Review: UnAttainable (UnDeniable #3) by Madeline Sheehan

This is what I want in a story. The Unpredictableness that Madeline is a genius on. You think you know the Horsemen after UnD and UnB but you don't know the half of it. You think you know how the story might go but Madeline puts us in check and says, "Bitches please, you think I was gonna give it to ya easy? I'm gonna give it to ya raw, hard and non stop." And I'm left here standing to say that she does. Here's my warning. Take heed. You will be shocked. Leave your morals(again) at the door. Leave judgement to haters. If you are a true fan then keep an open mind on everyone and everything. Every action and word spoken is for the love of the club, family and the future of the Hell's Horsemen.

This series is not an easy one and it's not for everyone. There's rape, death, killing but there's also love and laughter. I've said it before. The Hell's Horsemen are not good guys only to the eyes of the ones they know and love. We get the past, present and a glimpse into the future. How will the future go? Who knows and I'm not guessing cause I'd be wrong. Again.

A little insight to the characters...

Cage. We all know him as Deuce's son and a man whore. You think you know him but you don't. Changes are coming for him whether he's ready or not.
Tegan. She's a fire breathing dragon who has huge cajones (balls). She lives in the past when the future is right in front of her.
Dirty. BE PREPARED. His story is NOT pretty. We get into his past and it's brutal and ugly. He is the way he is because of it. You have to have an open mind with him. The way he thinks will gut you. His actions will slay you. His future...
Ellie. A beautiful flower that will show her beauty to the one who needs it most.
Deuce. Got damn the man.

All the characters in the alphabet are in the story. I'm not here to tell you when and where they pop up. You will be surprised and shocked. You will feel elation and sorrow. You will just FEEL. This is what an author should do. Make a reader step out of their comfort zone, put you in another persons shoe and make you think would you do anything different.

I speak truth. This is the best one yet. I found no fault in nothing and no one. The storyline was not what I expected. The characters are not what I thought them to be. Madeline takes us into a darker side of the Hell's Horsemen but there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. You will shed happy and sad tears so have tissues in handy. Like I said in the opening paragraph, keep an open mind with everything and everyone. And if you can't, ARGO FUCK YOURSELF.

Jerk of My Dreams #24

Jerk. Asshole. Douchenozzle. Admit it- you hate to love the jerks. That alpha male character who is so arrogant and rude but sexy as hell. That foul mouthed douche bag of a man who rocks your traitorous heart. We've all read them and we've all liked them to some extent. In real life you wouldn't touch the man with a ten foot pole. But in the fictional world? Nothing can stand in the way! Everyone would be lying to themselves if they didn't admit that the meaner the man, the further we run... Towards them! *sigh*

That's what this weekly meme is about- those jerky delicious men! Each Friday this meme will go up, and you can share your jerk anyway you want: review, interview, lines and quotes, giveaway of a book. However you want! All you have to do is sign up HERE and follow the linky. Any time you comment on someones post, leave your link so that person can comment back.

Welcome to the wonderfully offensive, ever mind blowing, fucked up biker world created by none other than Madeline Sheehan.

This is how I get when Madeline releases one of her books...

I'm serious.

Firstly, Unattainable is not for the faint of heart. Well, none of the books in the series really are, but this one most of all, I think. It has a scene that left me cringing, squeezing my ass in pain and holding my breath. My eyes were buggin'.

Madeline sure loves to plow down those imaginary lines that aren't ever supposed to be crossed!

Now that I got that out of the way, Unattainable will surely be another winner among fans!

It was packed with:

- One juicy drama situation after another. (Be still my heart)

- A feisty little redhead that never knows when to shut her mouth. (I can't even talk because I never know when to either)

- One foul mouthed, take no shit asshole guy that was so delectable beyond words that you can't help but want him. (I have no comment here other than PERFECTO!)

- And a bunch of other stuff I can't even begin to comprehend. (I totally can, but you just need to read the book to see)

- An unpredictable, make me sweat, storyline. (Don't even try and figure it out. Just read)

- Sex, sex, and more hot sex. (You do realize this is Cage's book, right?)

Roughly shake all that together, pour it into a shot glass and what do you have?

Well, that is, once the book actually picked up. To be honest, the first 30% of this book was quite boring for me. *hears gasps* Yes, boring. I felt like I was reading the biographies of all the original characters and then some new ones. I get the need for a little recap of the past stories and such, maybe building for the next few books, but this was too much.

It got to the point where I was turned off and didn't want to read anymore. I was really feeling let down and a bit upset about it truthfully. I kept thinking to myself how utterly amazing her first books are, the plot, the characters, and how I loved them so, so hard. And then it hit me...

No way is Madeline going to do me dirty like this. Buck up old chap and keep reading!

And so I did.

Once the ball finally got rolling, IT ROCKED MY WORLD.

Again.
And Again.
AND AGAIN!

Seriously? Where does she come up with this stuff?

Cage and Tegen are one heck of a couple that, I swear, live to push each others buttons as much as possible. How I loved watching it happen too! And Honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way. Nothing like a little excitement in the relationship, right? They're perfect together. I wish there were more book couples like them, it's my absolute favorite kind of couple to read and I can never find it.

I'm not one to post pictures of characters, but seriously, this is Cage to a T.

Madeline's writing not only kept me literally glued to my kindle, but it's also improved so much since the last book. I noticed a big difference in her writing style this time and I must say, I feel like a proud mother hen in a strange way. Not that it really makes sense, I'm pretty sure she's older than me, but I read Undeniable when it first came out and before a lot of people did, and WOW. Just wow.

So while Unattainable wasn't my favorite in the series (that goes to Unbeautiful...my god, that book), I really can't complain. Even with my minor little issue, I still enjoyed the hell out of it and cannot wait for the next book to come out! What a doozie that's going to be...

In the end, I LOVED IT.

On a side note: I want to kick Deuce's ass. He's getting to be a mean grump in his old age.

"Lean into me." *sigh*

ARC Review: Unbeautifully by Madeline Sheehan

Unbeautifully (Undeniable, #2)

THAT is how it's DONE.

SWEETBABYJESUSMOTHEROFALLGODS.

"Writing this book beat my fucking ass, raped me, threw me down a flight of stairs, dragged me out into traffic, let me get smacked around by a couple of semis, then left me naked and bleeding in a sewer full of garbage." -Madeline Sheehan

Yup! That about sums up how I feel! NO. FUCKING. JOKE.

Madeline Sheehan did me dirty.

And I loved it. Like love LOVED it.

Unbeautifully is one of the most angst ridden books I think have ever read. And damn, how it felt so good. So amazingly damn good. There must be something wrong with me if I like the way pain feels. This book pretty much sucked the life out of me. If I could give Unbeautifully book more than 5 stars I would- and I hardly ever say that. In fact, I want to lick Madeline's face when I get to meet her.

Don't judge. You will too. Mark my words.

I LOVED Undeniable, it's clearly evident in my review, but this one tops Undeniable for me. Unbeautifully more RAW, more GRITTY, and more EMOTIONAL than ever before. How is that even possible, you ask? Trust me, it is! There were times when I thought, Oh hell no! He did not just go there! but he did and I can't even complain. My only complaint is that I want more...like now!

I don't think I have ever read a book so fast in my entire life! There was no way that I was going to be able to put Unbeautifully down once I started. NO ONE will be able to.

I'll be back in a few to review this. I need to pour my usual drink which is a 7&7- but I'm leaving out the ginger ale tonight. Honestly? I feel like a crack head right now who needs its next fix!

I don't even know where to begin! My mind is running a thousand miles a minute, my stomach is doing back tucks and I have the shakes. There were times that I'd bust out laughing, and times I was sick to my stomach. Not a dull moment while reading this book.

Unbeautifully picks up right where Undeniable left off. AND. IT DOES. NOT STOP. It keeps going and going and going until the very end. Just when you think you've seen it all, BAM! the story takes a turn and you're like, W.T.F..

Madeline's style of writing is one I have never seen before. It's provocative and abrasive yet sexy. She doesn't hold back, and for me, it doesn't get much better than that. She says it like it is which is why I think I love her books- and I don't love books often.

What was so great about this book is that all the characters from the past are present. I love when that happens, and not just making a cameo either. They have full on parts. Deuce fans can relax! He has a huge part in this book. We get to see more of Deuce and Eva's story, which was extremely emotional to read. Talk about heart aching and gut wrenching! I wanted to cry for them.

Oh Cage... *sigh* How I cannot wait for your story and that little spitfire who I just know you're going to be paired with.

Kami and Cox?

They are a hot mess of epic proportions. The woman is always screaming at him. I was ready for her to punch him at some point! But watching Cox be so in love with her was something else. Crazy? Probably. I found myself busting out laughing quite a few times with them when they came onto the pages. Hysterical! They might be a hot mes together, but they work and that's what matters. Loved them! They counteract the pain and sorrow with humor which creates a nice balance throughout this story.

But don't worry! Even with so much going on with other characters, this is very much Danny's story...as well as Ripper's and ZZ's...? I can't say much, only that this needs to be read!

Ripper is a deeply scared man inside and out. He's imperfect and doesn't believe he deserves Danny, yet there is no denying what he feels for her. I love flawed heroes. It means they come with baggage and add drama to the story, which is what I love. He's fierce and loyal to those around him but when Danny comes into the picture he falls for her fast. They have this forbidden kind of romance going on which adds adrenaline to the story. Danny and Ripper are H.O.T. together, but when Ripper makes a hasty decision (which I wanted to kill him for), Danny is left to pick up the pieces. And oh god, did it hurt. It hurt so freaking bad. I hated some of the choices she made... They hurt! Uggghh!

Madeline really knows how to get under the skin and pinch and pull on every nerve in the body. And truthfully, isn't that what we all look for in our reads? That feeling, that emotion that takes hold and runs wild, unable to to know where it's leading us? It's raw and uncut, and honestly it doesn't get much better than that. There wasn't a minute that went by that I thought this book needed more or that the story was lacking in any way. It is filled to the top with a very moving plot that made me ache and rejoice at the same time. I was in near shock and then near crying thinking, Good God, Why! Why did that happen? Yet, in some strange Madeline way, it all works out perfectly. It's not so far fetched because in a biker world, this is how it goes down. Like I said, real and raw and just right.

Favorite Quotes:

"Look at me, Danielle."- Ripper

Each time Ripper uttered those words, I melted a little more.

Review: Unbeautifully by Madeline Sheehan

“No sooner met but they looked,
No sooner looked but they loved,
No sooner loved but they sighed,
No sooner sighed but they
Asked one another the reason,
No sooner knew the reason
But they sought the remedy…”

-William Shakespeare

I don’t believe in fate. I firmly believe that life is what you make of it, that life will react to your actions and that your final destination has nothing to do with destiny but instead everything to do with the choices you make along the way.
With one exception.
Love.

Silence. That is all that surrounds me once I finished reading the last page of UnBeautifully because….

1.) It is 2:00a.m. in the fucking morning.

2.) My whole being is so damn full of emotions that I fear that if I should cry, shout, run around naked playing the trombone and profess my undying loyalty and love for Madeline in such a sweet vulgar way, that I will be pimping new bracelets which would be provided by the lovely local law enforcements.

Wow! Son of a motherless goat that was fanfuckin’ragingcrazyBLOWMYMINDtastic!! (Yes that is all one word!)

UnBeautifully was Beautifully written and done so perfectly well that I am pronouncing Madeline as a fucking GENUIS! A Beautiful, loving, sexy, crazy, Russian looking, Queen of Vulgaria GENUIS!!

I’m not going to go on about the storyline because I truly…TRULY feel like I just can’t do it justice and knowing my fucking luck I will put a spoiler in there and have y’all kicking and probably murdering my ass. So I will say this…

UnB picks up where UnD leaves off and if y’all wanted more raw, real, angst, love and heartache then y’all are going to cream y’alls breeches because Mad delivers big time. UnB will have you laughing your fucking ass off, heart bursting with love, heart shattering when *** and *** happens, shocked because *** & *** have something going on, wanting to kick some major ass on ***, crying and hoping that *** & *** will be okay.

All the characters are fucking amazing (even the crazy ass character ***. Straight up cray cray!). We not only get Ripper and Danny’s story but others as well. I am so looking forward to Cage and Tegen’s book (is it ready RC?) and I so wish Kami and Cox were real and had their own reality show because I would so watch that shit.

If UnDeniable didn’t leave you having biker lust/fever than I can promise you this…you will have it so fucking bad after UnBeautifully.

*I am tempted to get Mad’s face tattooed on my back with her name going around my neck. And instead of tears tattooed on my face, I will get mini shanks. One with the initials UFG & the other with RC with a Hello Kitty design.*

Until next time…assjuice guzzlers

Happy Reading :)

Lovingly,

UFG!!

Review: Undeniable by Madeline Sheehan

Raw

Dirty

Gritty

A love story that lasts a lifetime and it’s not pretty. There’s no flowers, no dates, no bashful looks, and no tender touches. Everything in this book is intense.

Deuce and Eva met with Eva was young and visiting her dad at Riker’s Island. Duece was visiting his dad. Eva was 5, he was 23. Over the next 25 years they came and went into each other’s lives. Each time, one of them walked away hurt, either emotionally, physically, or both.

Eva’s life was anything but typical. Her childhood was spent at elite prep boarding schools and hanging out with her dad’s motorcycle gang. That gang would do anything for her. She was theirs.

Deuce was like Eva. He grew up around his dad’s motorcycle gang. The difference, Eva was cherished and Deuce was not. Deuce grew up thinking he wasn’t worth loving.

Frankie came to live with Eva and her dad. Her dad raised Frankie with her. Frankie was psychotic, obsessive, and completely unstable. He was also obsessed with Eva.

Kami was Eva’s friend. They’ve been friends since Kindergarten. Her life should have been a dream. It wasn’t.

What do they all have in common? They’re all looking for love. They want someone to love them, comfort them, keep them safe. Some of them will find it, others will not. Some are willing to die for it.

There was nothing easy or gentle about this book. It was hard hitting, gritty and raw. I loved every minute of it! Madeline Sheehan painted world that not many of us will ever see. It’s a hard life. If you’re not prepared for it, it will eat you up and spit you out. It may do that even if you are ready for it.

My heart broke for Eva over and over. She knew what she wanted. She knew what would make her happy. Every time she thought she was going to get it, it was all ripped away from her. Deuce just couldn’t get it together. He was an ass, a jerk, and total d-bag. But you couldn’t help but love him. I look back and wonder why I like him so much. It can’t be helped.

Undeniable is a wonderful story. But don’t go into thinking you’ll get tender touches and romantic dinners. There’s not one traditional romantic scene in this story. So, what will you get? Human life in all it’s raw, dirty, gritty glory.

Review: Undeniable by Madeline Sheehan

I cursed in the review. You've been warned.

Undeniable is rude, crude and uncut- and you can't get much better than that.

I've always believed that things happen for a reason, and the prologue for this story just made me love it even more.

Oh man...
This story...
ROCK.MY.WORLD.

Seriously.

Holy Hot Damn did I freaking love this book! Good Lord was I was addicted to it! I loved it and loved it some more! I never wanted it to end. Talk about devouring a book in record time!

This is the book I've been looking for for some time now. A few months ago, I asked a some friends if they have a book they could recommend that's similar to the song Love The Way You Lie Part 2. I wanted intense raw emotion, I wanted it to feel real, and I wanted it to be told like it is- no beating around the bush.

Undeniable is that book. Now I need to get on my hands and knees and thank my friend, Rosalind, for telling me about it. It's EXACTLY what I wanted.

And I'm going to read it again. Like now.

Deuce. Oh Deuce. You are the Jerk of My Dreams. That's right. No one can hold a candle to you, buddy. You are what I look for in my reads- a total asshole alpha male from head to toe who you can't help but love. And that's a good thing.

Deuce met Eva very early in her life. It was completely innocent when they met, trust me. It wasn't anything sexual, but as time progressed and Eva grew into a woman, she was woman who knew what she wanted. It was just by chance, really, as fate would have it, that Deuce and Eva would find their way back to each other and many times over the course of nearly two decades. And fate can be a cruel bitch let me tell you! When they're together it's so damn good and at the same time it was so damn bad; it's fucked up really. They've caused so much destruction in each others lives, it's something they have no control over. They have a connection that can't be broken, no matter what. It takes a strong woman to be able to handle what Eva had to endure in her life, but it wasn't just with Deuce.

Enter Frankie, a troubled boy Eva's father took in to care for. Her father, also known as "Preacher" basically the King of bikers, knew Frankie needed help, but he didn't know the depth of help he needed. It was sad. Eva and Frankie developed an attachment kind of relationship with each other quite early on. For Eva it was purely platonic, but not for Frankie. Frankie loved Eva the moment she kept his nightmares and temper at bay.

Frankie is a loose cannon. He's extremely possessive and has some attitude! He's a fucking lunatic and my heart went out to him. Frankie is the type who doesn't take no for any answer. He handled it from Eva for years until he could no longer take it anymore. He took what he felt he was entitled to, and I was shocked. I was shocked because he loved Eva so much and to hurt her like he did...I just couldn't believe it. Their love is a love that runs deep between them so I understand why Eva went through with it until the end when she found out some startling news. I could not believe the length Frankie went to to always have Eva by his side! It blew my mind!

It wasn't just Deuce and Frankie who were part of Eva's life. There were so many other characters who just made this story THAT GOOD. Kami is the best friend anyone could ask for. That girl is so cool! Then we have Chase, who I came to have a love/hate relationship with. He's smart and cunning and did what he had to do to get to Eva. It was ruthless but Eva became almost addicted to Chase and I could see why. I really enjoyed Chase's character a lot. He knew how to rattle Kami and Eva and the banter between them all was fun to watch. Let's not forget about all the biker boys too. Ahh...they were great company to have! Never a dull moment with them!

This book took me on a wild ride! One minute I'm high and the next I'm coming down hard. There were a few parts that had me feeling sad inside. I understand why things happened the way that they did, but it just hurt. There is a strong pull with all the characters of this book so when one thing happens it hits hard. I loved every single page of the story and was hooked from the moment I read the first line. I couldn't get enough and I hope the author does more with the side characters of this story.

The only issue that I really had with this book was that the children were there to witness so much. They watched and heard the heated arguments, the vile words and all that comes with having bikers around. The reason why it was difficult for me is because the author didn't sugar coat those scenes at all. Not one bit. It's raw and it's real and I know because I grew up around bikers too. My father has been a biker long before I was born and the relationship between Deuce and Eva is eerily similar to my parents. There were loud fights, lit cigarettes being thrown, glass being broken on more than once occasion, and parties. Madeline must've been exposed to this kind of life because I can't imagine someone would know this unless they've lived it. I think my issue is more of a personal one and would rather not read the scenes with the children since it brings back memories, but then again it wouldn't have been as realistic as it was. It's the life you're dealt and you have to learn to live with it and that's what Deuce and Eva did. This book is one I won't ever forget.

As crazy as it sounds, with all the drama and knots in my stomach and my heart racing as fast as the speed of light, I LOVED THIS BOOK! It's AWESOME and I can't wait to read it again. This book is easily one of the top favorite books I've read this year. All of my top books have been vastly different from each other yet all made such an impact on me.

Seriously.It.was.delicious. I feel like I'm in a daze over it.
