Review: Leonardo by Melissa Schroeder

Leonardo “Leo” Santini is in the Army and is stationed in San Antonio. He always has a plan for how his life should be. While visiting an injured friend at BAMC, he never figured he would go head to head with the physical therapist assigned to his friend’s case. He is immediately attracted to her and is completely unprepared when it comes to dealing with her. Maryanne “MJ” Johnson, doesn’t have time right for a relationship, and she is bound and determined not to have a relationship with someone who is active duty military, she has been in one too many relationships with one that turned out bad. Like Leo, she is instantly attracted to him, and tries her hardest to not only get involved with him but to also not show him her feelings.

The sexual chemistry between Leo and Maryanne is just waiting to explode, and it keeps building with each interaction. The back and forth between the two of them was hilarious and had me laughing out loud numerous times. Maryanne can be such a smart ass, I loved it! Leo also proved that just because you are a tough military man that you can be sweet and romantic as well.

I could not put this novella down. It was a quick and fun read that introduces us to author Melissa Schroeder’s newest series, The Santinis. This author knows how to write about hot and sexy men in the military. Fans of her other books will love this new series!
