Release Blitz: Charge To My Line By Lani Lynn Vale

You’re the Charge…

Bad Boy. Screw-up. Good for nothing. Hero. Angel. These were all words Grayson ‘Torren’ Trammel had heard whispered behind his back over his lifetime. What he hadn't heard was ‘quitter,’ and he’d be damned if some little rehab chick, with her beautiful brown hair, and hot, sassy little mouth was going to label him as such.

To My…

Tru knows Grayson’s not for her. He’s too bad. Too hot. Too demanding. Too taken.

She tells herself that almost daily as she helps Grayson get back into fighting shape after a horrific accident nearly ripped his life away from him. That had taken the life of one of the men in his MC.

Grayson is everything her father warned her about, but there’s just something about him that intrigues her. That makes her want more.

The man's a firefighter. How bad could he be?

Line…

Apparently, he could be way worse than bad, but he could also be so very, very good. Something Tru realizes, rather quickly, when the two can no longer fight the pull that’s between them.

Now there’s only one word she wants to hear when it comes to him: his.

Okay I am just going to say it. The Heroes Of Dixie Wardens MC series is now cemented on my favorite series list, and this list is one that isn’t easy to be put on.  I may like a lot of what I read, but for me to like each and every book of a series is rare, but when that happens they get added to my favorite list.  That is exactly what has happened with this series and Charge To My Line made that happen.

I loved the banter between Torren and Tru, and especially how she umm jumps him from the start is something that I loved.  The tension between them was intense and to say that it was smoking hot would be an understatement.  Holy hell I always knew firemen were sexy, but good god damn these guys can make women’s panties burst into flames from how hot these guys are.   If your kindle starts smoking you know why.

I am going to say this again, I already told the author this after reading this that I will take one for the team, for her to make me a character in her next book just so I can beat a certain bitch’s ass that needs an attitude adjustment, one that comes by my fist…  If you have read this series you will know exactly who I am referring to.

Lani LynnVale, you have made this reviewer completely fall in love with these guys.  I am anxiously looking forward to what you have planned next.  I am not sure if this will be the last of this series or if there will be more in the future, but it is safe to say I will be reading them if there are, that is for damn sure.

Review: Halligan To My Axe By: Lani Lynn Vale (The Heroes of Dixie Wardens MC #2)

You’re the Halligan...

Kettle had it all. Until he didn't.
He lost it all in a moment. One heart stopping, soul shattering moment, and there wasn't a single thing he could do about it.
From that day forward, he stayed away from relationships.
Then he responded to a possible fire and there she was, rocking his world when he didn't want it to be rocked.

To My...
Adeline was just a schoolteacher. She lived a boring life.
Until she stole something.
And it didn't have anything to do with the sexy firefighter’s heart.
Oh, she stole that, too, even if he didn't want it to be stolen.

Axe...
Kettle didn't realize just what kind of trouble Adeline was in until it nearly ripped her from his life.
There was no way anything was taking that away from him.
Not again.
One man was about to see up close and personal what fury looked like on the face of The Dixie Wardens MC’s enforcer.

You know how sometimes the first book in a series can be amazing but the next book just doesn’t live up to the first?  Well, that sure as hell isn’t the case because in my opinion, Halligan To My Axe, was even better than Lights To My Siren.  I laughed more, I cheered more for both Kettle and Adeline, I was wetter thanks to Kettle and his hose (yeah for this series the horrible puns are just going to happen, I can’t help it).

I knew I would love Kettle just because of his reaction to one of Adeline’s umm pets.  I fell in love with him even more after I learned about his past, and when he messes up and hurts Adeline, it was how fast he knows that he messed up that makes me forgive him and love him even more.  I honestly had tears in my eyes about Kettle’s past and when he suffers another horrible event my heart broke for him.

Adeline and her twin sister had me cracking up because if I closed my eyes I could picture these two not only picking on each other but on others as well.  Adeline has a huge heart, not just for her sister but for Kettle and his MC family as well.

I honestly can’t get enough of these men.  Firemen are some of the bravest of the brave and my respect for them is sky high so it was a given that I would love Kettle.  Okay I am just a sucker for a man who overall is a great guy, who knows when he makes a mistake and will protect his woman with every breathe he takes.  This series has become one of my favorites and it is because these books are just heart warming, they make you feel good with a side of sexy man, are hilarious and leave you with a smile on your face when you are finished.

Review: Lights To My Siren By Lani Lynn Vale (The Heroes Of Dixie Wardens MC #1)

You’re The Lights...

Sebastian had one rule.

No women on the back of his bike. Period.

The one time he broke that rule, he killed the woman that was carrying his child.

Then comes Baylee Roberts. She makes Sebastian want to break every single rule he’d ever implemented. Hell, but she even makes him consider that dreaded H word. A helmet.

To My...

Baylee Roberts innocently walked into her bathroom never expecting that she’d find a man in there. It is her bathroom after all, and she lives alone.

From the instant he placed his hat on her head to protect her from the sun, Baylee’s mind becomes filled with thoughts of a certain biker.

She really shouldn't go there. There’s no telling what kind of dangerous things he does for The Dixie Wardens MC.

Siren...
Nothing is ever as easy as it should be. Their relationship’s one of them.

Baylee’s brother is a cop. Baylee’s father is a cop. Which inevitably means that Baylee’s going to have certain hang-ups about being with a man like himself.

Sebastian has a lot on his plate with his busy job as a firefighter, a single father, and the vice president of The Dixie Wardens MC.

Not enough, though, to keep him away from Baylee.
When a series of arsons rattle their hometown and puts Sebastian’s life on the line, Baylee finally realizes the only fire Sebastian can’t put out is the one inside her heart.

Be prepared to laugh your ass off, want to smack Sebastian upside the back of his head the next and wonder what Baylee is going to do next.  This entire series is based off some of my favorite things, firemen, cops, bikers and alpha males.  Yep you read that right, the MC’s members are all either firemen or cops and each one is a bossy alpha asshole at times and I L.O.V.E.D. loved it!

Sebastian, is the VP of the Dixie Wardens MC and a firemen.  Oh add on top of those responsibilities he is a single father to a son who  can crack you up just as quickly as the rest of these characters can.  Sebastian is a sexy, alpha male, who doesn’t let any woman on the back of his bike but when he meets Baylee, that rule is thrown out the door.  This is one man who knows how to work his hose. Yep I just went there lol.  Can he be an asshole?  Yes he can and while there is one point that I wanted to take his fire axe to his skull, he still makes me want him to wet me down to extinguish the flames.  Okay I will try to stop with the horrible puns for the rest of the review, key word is try so I am not making any promises people.

Baylee is a paramedic for a different town than the one that Sebastian works for.  She is kick ass at her job, even though she has ADHD, which in her line of work could be life threatening but she makes sure to focus and not lose sight of what emergency she is having to handle.  I just loved her character because even when there were times that she put herself down because of her ADHD she was still the perfect match for Sebastian.

I started this series because I needed to get caught up before I reviewed the upcoming latest release (my review for Keys To My Cuffs will post later this week), and now I am kicking myself in the ass for waiting as long as I have because I am hooked.  While this series is called an MC series, it’s not all in your face like most are.  It is almost like the MC is in the background and for once I liked that.  I love MC books but I loved how Ms. Vale focused more on the men’s careers and let that define them instead of a patch.  I think that fact, that the men had careers that saved peoples lives, had families and didn’t throw club whores in their woman’s faces made me absolutely love this series.  So if you like some smoking hot firemen, a quirky paramedic and some cops that could cuff and frisk me any time they want (I tried people I really did), then make sure you read Lights To My Siren and be prepared to laugh and swoon over these men.

Sultry Spring Saturdays: Brotherhood of Fire (Hearts on Fire #1) by Elizabeth Moore

"Spring is here and our literary wombs are ready to be impregnated by the seed of sexy sultry books."

HOT! HOT! HOT!

Hot Men
Hot Story
Hot Damn!

This was phenomenal! I loved every freakin’ minute of this story!

Elizabeth Moore did a wonderful job with not only the hot, erotic sex scenes, she brought out all the things that can, and will go wrong in a ménage relationship. Especially one involving three people who have never been part of a ménage before.

When Garrett and his wife Carrie decide to bring a third person into their bedroom, they pick Garrett’s best friend and mentor, John. John has loved Carrie from the moment he met her. But he kept quiet out of respect for Garrett and John. When Garrett offers the chance for them to be together, John says no, at first. Then he gives in.

They spend more than one weekend in bed together and slowly Carrie falls in love with John. How will Garrett handle Carrie and John being in love with each other? John decides to walk out and leave Carrie and Garrett together. He thinks this will make things better and make things easier on them.

I loved this. Ms. Moore didn’t pull any punches with this one. Fears, insecurities, fights, hurt feelings were all a part of this story. They didn’t just fall into each others lives without any problems. They had to work at it. And things didn’t always work the way they wanted or thought.

I’m looking forward to reading more of this series. Especially if they all involve HOT firemen!

Review: Burning Up (Smoke Jumpers #1) by Anne Marsh

Burning Up quickly caught my attention and kept it through the entire story. Jack and Lily are a hot couple and they’re caught up in a mystery that could end deadly.

Jack comes back to Strong at the request of his Nonna. They’re little town has an arsonist and it quickly becomes apparent to Jack, that Lily is the target. Lily fears her stalker has found her again and she’s scared. Jack moves in to take care of her and protect her.

Anne Marsh has created a hot story with some hot romance. Jack and Lily are explosive together and the romance between them burns up the sheets. The suspense is awesome. I really enjoyed watching Jack do everything he could to keep Lily safe while he tracks the stalker.

The final showdown between Jack and the stalker was HOT and burning up! I loved the suspense!

This is a great beginning to a new series and I’m looking forward to the rest of them.
