Review: Belong to You and Made for You by Vi Keeland

Belong to You is the wonderfully romantic story of Jack and Sydney.

Sydney and her fiancé have broken up. So, Sydney and her best friend Sienna go on the honeymoon. While on the honeymoon, they meet Jack. Syd and Sienna decide Syd needs a fling with a stranger to get past Michael and get on with her life.

I loved this story. It was romantic. It was sweet. It was filled a little bit of drama, but not too much. Sydney is learning to trust again after being betrayed by Michael. She has some issues to work out, but nothing gargantuan. It’s normal, everyday people stuff. Jack is learning to be in a relationship. He’s never been in one. What I found humorous was Jack was better at being in a relationship than Sydney! And Sydney had been in a relationship before!

There were some things about this that were predictable and some things I wasn’t expecting. Overall, though I really liked it! It made for a great read and reminded me why we like romances so much.

One that was not predictable to me was the ending! It was the PERFECT ending. I couldn’t have imagined something better. It showed how much Jack loves Syd while giving Syd what she needs to find her way! PERFECT!

Made for You picks up right where Belong to You leaves off. Syd is off to tour with Sienna. Jack is letting her go as he knows it’s her dream. He doesn’t want to let her go, but he knows he needs to if he wants to keep her.

On the tour Syd and Jack run into various problems that would challenge a couple that was in the same city. But being in different countries and thousands of miles apart puts a strain on their relationship.

This was another sweet story from Vi Keeland about two people finding their way. Jack and Syd are together even if they aren’t in the same country. Jack continues to be his same sweet and overbearing self. Syd takes it all in stride and they work on it.

Once again I really liked this story. It was sweet, passionate and the couple were amazing together. They have amazing chemistry. They also show us how couple should be together. Things aren’t perfect, but they deal with it. They show each other how they feel and they don’t let others get in their way.

Blog Tour and Giveaway: Edible by Ella Frank

Everyone needs a beacon to find their way when they’re lost. They need an anchor to keep them rooted when they start to fly away. For Rachel, that beacon, that anchor is Cole.

Rachel is lost. She’s been lost for a while. Unfortunately the people around her, the ones who love her the most, are all lost as well.

In searching for herself, Rachel finds Cole. Only she doesn’t think Cole is for her. She thinks Cole is all wrong.

Cole can’t get Rachel out of his mind. He’s determined to have her. And if there’s one thing Cole’s good at, it’s getting what he wants. He’s controlling, determined and oh my GOD sexy!

Things are not always what they seem. Cole wears three-piece suits to work. He keeps control and he’s always calm. Rachel is vibrant, wild (in a controlled way) and determined to keep control of everything. Cole isn’t what he seems. He’s tattooed, pierced and OMFG sexy! When Rachel gets her hands on Cole, it’s all he can do to keep control. Rachel finally learns to give up control to Cole and benefits are unbelievable.

I love that this was a pretty straightforward romance. There were a couple of rough patches as Rachel learned to share her past with Cole. But while it was rough for her to open up to Cole, she did it. She reached for what she wanted and she took it.

Ella Frank has written one of the hottest and sexiest stories I’ve read in a long time. The anticipation, the tension, the build up all lead to the hottest and sexiest scenes ever written. I swear I thought my Kindle was going to burn up! I also know I’ll never look at caramels the same way again.

Mmmm…..Bring on the caramels!

ARC Review: Hunter by Jax

Good vs. Evil
One hot white witch
The battle of a lifetime
Finding your ONE!

All of these things make Hunter one HOT, fun, intense book.

Tatyana is on her way to visit her brother, but he doesn’t know she’s on her way. Along the way, her car dies and she’s forced to walk. It’s a dark, deserted road in the middle of the night. It’s cold, freezing in face, as she only has a shawl to keep her warm. She finally makes it to the house where her brother is staying. She leans on the door to get a twig out of her shoe, when the door opens and she falls into his arms. Hunter.

The prodigal son has finally returned. On Hunter’s first night back, she falls into his arms, literally.

They’re both instantly attracted to each other. There’s a sizzle, a spark. But Hunter has secrets. In fact, everyone in the house has secrets.

What follows in an intense story of attraction, bonding, magic and good versus evil.’

I admit, I was hooked from the very beginning. Jax has a way of writing that is witty, sarcastic and funny, with a dry humor. The intense scenes between Hunter and Tatyana were HOT. I could feel the passion and heat that was building between them.

Jax did an amazing job of building a world that lives along side the world we all live in. Her easy explanation account for how these witches live in our society, yet we know nothing of their world.

I liked the idea of the differing schools of magic. Each school of magic gives the witch or warlock certain advantages and disadvantages. No two witches are exactly alike. The power level of each witch is different as is the school of magic and their ability.

It was just a neat world to be a part of. Now, I don’t KNOW that this is the first in a series. But I certainly hope it is. While there were no cliffhangers, there certainly were hints of the possibility of future books with this witch coven. I certainly hope there is!

Favorite Quote: "Now, here I am, a stranded woman marching down a spooky, remote road with no one to hear me scream. I'm in a damned plot for a B horror flick!"

Review: Perfection (A Neighbor from Hell #2) by R.L. Mathewson

OMG!

Perfection is perfection!

R.L. Mathewson writes the funniest books! I LOVE everything about the series Neighbor from Hell! I was laughing so hard at one point in the story that I had to stop reading because my eyes were blurry with tears!

How DOES one get banned from fast food delivery places, buffets and most restaurants in general? Just follow around a Bradford and find out! The Bradford’s fascination with food is legendary and hysterical. I’ve never seen one group of men consume so much food or fight over food!

Zoe is the perfect compliment to Trevor! She’s nothing like what he was looking for in a wife and everything he needed! Their interactions were phenomenal! I really liked Zoe. I think I’ve felt like Zoe a time or two, like everything bad was going to happen and nothing good. But life has a way of throwing you what you need and giving you what you want. For Zoe, that came in the form of hot, asshole neighbor Trevor.

Trevor really is a jerk. But in his defense, he’s a lovable jerk. Mostly he’s just oblivious. When Zoe takes him to task for his behavior, he realizes what a jerk he’s being and sets out to change, a little at a time. He wouldn’t want to shock Zoe with an about face would he?

Things come to a head when he realizes he wants Zoe forever, but because of his previous behavior, she doesn’t believe him. Will he be able to prove to Zoe he wants forever?

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to laugh as they read a wonderful romance!
