I am going to be straight up here. I wasn’t sure if I even wanted to read a book about Griff; I obviously understand he did what did for a reason in the previous books but I just never got that OMG I must read his book feel. Well I was so very, very wrong to ever feel that way because let me tell you something. I FUCKING LOVE GRIFF! I should have never doubted Ms. Levine’s vision because not only is Griff tough, he is smoking hot, a sexy alpha Dom, but he is also a sweetheart. Shh don’t let that part get out because he may come after me if it does.

Griff’s past isn’t a pretty one, but he has not only found his family in Storm, he is loyal to them period. He has secrets from before, ones that once you know the reason behind them are understandable. I felt so many emotions when I read of Griff’s past, including anger, sadness, and the need for revenge. Griff is far from perfect, he is an asshole, but he is so much more.

Sophia’s past isn’t pretty either. She made me want to just hug her and tell her she is loved. She needed someone like Griff in her life. Mind you it took a while for him to open his eyes to see that he needed a Sophia in his just as much. Gotta love stubborn men. Sophia was sweet, sassy, and the perfect match for Griff.

I really do love how we get to see the couple from the past and that their stories aren’t finished yet. I really do like knowing that just because a book has ended that the story hasn’t. In real life, our lives don’t end after so many chapters, it continues on until the day we die, even after that. And that is why I love this series, because it shows that relationships aren’t easy, that life can change our relationships, both for the better or for the worse but if you have a strong partner that you can get through anything. I can’t wait for the next Storm book to release, because this is one series that continues to stay strong.

What can I say besides I freaking LOVE THIS SERIES! Blade you are one dangerous, sexy, alpha male with demons that are a part of you that at times they define you. When we first met Blade, we knew that he wasn’t going to be your typical bad boy, no, you could tell from the first time you meet him that he was going to be a game changer and that my fellow readers is a hell of an understatement. There is so much more to Blade, including the fact that he still holds the death of his fiancé in his heart and soul and blames himself. He doesn’t ever want to get close to someone like that again, but when he gets a taste of Layla, his foundation isn’t just cracked, it is broken and he doesn’t know how to feel about that.

Layla, she is a ball crushing (not even busting but crushing) bitch. She is a smart ass, feisty, protective and exactly what Blade needs. She is not shy or weak, nope she is strong and has her own mind. She wants to know Blade’s demons and doesn’t run scared when she learns just who Blade is. Like I said, the perfect fit in every way for Blade.

Slay, is different than the other Storm series books only in the fact that Blade is not a part of Storm, but at the same time is linked to them because of his father, and his half brother and sister. Don’t let the fact that he isn’t knee deep in the Storm MC make you not want to read it, because if you miss this book you will miss out on a damn good read. One that is emotional, sexy as hell, is gritty and at times makes you want to scream both in frustration and to thank the lord. Each book in this series, for me at least, has gotten better and better. I am totally hooked and there are still more books to come (YES!). Make sure if for some reason that you haven’t read this series yet to read them in order, because the books are connected and ongoing.

I remained silent and waited to see how far he’d take this. When his hand moved up the inside of my thigh and under my skirt, I parted my legs and rested my head against the seat, closing my eyes.
