Review: In Tune By Laramie Briscoe

Forgiveness
Compassion
Love

When Cash Montgomery and Harper Stillwell decided to take a chance on a fling, neither one knew where it would take them. From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows, they are clawing their way back to the kind of relationship they have both fought so hard for.

Cash can forgive, but he can’t forget. Harper can apologize, but she can’t express her true feelings.

Growing up is hard—just because you reach an age where the world says you’re an adult doesn’t mean you are. These two are figuring out that life only gets more difficult the older you get, they are learning that love comes at a price, and they are deciding whether it’s worth fighting for.

After the Collision—they’re desperately trying to figure out if they can ever be in tune.
I have got to admit, I really enjoyed this trilogy more than I originally thought I would. Each book drew me in more and more, I need more of Cash and Harper’s relationship.  I wanted to know if they were going to make it, if Cash would be able to take care of Remy, if Harper would be able to open her feelings up, and if Cash would be able to fix what he broke.

The way that Ms. Briscoe has not only showed that even if you are struggling in life, that if you don’t give up, if you have someone to encourage you along the way, things will work out.  Life isn’t always easy.  People struggle to make rent,  put food on the table, to do the right thing even if it means the easier thing would be to just let someone else handle it.  I love how she also proves that family doesn’t mean only blood.  Family is those you allow to be your family, the ones who have your back, who will always be there for you, who will help out when you need them, that those are the people who are your family.

I am sad to see that the trilogy has come to an end.  I hope that we will continue to see more of Cash, Harper and Remy in the Heaven Hill series.  The trilogy is now complete, so if you have been waiting to check it out, make sure that you go and get all three books asap.  Laramie Briscoe knows how to make her readers fall in love with her characters and have her readers crave for more.
