From the very first book in this series I was really wanting Mia and Cobra’s story because you could just tell that their relationship was strong even when it may have seemed weak.  I know that may not make sense but if you have read the rest of the series I think you will be able to understand what I meant by that without giving anything away.  When I found out about Gods & Monsters I jumped at the opportunity to sign up for the tour because I had a feeling this was going to be a damn good book, and it was and so much more.

I love how we get to see Mia and Cobra’s relationship from the beginning, how they from the very first touch were connected even when it was so wrong because of Mia’s age. We also get to see Cobra and Daemon’s relationship, how they acted towards each other and you can see why Cobra and Ryder hated him as much as they did. Mia and Cobra were the other half of each’s souls and you can see that as their relationship progresses and how they want to protect each other from pain. 

I knew deep down that this story was going to be emotional and at times possible harder to read than the rest because of Daemon’s involvement but what I honestly didn’t expect was to be wanting more of Daemon’s POV.  If Jani Kay were to write a book on Daemon alone I would read it because you know to understand the monster inside of him you need to understand his thoughts, why he was the way he was.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to read this series yet, please make time because you won’t be disappointed I guarantee you that.  Jani Kay has drawn me into the Scorpio Stingers MC world and I want more of these bikers right now.

Ryder and Jade’s story keeps getting better and better.  I absolutely LOVE this series.  It really is like a modern day Romeo and Juliet romance.  Ryder keeps proving that he is worthy of Jade and that he will take care of her and protect her.  He loves her, fully and completely and Jade loves him just as strongly.  These two have been tested by family members and the MC.  I was worried for a second that Ryder was going to prove me wrong about him, but once again he proved to be the guy I know deep down he is, the one perfect for Jade.  Even with the issues of her brother Harrison add to their relationship, they stay strong, their love is true and both just want to be happy.

Harrison has suffered.  He is bitter.  He wants to blame all bikers for the tragedy of his past.  He would rather burn in hell than to ever allow his baby sister to be in a relationship with a biker.  Plain and simple, he is a total asshole.  But, at the same time, he is hurting because of his past it molded him into who he is.  There seems to be a light in the darkness that has surrounded his light, that would be Eva, but she isn’t going to let him walk all over her. 

Eva knows that Harrison is damaged, but there is something about him that she just can’t walk away from.  She has her own past, one that is entwined with Harrison in more ways than one.  I love that while Eva doesn’t want to easily submit to a man, that she is willing to try because it is Harrison. 

I just can’t get enough of Ryder and Jade’s story and now add to that Harrison and Eva as well.  When I say this is turning into a modern day Romeo and Juliet romance that is exactly what it is.  Ryder and Jade have so many people against them but yet their love for one another is strong and keeps getting stronger.  I am anxiously awaiting for the next book, and this one was just released!  Ms. Kay please hurry and write more because this fan wants more of the Scorpion MCs right this minute!
