Review: Art and Soul by Scarlett Knight

This book is a short (and by short I mean a total of about thirteen pages) little twofer about rekindled love and lust in lovers that have been apart for some time before finally reuniting.

A sexy little read that actually seems to have more story than sex despite its length and will leave you with a smile.

Art and Soul is a tale about a soul deep connection between two people that had loved each other once upon a time before taking different paths in life.  Their reunion is sexy and sweet and made me think “awwww” in that really girly way by the end.

Saturday Surprise is also a reunion story, but one that more drives the point home that “Hell hath no wrath like a woman scorned.”  When Jacob shows up on her doorstep after having left her behind years ago, he’s expecting an easy comeback, but she’s going to have fun with him as she makes him work for what he wants.

Both of these stories are short and while they do contain a sex scene, I feel it’s really more about the plot.  I actually want more, especially from Saturday Surprise.  One is sweet and the other fun, with a little smut thrown in.  Definitely worth a read.
