, I know I sure did.  I was hooked after reading book 1 now I am addicted after finishing book 2.  The next book can't get here fast enough.  Add this to your TBR people, you won’t be disappointed.

I am so excited to be here today, visiting with MSR! Thank you for stopping by to read a bit!

In the theme of the blog, I thought I’d share some fun “secrets” about the hero of “Handcuffed By Her Hero,” Zeke Hayes. As you all may know by now, Zeke is built like a mountain and, most of the time, has the social aptitude of one, as well. LOL! Let’s just say that he doesn’t let a lot of things get in the way of accomplishing his goals, be it on a mission with his Special Forces team or convincing Rayna Chestain to believe in that submission doesn’t mean “weak.”

Along the way, you find out a few fun facts about Z—including his love for blinding Hawaiian print shirts and Star Wars. Here are a few other fun tidbits that you won’t find in the book!

--He can juggle—but only if he’s drunk.
--He can’t whistle. Has tried but can’t figure it out.
--Keeps a bunch of little toys in his go bag so he can give them to local kids in countries on missions.
--Hates panties (all right, this one might not be a surprise…)
--Pays attention to the airline safety talk on commercial flights. Every word.
--Loves getting pedicures. (And now he’s going to paddle me hard for revealing it. Oh, damn.)

Hope you enjoy Zeke and Rayna’s story! It was a blast to write it, and I look forward to hearing your feedback!
