One, to become a member of the Ravage Motorcycle Club, and two, Blaze, the sexy brunette whose eyes set him on fire.
Only one of those things is under his control, and he is done waiting.
It’s time to take what he wants.
Blaze has been running from her tragic past for over four years. She is finally feeling settled, after stripping her way through school and building a life in Sumner, her first safe haven. She keeps everyone at arm’s length, afraid to let anyone discover the secrets she holds within.
Tug sets out to make Blaze his, but will someone get burned in the process?
Will Blaze run again when her new world is threatened?
Or will she allow Tug to consume her?
I absolutely love Tug and how he pushed, but at the same time
didn’t, Blaze into being together. He
knew that if he pushed too hard to fast she would shut down and there wouldn’t
be a chance in hell that he would get in there.
He knew that he wanted her for his old lady once he was patched in but
instead of going all caveman he made her comfortable with him. Was he an angel? Hell no but you know what, he wasn’t perfect
but he could have been a lot worse.
Blaze is running from her past, and it’s about to catch up
with her. Her past is painful and one
that anyone in her place would want to run from and never look back. She doesn’t let anyone close and she doesn’t
date but when Tug works his way into her life at first she is annoyed but
slowly she sees that he is the great guy Princess and Casey told her he
was. Blaze wasn’t being uptight or even
a bitch, she was protecting not just her heart but her life as well and the way
she acted was what she had to do to stay safe.
I have had a 50/50 shot with this series, book one I really
liked, while book two I had to force myself to even finish but Consume Me has made me want to continue
reading the series. I liked that it was
about a Prospect and not a member of the MC and you never get to see those
stories. The Prospects are usually the
bikers bitches in a sense and not taken seriously until they are fully patched
in, but with Consume Me you get that
different take. I also liked how Tug
while he wasn’t abstinent by any means wasn’t a total man-whore up until the
second he got with Blaze, but once he started to really get in there with her,
she was all he wanted and not in a whipped way either. Overall I just really was drawn in and fell
in love with Tug and I hope that the rest of the series will continue to suck
me in like Consume Me did.
