Blog Tour: End Game By Emersyn Vallis

Once upon time, there were two girls living their lives completely unaware of one another and the dangerous game they had been placed in…

Until Fate found them…

Fate saved them, made them stronger & with time, Fate brought them together to become friends rather than enemies…

Until a cruel Queen made her move, threatened the Knight,

And an innocent Pawn was sacrificed…

Now the game is in our hands…

Fate might have set us up for this… but we control the moves now…

And we have our own plan.

Revenge.
If you have not read the previous books in this series, please make sure that you do not just because you will need to know what has been happening but because this has become one of my favorite series that I have read this year so far.

You remember all of the things that made you laugh in the previous books?  The banter, the sass and smart ass remarks?  You remember the element of suspense that has drawn you in since the very first book, you know, what has kept you reading the Fate series since it drew you in during the first book?  Yes, you do?  Good then be prepared for even more when you read End Game

I am going to make this review short and sweet because I do not want to give absolutely anything away but I will say that Emersyn Vallis has ended this series perfectly.  I got hooked since book one when I originally began the series for review and I stayed hooked up until the final sentence, the final word.  I hope that we get more addicting series from Emersyn Vallis in the future because she has cemented me as a fan for life.  So go grab End Game and be prepared to not want to put it down once you start.

Emersyn Vallis is a first time author with Adjournment being the first book in the Fated Series. Currently residing on the east coast with her husband and three children she is typically mistaken for being quiet and reserved her friends often describe her as a spastic spider monkey and always the first to be there with her quick wit to pull you back up when you’re feeling down. After reading as a hobby for most of her life it wasn’t until she had discovered R. L. Mathewson’s ‘Neighbor from Hell Series’ and Tara Sivec’s ‘Playing with Fire Series’ that she came up with the idea to fuse comedy and suspense together and her passion for writing was born.

Emersyn Vallis is definitely an Author I will be watching for and can't wait to read more from her. ~ Swoon Worthy Books
Emersyn has done it again. I liked Adjournment but I loved Hanging Pawns and I for one can not wait for book three in the Fate series. Emersyn is fastly becomming my favourite indie author. ~ Amazon Customer
Emersyn Vallis has done a wonderful job on the Fate Series. Adjournment, Hanging Pawns, and now Sacrifice are definitely in my definite recommend list, and re-read list for 2014/2015 ~ Amazon Customer

Review: Sacrifice (Fate series #3) By Emersyn Vallis

For years my life was in a state of Adjournment…

Fate had constructed a plan to push me away… to save me…

There was a danger I never knew existed, one I had never sensed.

My family positioned themselves around me.

Like Hanging Pawns, they shielded me from it and I lived blissfully unaware… until now.

Now, I know there are rules to this game...

Sacrifices to be made in order to get to End Game.

What would I Sacrifice for one more moment... one last look? Touch? Kiss?

The answer is simple…

Everything.

First off if you haven’t read Adjournment or Hanging Pawns then seriously please read them first and then come back and read my review for Sacrifice, please.

Okay, let me take a moment and allow my very famous temper to scream out “Are you freaking kidding me right now come on damn it don’t leave me hanging like this!”  Okay while we are aware that the first two books have left us with cliff hangers, they didn’t get me this worked up as the ending of Sacrifice has.  Son of a bitch I threw my kindle across the room this time, luckily the author is one I love so I may find it in my heart to forgive her, maybe, well someday oh alright I will forgive her this time.

Now that my temper tantrum is over with I shall proceed.  Remember the funniness, angst and those questions we still have from the previous books?  Well more answers are given, this is another funny and angsty read.  We get more of Simon and Sydney and I loved every word that I read.  I am not going to go into detail because just in case you didn’t take my warning up top seriously I don’t want to spoil it for you.  Just know that if you didn’t love Simon before you will now, or at least I love him more because I already loved him.

I am beginning to think this author just can’t write a bad book because in my opinion, Sacrifice has not only topped both of the other books but blew them away with a force so destructive you can’t believe it.  Alright, maybe that is a tab bit of an overstatement but seriously it really did exceed the first two books.  I can’t wait for the fourth book to release.

Review: Hanging Pawns (Fate Series #2) By: Emersyn Vallis

We all have choices in life… paths to take… roads to follow….

It’s on those journeys that Fate finds us and takes us where we need to be… Without a second glance we can be taken away from things we know… people we love and given a new life...

One that can change us… save us…

What would you do if Fate dropped you at a crossroads?

Would you go back?

Or would you run like hell the other way?

Hanging Pawns is the second book in the Fate series but in a way it should have been a prequel. It will help answer some questions you may have had when you finished reading Adjournment.   Now don’t misunderstand that statement, it is not a prequel but could have been, yeah I think I may be getting a little bit confusing so I shall move on.

This time we have the story of Mea and Josh, who we first meet in Adjournment.  I love a sweet and sassy heroine, and Mea fits that description perfectly.  She didn’t have the best life, but walking away from it and finding people like Morgan and Molly made her true sassy, sweet and funny self come forward.  Josh, all I am going to say about Josh is that he is the perfect match for Mea and I loved him.

At times you will find that the first book in a new series is amazing and then the following books either don’t measure up or are just a disappointment all together.  This is not the case with Hanging Pawns, if anything if is even better and just proves that Emersyn Vallis isn’t a one book wonder, but an author that we all need to keep on our radar because I am seeing great things in our future if the rest of the books in this series  continue to be this addicting.
