I always know when I pick up a Jessica Ingro book that I am going to be on one hell of a ride, whether that ride is sexual, angst filled, emotional, or kindle throwing.  Once again Ms. Ingro didn’t disappoint with Take Me There.  I am not going to review each book because that would be a rather long review and because these are short stories, and I wouldn’t want to give anything away.  I am going to keep this very short and very sweet instead.

Take Me There took me there, I was loving each and every word I read and was left hot and bothered more than once.  This is a sexy read people, one that this author is known for.  If you are looking for a hot read, one that will raise your temperature to match that of outside then Take Me There is one you have got to read.  Jessica Ingro, congrats on yet another amazing book!

“Now what?” He stopped his pacing and asked.

His unexpected question caught me off guard and it took me several seconds to answer him. “I don’t know, Matt.”

“Yes, you do. You know exactly what I want to hear.” He stalked towards me with a glint in his eyes that had me swallowing hard.

“No, I don’t.”

“Tell me what I want to hear.” His lips teasingly glided across my cheek and down my jaw.

“I can’t,” I said weakly.

“Yes you can. Tell me, Miranda.”

I closed my eyes when his breath fanned across my cheek. I was so afraid of making another wrong decision. What if our time had passed? What if we were just meant to be a really great memory?

“Tell. Me. Dammit, just fucking tell me. You have to be the one to say it.”

“What do you want to hear? That ever since I saw you again, all I’ve wanted to do is jump your damn bones?”

Beyond done with his tormenting, I brought out the sass, hoping it would make me seem stronger than I really was. Because inside I was ready to crumble at his feet and sob like a baby. Too many emotions were swirling inside of me.

His lips rested against my ear as he chuckled softly. “Did you just say jump your bones?”

“Oh shut up!” I pushed his shoulders as hard as I could but he barely moved at all.

When his laughs at my attempt to manhandle him waned, he looked at me considerately before murmuring, “That’s a perfect idea.”

Before the words were fully out of his mouth, I found myself pinned against the wall with his deliciously hard body against mine. His tongue plunged into my mouth, and his hands gripped my hips, pulling me against the bulge in his jeans.

“Fuck,” he breathed against my mouth before his lips took mine in another searing kiss. The last six years melted away right then, and there was nothing but us drinking from each other the way it was always meant to be.

“You okay over there?” It looked like he had ants in his pants.

“I’m hard as a fucking rock thinking about fucking you.” He growled low in his throat. The sound was so sexy, and mixed with his words, a new rush of wetness settled between my legs.

“I want that,” I responded a bit breathlessly.

“Yeah?”

I nodded and swallowed hard when his hand resumed petting me through my pants, but this time higher. Each pass of his finger against my swollen lips made me want to moan. I craved skin on skin contact with this man something fierce.

“Jax?” I breathed out when he started doing circular motions that had me widening my legs.

“Mmmmm,” he mumbled against the skin of my neck as his lips tormented me there.

“Can I touch you?” My hand tentatively reached out and pressed against the bulge straining behind his zipper. His hips rose up, pressing him more firmly into my hand.

Removing his hand from between my legs, resulting in a small protest slipping from my lips, he deftly undid his button and zipper. He pulled himself from the confines of his damp jeans and placed my hand on his rather large erection. He was hot, silky, and smooth. Sheer perfection in my hand.

He growled in the back of his throat as I softly explored him. His head fell back on the headrest and his hands tightened into tight fists on his thighs. I chanced a quick glance over at him. A look of pain flitted across his features, but when he shouted, “Holy fuck,” as I swiped my hand over the head, I knew it was an exquisite pain he was feeling.

Jessica Ingro is one of my go to authors, she has been ever since I read Love Squared (if you haven’t read it yet seriously pick it up and read it) so I was excited when I found out that she would be releasing another book.  Hell that cover alone made me want to lick my screen, I didn’t, or did I? I had to put off reading it because I had been dealing with some things and finally got enough time to squeeze it into my hectic schedule.

I wanted to absolutely love Man Candy but I ended up liking it just not loving it.  It literally kills me to type that sentence, trust me when I say that.  I loved Ben, I loved his manwhore brother Tanner, I loved the premise behind Man Candy, hell I love to drool over some sexy as sin male models, I loved the authors, but what I had a problem with was Clarissa.  For me, she took away from the book.  She was seriously at times just plain stupid in my opinion.  She couldn’t figure out her own mind if a big light up arrow with flashing lights pointed at the correct answer if she tried. Ben is what saved it for me.  He was a sweet guy who wanted to prove that he was good enough for her even when she would push him away.  He may have a past but trust me it’s not like you would think.  He portrays what we all hope some of these male models are deep down, good guys with hot bodies that have huge hearts and fall hard when they meet the right woman.  Sadly too many aren’t like that even in fiction.

Would I recommend Man Candy to my friends?  Yes I would because it is a really good book that will make you laugh, turn you on and show that you shouldn’t judge a book or man by his cover.

I turned to see her holding a drink out to me. While taking it from her grasp, I idly wondered if she was trying to tell me something about herself. Was she giving me a proposition with her drink choice? The question was on the tip of my tongue, but I swallowed it quickly along with a sip of brown liquid. Jägermeister. Nice. “What are you drinking?” I asked when she picked a big martini glass up from the table next to where we stood. “Mmmm,” she breathed after a sip. Licking her lips, her eyes rolled into her head and a look of ecstasy crossed her face. “Suck, Bang and Blow.” Something about the pout of her lips as she said it did dangerous things to my body. My muscles clenched and my dick twitched. “Oh yeah?” I croaked out past a suddenly dry throat. “Yep. It’s delicious and,” she leaned in conspiratorially before whispering in my ear, “I’m very good at it.” “I bet you are,” I murmured to her cleavage where my eyes had drifted down to. “I could show you,” she offered. Her hand stroked down my chest and slid underneath the waistband of my jeans. Even in my lust and drunken haze I knew she was making sloppy work of finding her target. It wasn’t as if it was a small one. I stepped back causing her hand to slip out of my pants. “I don’t think that’s such a good idea.” “Ben!” Meredith shouted to me, thankfully saving me from the protest I could see forming on the vixen’s lips. “What’s up?” I semi-slurred when I joined her a few feet away. “We were just discussing what type of sex toys men like to use in the bedroom. Of course we have the vibrator, the dildo, nipple clamps and the cock ring.” Meredith ticked each one off on her fingers. “We wanted to know what you thought of butt plugs and anal beads. Do you believe in starting out small and working your way up? Or just going for the gusto?” She blinked up at me in earnest when she finished her tirade. My head was spinning with thoughts of vibrators and cock rings. Was it suddenly really hot in here? “I... uh... I’m not sure what to say to that.” My hand automatically went up to loosen my collar and I belatedly remembered I wasn’t wearing a shirt. The women surrounding her burst out laughing at my uneasiness. “I forgot how easy it was to fluster you. Definitely not the dirty talker your brother is are you?” Meredith teased. “Well... um... in the heat of the moment sure,” I stammered. Taking a proffered drink, I sucked it back, completely uncomfortable with discussing my sex life with a bunch of random women. “You’re a good guy, Ben.” Meredith patted my face in a warm gesture and kissed my cheek. “Don’t ever change.”

ARC Review: Forever Your Concierge By: Jessica Ingro

From the moment she said hello, Travis Hamilton knew without a doubt that Maya Harris was the one. Knowing how hard it is to make a relationship work, he’s ready to fight for them—no matter what trials and tribulations come their way. But what do you do when the woman you're in love with refuses to move your relationship forward? When her secrets become too much to handle? How can you get her to trust you and take a chance on your future?

Maya Harris gave up on love a long time ago. Past experience dictated that what seemed too good to be true, most certainly always was. There’s something about Travis Hamilton though that pushes her to the brink of change—teetering on the edge of giving in to their love and planning on forever. But past mistakes always have a way of rearing their ugly head and putting your future at risk.

True loves and happily ever afters are anything but easy, and never a guarantee. Can love really overcome any obstacle? Can happiness truly come without any strings?

I’m going to start off by stating that in Love, Your Concierge I had serious issues with Maya and when I found out that Forever Your Concierge was going to be her story I will admit I was skeptical.  However, I haven’t been disappointed yet by anything Ms. Ingro has written so I went in hoping that I wouldn’t be disappointed this time either.  Well, the streak has continued because I really liked Forever Your Concierge and even started to like Maya but it wasn’t something that happened within a chapter or two, it took me the entire book to finally like her.  Gradually that dislike I have had since the previous book, was slowly chipped away and at times I felt horrible for what was going on in her and Travis’ life but a lot of it was because of her.

This isn’t a book that is about a married couple who have found their happily ever after.  No.  It is a book about a married couple, who deeply love each other, have gone through some of the hardest things that a couple could possibly deal with while at the same time trying to not break apart and lose the love they have for each other.  Pain, the past and secrets can destroyers of marriages, some are able to work through those things when others crumble from the strain.

Now is this book all depressing and pain?  No it is also sexy as hell with the sex scenes between Maya and Travis, it at times is funny and also sweet.  What it ends up being is a really good book that will pull at your heart, at times make you angry, and possibly could make you cry.  Jessica Ingro is an author that I have come to expect a book that will make me feel emotions, whether they be anger, sadness, happiness or love, I know that she will not disappoint and ladies and gentleman she nailed it once more!

Excerpt:
When the car pulled up to my building, Travis helped me out and followed me in and up to my third floor apartment. At the door, I extricated my keys from my purse and turned to face him. His eyes blazed as he looked down on me, making my palms sweat and my heart race in anticipation of our first official kiss.

When his head dipped, my breath caught. When his mouth touched mine, I instantly opened for him. When his tongue swept inside, I completely lost myself to the feel of it brushing mine as he explored me in the most sensual kiss I had ever had.

His hands came up to frame my face. His head tilted and he deepened the kiss. My toes curled as heat swept through my body with a blinding fierceness.

He broke the kiss far too soon and rested his forehead on mine. "Who knew a kiss could feel like this?"

"I know," I whispered. My eyes finally opening to take in his gorgeous face so close to mine.

"Let me stay tonight, Maya."

The idea was oh so intriguing, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. We barely knew each other, and I didn't want to move too fast.

"Let's take it slow, Travis," I whispered, afraid he would get mad and that would be the end of what promised to be something completely amazing.

"No longer the happiest man in the city, Maya," he informed me and my stomach dipped at the rough and raspy sound of his voice. "Happiest man in the world."

"Trav—"

"Goodnight, sweetheart. I'll call you tomorrow." He kissed my forehead and took a step back.

"Goodnight, Travis."

I opened my door and turned back to look at him in front of the stairwell. He had the most endearing expression on his face, and I was pretty sure I fell in love with him right then.

Blog Tour and Giveaway: Urban Love Prophecy by Jessica Ingro

This isn’t a story about a bad boy and a girl from the right side of the tracks. This is the story of a man and a woman discovering love is blind to how you grew up, who your friends are, and where you live. Love sees only the heart and soul of whom it belongs to. Someone once said that the best way to predict the future is to invent it. As a boy, Jayson Santiago made a vow to leave behind the projects where he grew up. He planned to conquer the world and find a woman who could not only hold it down, but also hold him up. Now he’s the reigning king of hip-hop, and while he has the professional success he always wanted, he’s missing the personal success he craves. Victoria Watson is the daughter of an oil tycoon who never wanted for anything. Circumstances have forced her out of her protective bubble and into the real world, where she struggles to make ends meet while finding a way to get back the only important thing in her life. Will they be able to make Jayson’s prophecy come true? Or will they be pushed past their breaking point? It isn’t easy to keep focused on the heart and soul of the one you love when you’re always being tested. Then again, the best things in life are always worth fighting for...

When I started this I was like cool, it’s going to be the bad boy from the streets falling for the pretty little rich girl.  What I read is so much more than just that.

Jay had it rough growing up, he did what he needed to not only to survive but help his single mother.  He pulled himself out from the projects and made it to the big leagues as a rapper and producer.  He still has that hardness that he got from the streets but under all the hard is the soft that has been hurt before that he protects.  He is an asshole at times, a major one, especially when he does certain things and doesn’t think about how that will affect Tori or their relationship.  I really want to put a beating on him a couple of times but then he would do something that would make me love him once more.

Tori grew up the rich girl, then had it all taken away.  She is going through her own set of issues when she first meets Jay, and tries at first to distance herself from the sexy as hell man.  I had a lot of respect for Tori, at first I honestly thought she might have seen Jay as her way to get the things she lost but I was quickly proven wrong.  She was the perfect fit for Jay, it just took him longer to truly open his eyes and appreciate her like he should have from the start.

Jay and Tori’s relationship was anything but a fairy tale romance.  It took work on both Jay and Tori’s part but what relationship is really all butterflies and rainbows all the time?  None that I know of.  What it was, is real.   People fuck up, fights happen and trust can be broken.  It is what happens afterwards those things happen is what heals a relationship.

Jessica Ingro never fails to deliver a story that makes you feel a variety of emotions that range from love to anger, angst to happiness, and laughter to tears.  I   felt all of those while reading Urban Love Prophecy.  I have yet to read one of her books that I didn’t devour in one setting and if she keeps writing like she is, that won’t change any time soon.  Add this one to your TBR lists people because it’s another 5 star book from Jessica Ingro and one that I loved.

When he was done speaking, he pulled back fractionally and stared into my eyes. Blue meeting green in an effort to communicate how genuine that statement was for him. My breath hitched, and I fought hard to swallow past the lump that was building in my throat. He said the most perfect things at just the right time. In that moment, I really wanted this man beyond just in my bedroom. I wanted him in my life. He leaned away and settled on my side of the booth, propping his foot up on the opposite side and stretching his arm along the back of the seat. “What other songs did you like? Or is it presumptuous of me to assume you liked more than one song on that CD?” I was grateful for the lighter topic, since the chemistry between us was starting to feel a bit combustible. “Not at all. I liked most of them, but ‘The Struggle’ spoke to me. I felt like you gave me a glimpse inside you. It was humbling to be given that opportunity. To hear how you struggled to be the son your mother would be proud of and the man that a woman would want to spend her life with. The man a daughter would want to call father. It was really very beautiful.” I watched as something passed over his face that was both breathtaking and raw. Before I had a chance to put my finger on what it was, it was gone. Replaced with a serious look that made me cringe a little. I wanted the playful Jay back. Not the one that appeared to be lost in thoughts, and not all of them good. “Although I have to say the song about fucking your best friend’s girl one night and then hitting an entire sorority the next was just as inspirational,” I deadpanned. “How did you possibly fit them in all in one night? Inquiring minds want to know.” I winked and hoped that would break the mood. It worked when he threw a fry from my plate at me. “Brat.” He laughed with a half grin on his face. “Really, though, is that true? Did you really have sex with that many women in the span of one night?” He looked uncomfortable for a split second before answering. “Maybe not all of them, but there were quite a few.” “Huh. So you’re a stallion then?” Growing up with horses I knew that stallions were often bred more than once in a day. If this story was true, I could imagine him going all night like a real thoroughbred. That thought was a little too much for my brain to comprehend. “I haven’t had any complaints. And I’m certainly hung like one.” “You know, they say the men who brag the most are the ones that shouldn’t be bragging.” “Oh, Tori. Now you’re testing me. If you want me to show you, baby, it can be arranged.”

Blog Tour and Giveaway: Love, Your Concierge by Jessica Ingro

LYC Blog Banner

A concierge is the person that the rich go to when they have jobs to be completed that they don’t have time to do.  Elizabeth is a concierge to some of the richest in the city.  She is good at what she does, she loves it, this business is her baby and she is proud of it.  Business and pleasure do not mix, she doesn’t get involved with her clients, well that is until Grant Morgan pursues her and weakens her defenses.

Grant knew he had his work cut out for him when he set his sites on Elizabeth, he makes sure that she ends up working for him just so that he can get to know her better.  He is known as the playboy lawyer, always seen with a new woman on his arm at every function.  Elizabeth learns quickly how many women are a part of Grant’s life, thanks to the errands his assistant has her run.

Elizabeth is stubborn, holy crap is this woman stubborn.  While I can understand some of her reasons behind that, there are others when I wanted to smack her.  She not only supports herself, she takes care of her mother as well and she can’t afford to lose any clients especially by becoming involved with one.  She is instantly attracted to Grant and she fights it but when Grant breaks through her defenses you can see how much he really does try to show how much he wants to help her and take care of her.

Grant hasn’t opened himself up to any women emotionally since his ex broke his heart.  Elizabeth is different, he shares things with her that he hasn’t with others and just wants to take care of Elizabeth.  He backs away from her until he can’t stand it anymore and makes her his.  Grant has people in his life, his family and an ex, that try to sabotage their relationship, and they almost succeed.  When Grant believes that Elizabeth has betrayed his trust he is cruel and won’t listen to anything she has to say.

I liked Love, Your Concierge, but I had some issues with it as well.  Elizabeth’s best friend and employee was at times a massive bitch and would get involved when it wasn’t her place too, and she also kept things from Elizabeth.  Elizabeth at times really got on my nerves and while I can understand that she wanted to keep a relationship separate from her business, she could have handled things a hell of a lot better than she did.  Grant wasn’t a saint either, I really wanted to beat his ass for what he pulled as well.  When the truth comes out Grant does win me back but he should have pulled his head from his ass way before then.

Love, Your Concierge is the first book in the new Concierge series by Jessica Ingro.  Ms. Ingro is one of the new authors that I discovered that I am truly beginning to love.  She knows how to tug at your emotions, make you so pissed off one minute and the next make you cry the next.  I am curious to see where she is going to go with this series and am looking forward to more in the future.
