Review: All Of Me by K.E. Osborn

All of Me is the final book in the Trust Me? Trilogy. I was so excited about this book. I couldn’t wait to find out what happens to Jeni and Aiden. I was dancing in my living room when I finally got my copy of it. YAY!

All of Me picks up right where Love Me? leaves off. Jeni has survived a brutal attack by her ex. She’s feeling pressured from Aiden and his dad. It’s awful for her. So, she did the only thing she felt she could do. She left Aiden.

We start off right where you think we would. Aiden is depressed and missing Jeni. Jeni is depressed, missing Aiden and suffering from PTSD. After a few weeks, she picks herself up and goes to work for her mom. From there things fall apart.

We were so on track with this story. I was into, I was hooked and then I felt like we took a left turn. After weeks of depression, and her family talking to her, consoling her, trying to help her, it only takes a single conversation with a nurse she met in the hospital for everything to become clear to her. This is the only contact she’s ever had with this person outside of the hospital. Why did it all of the sudden click with her.

From there it felt like one convenient thing after another happened to make the story happen. I was so disappointed. It felt contrived in places.

Now, there were some awesomely funny things that happened in this story, most of them involving Sarah and Chris. Let’s just say I’ll never look at a maid or a sailor the same way again!

We also had some wonderfully romantic moments. The flowers on Monday. The proposal (two of them). The wedding. It was wonderful.

I do recommend this series. It’s a wonderful love story.

Review: Love Me? by K.E. Osborn

Love Me picks up right where Trust Me leaves off. Aiden is in jail. Jeni is despondent. She’s not eating, she’s sleeping all the time, and she’s having nightmares. She won’t let anyone in.

Aiden is doing everything he can to survive being in prison. Needless to say, he does get out of prison. I won’t tell you how or why, just know that he does.

However, they now have a new problem. Someone is targeting Jeni. They don’t know who and they’re doing everything they can to keep her safe.

Aiden is impressive. He does everything he can to protect Jeni from both his father and the outside threat.

But no matter what Aiden does, he can’t protect her from everything. Their love and Jeni’s trust is put to the ultimate test.

My heart broke for Jeni. She already had trust issues and with the events that happen to her, only makes it worse. I really wanted to smack everyone at the end of the book. Jeni has been traumatized and no one understand what she’s going through. They all force her into decisions she not ready to make!

We’re left with another cliffhanger. This one will break your heart. I’m ready for the last book in the trilogy. I have to know what happens!

Review: Trust Me? by K.E. Osborn

Trust Me is the story of Jenifer Taylor who gets hit by Aiden O’Connell, literally. Aiden is fascinated with Jenifer and set out to date her.

Jenifer has trust issues. Big ones.

Aiden has daddy issues. Big ones.

Jenifer is sweet, funny and generally a likeable person.

Aiden is generous, funny, hunky and rich.

They are an unlikely pair and make a great couple. Their biggest obstacles are Jenifer’s trust issues and Aiden’s dad. Yes, Aiden’s dad.

There are certain aspects that are typical of millionaire stories. He has a driver, fantastic condo, and takes Jenifer on whimsical fantasy dates. Even though these are typical of millionaire stories, it’s a wonderful story about two people learning to trust and love each other.

Jeni’s roommate Sarah was an awesome secondary character. Everyone should have a friend like her! The emails between Sara and Jeni were typical emails. They were funny, insightful and helped moved the story along.

The texting between Aiden and Jeni was great! It’s typical behavior and better than phone conversations!

I loved their romance and enjoyed being a part of it. The trials and tribulations they face are typical in many ways. But because of Aiden’s father and his status as a millionaire, there are some things he faces that are not typical. It added to the story.

We’re left with a cliffhanger. Aiden and Jeni have some real problems in their way. They have to fight through so much to be together.
