Review: Conflicted By:M.M. Koenig

Mia Ryan was on the path to make all her dreams come true. Her life was everything she wanted it to be; until one fateful night changed everything – leaving her broken and without direction. Nearly a year later, she still has little faith in anyone or anything. Desperate to reclaim her life’s ambition, she takes an unexpected offer that promises to solve all her problems. But as Mia moves forward, she’s faced with obstacles she couldn’t have foreseen. The biggest of them lies within the mystery of Ethan Fitzgerald; a man who affects her like no other, but who she should avoid pursuing, at all costs.

On a mission himself, Ethan Fitzgerald didn’t care who he pissed off on his road to fulfill his mother’s dying wish. He relied on himself, and was closed off to the world around him – until Mia Ryan walked through his door. Normally one to avoid messy emotions, Ethan’s world is turned upside down by Mia, and he can’t seem to get enough of her.

There are lines you can cross that will change the course of your life forever …

Conflicted, wow. I have been sitting here for the past hour trying to type us this review, trying to figure out what descriptions I could use to describe this book by M.M. Koenig to you all.  My list so far consisted of the following words: suspenseful, emotionally draining, mystery, holy hell Irish Mob, sexy, holy hot damn Ethan, and son of a bitch that ending!  As you can see there a lot of words that could describe all that is Conflicted, and why I am so conflicted about what words I can choose from.

I am going to be straight forward and admit that this review won’t be this long detailed explanation about how much I loved this book or list off all the reasons why you need to read about Mia and Ethan because seriously this is one that will have you cursing one minute and wondering if your kindle is on fire the next.  I won’t even begin to describe the variety of different variations of the word fuck that I used at that ending, but luckily for all of us Complicated, the next book is already out so that may save some kindle repair bills for all of you.  Just go grab this one and be prepared to be conflicted with your own words to describe what you feel about this release from M.M. Koenig.
