Kele Moon is one author, IMO, who doesn't get the recognition that she most
definitely deserves. I've said it once and too many times, if you haven't read
anything by her...what the hell are you waiting for!?! First off, her stories
are well written and there are no editing issues. Secondly, her stories are
believable, you can relate to the characters and you want to live in the world
she has created. This is me not kissing ass. This is Amanda speaking
truth.
This is my favorite type of romance. Childhood friends becoming
much more to each other. You see from an early age how Wyatt will become the man
he is today. He's protective, strong, gentle and understanding. Wyatt is the way
he is due to his family. The Conner family is one of a kind. They made due
without the love of a wife and mother and still became a family that is
respected and loved. Tabitha is from the "wrong side of the tracks". Her mom
wasn't what a mother could be and her brother wasn't a role model. She doesn't
have a lot, she doesn't dress the best and even with this Tabitha turns out to
be a beautiful woman that Wyatt is completely head over heels in love with.
When you know you've met your true love, your soulmate, your happy
ever after you hold on to it. Circumstances occur where there bond is broken
but they have this soul deep connection that even 13 years of seperation
couldn't put a dent into their everlasting love. They have this unconditional
love that rivals all others.
Wyatt puts shame on all men who think they
need to sink themselves in either alcohol, drugs or women. Now some may not find
it believable that a man can be celibate for so many years. But that's thing
with Wyatt, once you get to know him the better you understand his love for
Tabitha. Wyatt is a hero in every sense of the word.
This story is not
only about the love of Wyatt and Tabitha. It's also about family. You get to see
all the siblings connections from The Conners to The Wellings. And for me,
that's the heart of the story. Family sticks with you thru thick and thin and
you'll be grateful if you are blessed to have a family like that.
I
could go on and on about this book, this series and author but I'm leaving it to
you, as a reader, to discover the talented Kele Moon.

Review: Beyond Eden by Kele Moon
When three lifetime friends become so much more, can they get past everything that is keeping them from being truly happy, or will they be kicked out of the Garden of Eden they have created for themselves forever?
Danny is the dark, intense snake in the grass who wants both his lovers, Paul and Eve to stay with him forever. Danny usually gets what Danny wants but will he be able to this time? Paul hides who he truly is with everyone except Danny and Eve. He can never tell his family or his fiancé who he truly is inside and what types of things get him off in the bedroom without them turning their backs on him forever. Eve is a very talented artist who leaves New York and returns home after being away for 10 years and begins her relationship with Danny, even though she is still in love with Paul all these years later, but she also loves Danny as well. Is Eve the one who will keep them all together or will the forbidden fruit break them all in ways they may not be able to recover from?
Let me first off state that I was not in any way in love with this book. Eve annoyed me big time. Paul needed to finally figure who he is and say fuck the rest of the world. Danny, well I kinda loved how he wanted what he wanted and didn’t want to give up the two people he loved the most and would manipulate any way he could to try to keep them. I had no problem with the M/M/F relationships; I love reading about them and anyone who knows me personally or who has read any of my reviews regarding BDSM books know how much I love them as well, but this one just didn’t work for me. It didn’t flow in my opinion. Maybe this is just one that I did not connect with like others did. Was it emotional, yes, very emotional throughout the book, especially Paul. Was it a darker BDSM? Yes it was and that didn’t even phase me in the least. I think I just became tired of the same thing, different wording when it came to these three. They all loved each other, but Paul wouldn’t leave his fiancĂ© who he isn’t happy with because he needs to be normal for his family, blah blah blah. They all carried on like they had their own personal Garden of Eden, but like it says in the bible you take a bite of the forbidden fruit you will be kicked out. I wanted to kick them out myself it got so annoying.
I have read other books by Kele Moon and loved them. I have even reviewed them and praised them, but this one did not work for me. I will continue, obviously, to read this author because while I may not have loved Beyond Eden like others have, I will not stop reading her other books in the future.

Review: Star Crossed (Battered Hearts #2) by Kele Moon
Romeo and Juliet.
A love story for the ages.
A tragedy that tells of two star-crossed lovers who never
get their HEA.
Maybe this time it will turn out differently.
Romeo is a MMA fighter. He’s just lost the Championship
Title to Clay Powers. When he ends up saving Clay’s girlfriend, Clay’s longtime
friend Jules (Juliet to Romeo) takes him to dinner as a thank you. From there,
the tension just skyrockets!
Juliet is a beautiful, tough lawyer from Garnet, TX. She’s
travelling with Clay Powers and ends up in bed with Romeo. When Romeo moves to
Garnet to train with Clay, the sparks fly.
Romeo and Juliet pursue a relationship. But neither one is
ready for Wyatt (Juliet’s brother and town sheriff) to know. So, they do a lot
of sneaking around. Having grown up in a small town, I was shocked they were
able to keep it quiet. My small town was bigger than Garnet and NOTHING was a
secret there!
Romeo is plagued by a guilty conscience. He has ties to the Italian Mafioso in New
York. Being involved with Juliet puts her at risk. Almost as much risk as him.
This was a really good story. I enjoyed it immensely. I
loved the phone sex and adding in the facetime sex was even hotter! The sexual
tension between Romeo and Juliet was crackling! Everything went along smoothly
and then……the proverbial shit hit the fan!
I was really curious how Romeo was going to get away from
the mafia. It’s not like he could hand in a letter of resignation. One does not
simply “walk away” from the mafia. The ending was intense and action packed. It
was AWESOME!
I’m really hoping the next story in the Battered Hearts
series is Wyatt’s. I think it will be as the set up is there. I’m loving this
series!

STAR-CROSSED Book Tour
Review:
Can I just sayI love how their names are Romeo and Juliet? Maybe it is the romantic in me,but when I saw that I just knew that this was going to be a book that was goingto make me fall in love with the characters and I did. Romeo, oh Romeo wherecan I find my own personal Romeo? He is hot, steamy, loyal, and a romantic, whocould ask for more ladies? Oh and he is a UFC fighter too, so that just adds tohis level of hotness in my opinion. Juliet, or Jules as she is known toeveryone else, is his perfect balance. She is not some weak soft spoken woman,no this girl kicks serious ass! She has multiple black belts in Karate, is anattorney, a part time deputy sheriff, part owner of the gym and knows how totake care of herself.
These two area modern day Romeo and Juliet, yes pun intended. They had to survive a lot tobe together and that is an understatement of what they went through. My stomachwould flip flop during certain scenes, my heart would physically hurt duringothers and I even cried a little. These two are the missing piece to eachother.

Afreckle-faced redhead born and raised in Hawaii, Kele Moon has always beena bit of a sore thumb and has come to enjoy the novelty of it. She thrives onpushing the envelope and finding ways to make the impossible work in her storytelling. With a mad passion for romance, she adores the art of falling in love. The only rules she believes in is that, in love, there are no rules and truelove knows no bounds.
So obsessed isshe with the beauty of romance and the novelty of creating it, she’s lost inher own wonder world most of the time. Thankfully she married her own dark, handsome, brooding hero who has infinite patience for her airy ways andattempts to keep her grounded. When she leaves her keys in the refrigerator orher cell phone in the oven, he’s usually there to save her from herself. Thetwo of them now reside in Florida with their three beautifulchildren, who make their lives both fun and challenging in equal parts—theywouldn’t have it any other way.

Review: Defying the Odds by Kele Moon
This is the first work of Kele Moon’s that I have read and she has
already made a fan out of me. I loved how she made Clay, the big bad UFC
Champion, growl and snarl at everyone but had a soft spot only for Melody. It
was endearing how gentle and overall sweet he was to her. He was kind of like
her own personal teddy bear. He knew she had to overcome her past and tried his
hardest not to scare her away. I almost cried when they broke up and Clay acted
like the world was ending for him. Melody soothed his soul and without her he
was missing a piece of himself.
Clay's best friends, Jules and Wyatt, knew he was miserable and did what
they had to do to make him happy again. They didn’t give a shit if it pissed
him off. They plotted to get Melody where Clay needed her; making me love them
too. They were more than friends they were his family.
Melody was sweet and she survived an abusive marriage. She deserved to
have a guy like Clay in her life. She deserved to be protected and she was.
I am a UFC fan and will admit at first I was skeptical about how the
author was going to work MMA and UFC into the book. She did great! It is not
over the top and in your face, but the perfect blend for the storyline. It
doesn’t take away from Clay and Melody’s relationship and the feelings they
share. It is a great first book in a series that any UFC or MMA fan who is also
a fan of romance should put on their must read list.
