Falling in love was the easy part…
For Talon Carver, the commanding and charismatic lead singer of the rock band 69 Bottles, life has never been better—or worse. His heart’s at a full 11 for Addison Beltrand, his feisty PR rep. But admitting it was a much different tune. The dilemma’s even more complicated when adding his other lover to the mix: Kyle Black, the band’s handsome, sweet and sexy manager. Why ruin a good thing, right? Things are pretty damn perfect for the trio—in and out of bed. But just when they find their best rhythm with each other, a rocky night in Minneapolis forces all three to reexamine their feelings—and take their relationship to new levels. But can love be enough? The band’s soaring popularity, along with the pressures of maintaining an unconventional relationship on a high-profile rock tour, start to take their toll. When Addison starts to fall apart, Talon and Kyle must come to terms with how important she is to them both. Can Addison find the strength to be their glue once more? What happens when the world goes on…but yours suddenly stops? When everything looks like it’s going to fall apart? Is love enough to bring Talon, Kyle, and Addison back to each other’s arms…and with it, the magic that true redemption can bring? ****Content Warning**** Sexy, naked, bisexual rock stars…and a lot more… This book contains, but is not limited to the following sexual content – reader discretion is advised - hot sex between two men and one woman. M/M/F, M/F/M, M/F, F/M and M/M sexual content. There are no boundaries when these three crash together, as long as you’re over 18 years of age.
Do you remember all the things that you loved in the first two books?  Those intense feelings and emotions and all that hot as hell sex that these three had?  Well we get even more in Redeeming Kyle and holy hot damn I was on the edge of my seat and reaching for my husband at the same time.  I threw my kindle, picked it back up, screamed in frustration and shed some tears.  I also wanted to smack some sense into Kyle and praise Talon for stepping up. Be prepared to feel a high range of emotions when you are reading Redeeming Kyle, you may even wonder if you need anxiety or depression medicines from the way your emotions will go from one extreme to another.  It was so damn good.

Zoey Derrick you have cemented me as a fan for life, the journey that you have taken us readers on with Addison, Talon and Kyle’s relationship is one that I won’t soon forget.  I am thankful that you allowed me the honor of not just reviewing these books but taking me on the journey with Addison, Talon and Kyle.  I anxiously await to see what you have planned for us next.

Kyle comes back and I lean into him, wrapping my hands around his arm, holding on for dear life. Kyle kisses the top of my head and my heart swells. No matter how bad he’s feeling, he doesn’t forget about me. We arrive at the restaurant and Talon argues with Mills about getting dinner, but Talon wins the argument and Mills escorts him inside. “I imagine social media is blowing up.” Kyle laughs, “He grew up close to here, it might not be that bad.” “I hope so.” I turn in my seat to look at him. “Are you feeling better?” He snorts. “No.” “You’re hiding it well.” “Good.” He leans over and kisses my forehead. “What’s freaking you out?” I ask bluntly. “Is this really the place for this?” I shrug. “You and I are eating in the bedroom. We’re going to talk, so we can either wait until then, or you can give me an indication so that I can figure out how to handle this with you. I don’t expect you to be all butterflies and roses when we’re done, but this, the way you are, it’s hurting me. I don’t like it, but I can’t let it go.” “What if I asked you to tell me what’s on your mind first?” I shrug, “If that’s what you think it will take to help you talk…” I let the thought trail off. “I guess I just need to know whether or not we’re sharing some of the same feelings and it might make it easier for me to tell you what I’m afraid of,” he says quietly, I can tell he’s afraid that he’s alone in his fears and that is far from the truth in this situation. “I’m scared because…” I take a deep breath, “because it’s all so fast, too fast. We’re barely beginning this journey together and now,” I can’t hold back the emotions anymore, “now we’re becoming a family. I’m terrified that you and Talon are going to realize that and bolt.” He shakes his head, sadness in his eyes. He opens his mouth to speak and I quiet him with my finger. “Please, I’ve started, don’t let me stop.” He nods his agreement. “I’m terrified that we’re testing the boundaries of our new relationship beyond what we’re ready for, what we’re capable of. That this is going to destroy whatever we have building between us. That it’s all too much for even me to handle, or process.” I wipe tears from my cheeks, “If you and Talon hadn’t been there or if I’d managed to do this on my own, finding out without you, I’m afraid I would have run away or that something is going to drive you both away from me.”

Review: Origin by Dani Worth

Science Fiction is so much fun. There are so many wonderful things you can do with it. You can have aliens that are built differently, have differing abilities, differing philosophies, and you can build these whimsical, fantastic worlds.

Dani Worth has definitely done that with her series, Kithran Regenesis. The fourth book in this wonderful series comes out April 8 and I was fortunate enough to get my greedy little hands on a copy before it came out!

Ms. Worth continues to give us a wonderful world where people are free to love anyone they choose and however many people they choose. I love that! There’s no judgment in their world. It’s all about doing what makes you and the ones you love happy.

In Origin, we get to find out what happens to Claybourne and Anders. These are two people we met in the earlier books. I love that we find out what happens to them. We get their story. In addition we find another Gwinarian. Another one is coming home to Kithra!

But it’s more than that. We get a little closer to finding out why and how Kithra was destroyed all those years ago. We also get to watch Siri get her freedom and blossom under the love and passion she shares with Claybourne and Anders.

Siri has suffered for the past 14 years. She’s been held prisoner, abused, beaten, raped, tortured, you name it, it’s happened to her. Claybourne and Anders find her when they raid the pleasure ship she’s been held on. They take her with them and teach her to trust, to love, and to feel passion.

Ms. Worth did an amazing job of showing how Siri grew out of her shell and became her own person. How she found her backbone after all those years of abuse. Yes, I know it would normally take years and counseling, but this is fiction. It’s Science Fiction and Siri is a Gwinarian. Go with it. I did and it’s worth it!

We get some seriously hot smexy sex in this story. We get M/M, M/F and of course we get some good ol’ MMF. It’s all in there. But it’s not just about Siri finding her backbone and learning to love, it’s about Claybourne and Anders learning to forgive each other, love each other and move on. They find out how short life is and make that move.

We meet some people in this one. I’m hoping their stories will be coming soon. I can’t wait to get more of this wonderful world Ms. Worth has built!

Review: Fierce Radiance by Tymber Dalton

Science Fiction is great! You can do anything you want in Science Fiction and it works. You just have to make it believable to the audience.

In Fierce Radiance, Tymber Dalton creates a world where people love who they love. Gender and species doesn’t matter. It’s all about who you love.

Samuel and Ker are looking for their third. They find it in Aine. Once they have her, they seduce her into loving them. And love her they do. They would do anything for her. Of course Aine has her own baggage that she has to deal with. Ker and Samuel do their best to help her heal, but it’s not always enough.

I will admit, I had a hard time at the beginning with the changes that happened with Aine once she mated with Samuel. However, once I let go and jumped in, the story was wonderful. Sometimes you have to let go! Remember, anything is possible.

Once I sunk my teeth into the story and accepted the world Tymber had created, I found myself feeling every emotion her character felt. I was weeping along with them as well as celebrating their triumphs. I could not put the story down.

Aine has had such a hard life. Her upbringing was very unconventional and left her with a few issues to work through. Samuel and Ker have been a couple for so long. They grew together and once they found Aine, they were complete. Their love knew no boundaries.

Ker’s species are an interesting lot. They have some very unique qualities and boggle the mind the at times. Their culture and customs are definitely eye-opening.

I love the world that’s been created. This is the first in the series and I’m anticipating another. I would love get more of this wonderful world that Tymber Dalton has created!

Review: The Glass Knot by Lily Harlem

HOLY COW! The Glass Knot is one HOT HOT HOT read! Yes, it deserves three HOTS!

Laura is on vacation when she meets this REALLY hot guy, and then she meets his equally hot husband. Damn! Gotta hate it when that happens.

Josh has never been with a woman. He’s thought about it, but never done it. His husband, Nick, was married to a woman before he married Josh. So, Nick, loving Josh as much as he does, gives him a pass for the night. Josh and Laura spend an amazing night together.

Problems arise when Josh still wants Laura and Laura still wants Josh.

This was a great story. It’s full of emotion and passion. It was not a straightforward story. Nick was jealous and fearful of losing Josh. He didn’t want Laura around. Laura understood this and didn't want to come between Josh and Nick.

We had the full range of emotions, jealousy, anger, and love. The resolution didn’t come easy. They had to fight for what they want and end up almost losing each other to find out what was important.

The passion between these three was off the charts. They were enthralled with each other and couldn’t get enough other. It was hot and their passion burned bright. I loved how they fought so hard for each other, not just in the bedroom but out of it. Their willingness to fight for each other, made their bedroom passion that much hotter. It was amazing.

I’m really looking forward to reading more books from Lily Harlem!

Review: Contractual Obligation by Tymber Dalton

Contractual Obligation is another great story by Tymber Dalton.

Harper is CEO of the family company. Her dad has warned her, get a personal life or he’ll take the company back over from her. So, Harper decides to get a personal life, on her terms! She hires a new Executive Assistant that’s young, hot and single. As part of his job, he’s to act like her boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Doug is in love with Tate. But Doug’s parents are about to lose their home. So, he takes Harper’s job and leaves Tate. When Harper finds out about Tate, she send Doug off to England and hires Tate. She’s determined to right the wrong she inadvertently made.

However, Tate has other plans. And he pulls Doug in with him.

This was a great story. It was easy going, not much angst and of course we got our HEA!

Of course, as with other Tymber Dalton books, we got some very steamy M/M action, some MMF action and some good old-fashioned spanking! Doug is a take-charge kind of guy and he’s determined to take care of Tate and Harper.

One of the things I really liked about this story was the interaction between the guys and Harper. Harper is a self-confident, strong, independent CEO. She’s in charge of her company and she does it well. Doug and Tate take charge in the bedroom, but NEVER interfere with her business savvy. They leave the company to her and support her. They take care of her outside the boardroom. It was nice to have a woman who could take care of business and the men in her life didn’t interfere. They didn’t feel a need. They didn’t step in, they didn’t offer up unsolicited advice, they trusted her to do what she did best, run the company.

She, in turn, trusted them to take care of her outside the office. They did it exceptionally well!

Now, I’m off to find another Tymber Dalton book I haven’t read yet!

Review: Menage on 34th Street by Elise Logan and Emily Ryan-Davis

Menage on 34th Street is short and very powerful story.

Kat and Liam have been married for 10 years. Right before they got married their friend, Hunter, left for the Marines. 10 years ago he turned down an offer to be with them. Now he’s back and Liam and Kat want Hunter in their lives.

Liam and Kat obviously have a strong relationship. It’s open and they communicate well. But things come to a head when Kat finds out something Liam kept from her 10 years ago.

Hunter throws a whole new mix into things. Not just because he’s going to be the third in the relationship, but he’s a Marine. A career Marine. It’s everything to him. Being in this unconventional relationship could jeopardize everything.

This story has some amazing smexy scenes. Limits are pushed, boundaries are tested and they get down and dirty. We get all combinations possible in this story with the three of them. There’s not any stone left unturned.

But on top of the hot smexy scenes we have some emotional turmoil. One of the things I really liked about this story was Elise Logan and Emily Ryan-Davis’ ability to put so much into such a short story. Not only did she pack a lot into this story she dealt with the very difficult problems that come when adding a another person into a relationship. It’s not just adjusting to each other when there are three involved, it’s adding in the stigma of a non-traditional relationship. We also have the added stress of Hunter being a Marine. That throws a whole new set of variables to be dealt with.

Elise dealt with these problems very matter of factly in the story. There wasn’t any glossing over of potential problems. While we are left with a happy ending it’s not necessarily a HEA. However, I’m more than happy with the HFN we have.

I’m so intrigued with this trio that I’m really hoping we get another story about Liam, Kat and Hunter.

Blog Tour: Travis by Nicole Edwards

OH. MY. GOD. I seriously thought my e-reader was going to burn up reading this one. It was so unbelievably HOT HOT HOT!

When we ended Zane, we were left with Gage introducing us to Travis’s wife. Travis starts with giving us a little background into how and why Gage brought Kylie to Travis. And I must say, Gage was a total asshole for what he did! I was calling him all kinds of names for that!

This roller coaster of a story left me breathless, cursing, amazed and dumbfounded all at the same time.

As I was reading Travis I ran through an entire range of emotions. My emotions went something like this…

Awww…
Dammit!
Bastard!
Asshole!
*sniffle*
Really?
WTF?
Awww….
Hang tough….
Yay!
Dammit!
Awww…

And on…. And on…. And on….

To say it was a roller coaster is an understatement!

No matter how hard some of this was to read, it was worth every single twist and turn. My heart broke, mended, shattered, mended. I loved it!  This has to be one my favorite series!

The romance is sweet, the passion is hot and the sex is unbelievable! I’ve been dying for this story ever since Zane. There were some teasers in Zane that left me breathless. What happens in Travis is about 10 times hotter and more breathtaking that what we saw in Zane!

There are some references to incidents and people in the Club Destiny series. I have not read the Club Destiny series and it did not prevent me from enjoying this one at all. In fact, it just made me want to read that series more than I already did!

I do recommend you read the Alluring Indulgence series in order. Some things happen in Kaleb that impact the story in Travis. Even if you haven’t read Kaleb, you’ll still enjoy Travis.

Now, on a side note. In this series, they have a friend, Beau. I think I’m falling in love with him. Now, he’s not a Walker boy, but I sure do hope I get to see him get his HEA!

Find it on GoodReads!
