Dear reader:
Congratulations on purchasing the Awkward Sex Anthology! A bunch of amazing authors in a group called FTN (We could tell you what this means, but then we'd have to kill you) got together to write the most awkward sex scenes you could imagine, all for charity. You might be thinking to yourself, "I can't believe I just bought a book called F*cking Awkward" and I'm here to tell you, it's much better than the titles that were rejected:

F*cking Toasters
F*cking Goats
F*cking a Box of Captain Crunch
F*cking a T-Rex While Playing the Trumpet
F*cking My Best Friend's Neighbor's Stepsister's Starbucks Manager While Wearing a Toga
F*cking a Toga

I'm just kidding! Nobody wrote a story about f*cking a goat! It was a wombat, actually, and no one pressed charges, so it's fine. The author is fine, the wombat is fine, EVERYONE IS FINE AND I DIDN'T NEED THERAPY SO STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT.

Did you know that six out of every seven people in the entire world have experienced an awkward sexual encounter? It's true. I've done extensive research. And by extensive, I mean I did a poll of all the adults in my house - 2 dogs, 3 cats, and my husband and I. I'm pretty sure my dog Fat Ralph was lying when he told me he'd never experienced anything awkward during sex, but he had his nuts cut off when he was six weeks old and is still quite bitter about the whole thing and threatens me with a dog bone shank whenever we chat about sex, so I think it's 4 best if I stop questioning him about the time I found him in the backyard with a jar of peanut butter, two frogs and the neighbor's cat wearing pasties.

The cat was the one wearing pasties, FYI, not Fat Ralph. That would just be weird.

So, grab some booze, sit back, and enjoy these hilariously awkward sex scenes. Give yourself a pat on the back for purchasing a book for charity and another one for never experiencing something as crazy as what you're about to read. Unless you have. In that case, it's okay to cry and rock back and forth in the corner screaming, "IT WAS ONLY THAT ONE TIME AND I HAD NO IDEA I WASN'T SUPPOSED TO PUT THAT CUCUMBER THERE!" Six out of seven of us totally understand. Except for Fat Ralph. He's totally judging you right now.

Blog Tour: Trust By Ella Frank

TRUST verb: to believe in the reliability, truth, or strength of another.
Up until now, Logan Mitchell has never had much of a reason to trust anyone.
Having struggled with a self-identity crisis throughout college, he’s spent the years since then creating a sophisticated facade to present to the world.
It’s an armor he thought was impenetrable—until he met Tate Morrison.
The gorgeous, headstrong bartender he’d sat across from only months ago has taken a tight hold of his heart, and Logan is discovering that it’s time to let go.
It’s time to let someone inside.
After years of placing his dreams on hold for his family, Tate has finally chosen to do what makes him happy and follow his heart.
The one thing he never would’ve imagined was that it would lead him into the arms of a man—and not just any man—the striking, never-takes-no-for-an-answer Logan Mitchell.
Tate has fallen hard, and as his world is turned on its axis and they move forward together, he finds his life becoming more entwined with the confident, successful lawyer.
Even though neither man expected the other, it’s time to trust in their relationship—but not everything comes so easily…

When I first started this series with Try, I thought that I loved that book so much that any others in the series would be able to ever top it.  I was wrong.  I read Take and loved it even more than Try so once again I believed that nothing would top it, that there was no way that Ella Frank could write another Logan and Tate book like she had already.  Well, I will admit I was wrong again because Trust has me bowing down asking for forgiveness for ever doubting her ability to make me love Logan and Tate even more.

I absolutely refuse to give anything away out of respect for Ms. Frank, but also because I want you to read Trust, and to trust me when I say that you will not in any way shape or form be disappointed in the final book in this series.  Logan and Tate will make you believe in real love once more.  What do I mean by real love?  The kind that can make it through some hard times, that can withstand trials and tribulations and that can show it doesn’t matter who you love man or woman as long as you love them with everything you are and they do the same for you.

I will say this, Logan and Tate still have some of the hottest sex scenes I have ever read.  I was squirming in my seat more than once wishing I was either one of them, hell I ‘m not picky I’ll be Tate, I’ll be Logan, just as long as I got to be a part of those panty wetting scenes.

I hope in the future we do get to see more of Logan and Tate because I am not ready to let them go just yet.  That is the beauty of being able to read, I can go back and reread Try, Take and Trust and fall in love with these two sexy men all over again.  Thank you Ella Frank for not only allowing me the opportunity for reviewing your book, but for also writing a series about two men who healed each other’s pain and proved that love can conquer all.

Excerpt
“What’s wrong with my hair? Are you saying I need to cut it?”
“No, I’m fucking not,” Logan said as he fingered the curls by Tate’s ear. “And you know it.”
“What would you do if I did shave my head?”
“Kill you? And likely get away with it since I have connections to a very reputable law firm.”
Tate chuckled and shoved Logan until he was on his back beside him. “Be serious.”
Logan turned his head on the pillow and ran his eyes over Tate’s full head of hair. Then he returned his gaze to the eyes watching him. “I would quite possibly cry. For days.”
“Over my hair? It does grow back, you know.”
“Yeah, but not for months,” he grumbled. “Can you please stop talking so calmly about this? You’re making me nervous.”
Tate shifted until his long, lean body was stretched out above him, and Logan widened his legs to allow him to settle in between.
“Don’t worry,” Tate assured him as he lowered his head to kiss the corner of his mouth. He then moved those teasing lips to Logan’s ear and whispered, “I like your hands in it too much to cut it off.”
Logan threaded his fingers through the thick waves and asked, “Like this?”
With a groan, Tate rocked his hips against him, and Logan twisted his fingers tighter.
Exactly like that.”
“Good,” he said as he wound his legs around Tate’s. “Because this way, I can have a tight hold on you when you’re trying to distract me. I’m onto you, Mr. Morrison. Don’t try to use your body against me.”
He almost lost his willpower when Tate, the cocky fucker, placed his hands on either side of his head and rubbed their erections together.
“You don’t want me to use my body on you?”
“Fuck you,” Logan said, knowing full well that, if he didn’t change the subject or get Tate the hell off him, he was going to roll him over and cease talking altogether.
Usually he’d love nothing more, but right now, he wanted to know why Tate had reacted so strongly to his question from last night—well, early morning .
“We need to talk.”

Blog Tour: A Desperate Man Vol. 2 By: Ella Frank & Brooke Blaine

Illusions — we all create them.

For some it’s to project an impressive image to a prospective employer; for others it’s to attract the eye of another.

My illusion is a bit more...complicated.

Years in the making, my secret has the potential to bite me in the ass. And not in the way I typically enjoy.

Sex.

As women, we’re judged for reveling in the same carnal pleasures that men do, but I’ve never been shy about my voracious appetite.

Now, I’m under no illusions that I’ll find love with any of my one night stands.

After all, I have one rule — no repeats — but it’s a rule that’s becoming harder to follow since Evan James came back into my life.

Did I say back into my life?

My name is Reagan Spencer, and you may think you know me, but...

How well do we really know anyone?

Excerpt
“Walk with me?” Evan asked.
She gave him a small smile and nodded. “Sure.”
Pushing off the rail, she fell in step with him as they walked along the river’s
edge.
“I’d be scared of what you’d see if you looked at me through your lens,” he
admitted.
“You shouldn’t.”
Evan scoffed and ran his fingers through his hair. “I can’t imagine there’s much
good there…”
“You’d be surprised at what I see.”
That comment had him coming to a standstill. “Would I?”
“Yes.”
“Okay,” he said, and started walking again. “Tell me what you see.”
Reagan slid her thumbs down the straps of her camera and cocked her head,
looking him over.
“I see a successful man. One who dresses well, even on a Saturday morning. So
that would indicate to me that he takes pride in his appearance. Maybe cares about what
others think also. The fact that you were leaving a therapist’s office makes me think
you’re a man with some issues, but also a man who is willing to work through them.
Again, that comes back to pride. You seem to be able to swallow yours when need be.”
Evan’s brow furrowed, but he said nothing as she continued.
“You also have a certain…air about you. It’s in the way you move. You’re
confident, but at the same time, when you flash that smile, the arrogance disappears, and
you look like the boy you used to be.”
The smile under discussion appeared, and Evan asked, “How do you know what
kind of boy I used to be?”
“Hey? This is my story,” Reagan reminded him before he continued asking
questions she wasn’t willing to answer.
“Oh, my apologies, I somehow thought it involved me.”
“It does, but you’re on the outside listening, so shh. You asked, remember?”
With a serious face, he nodded. “You would be right.”
“Okay. Now I lost my train of thought.”
Evan chuckled. “Well, it’s probably for the best that you didn’t mention any of
my unappealing attributes.”
“Speaking of…” she said, and turned to walk backward, facing him. “How did the therapy session go today?”
“Really great. There was an orgy, a sampling of sex toys, and a dessert buffet
afterward. Very satisfying.”
“Evan…”
He blew out a breath and rubbed the back of his neck. “It was fine. It’s always
fine. Today, Dr. Glover brought up behavior triggers, and it helped to figure out where
this whole mess started.”
Curious, she asked, “And where was that?”
“It wasn’t any one event. It was the high off the power I got from my job, it was
being in an unhealthy relationship…my grandparents passing…the worry about
following in my parents’ footsteps. The further things spiraled out of my control, the
more I craved that control in other parts of my life. Well, a very specific part of my life.”
He glanced over at her before continuing. “Obviously that’s the condensed version, but…I think it helps. Knowing those things and hopefully being able to stop them in the future.”
But the urge isn’t gone?”
The look in his eyes was haunted as he replied, “No. No, it isn’t gone.”

About Brooke
You could say Brooke Blaine was a book-a-holic from the time she knew how to read; she used to tell her mother that curling up with one at 4 a.m. before elementary school was her ‘quiet time.’ Not much has changed except for the espresso I.V. pump she now carries around and the size of her onesie pajamas.

Her first solo novel, a romantic comedy, is due out in early 2015, but first, she thought she’d write a raunchy story with her best friend that would scar her conservative southern family for life.
If you’d like to get in touch with her, she’s easy to find - just keep an ear out for the Rick Astley ringtone that’s dominated her cell phone for ten years.

Blog Tour: The Fantasy (A Desperate Man Vol One) By: Ella Frank & Brooke Blaine

Fantasies - we all have them.

For some it’s their dream job; others want the wedding, the 2.5 kids, the white picket fence.

My fantasies are a bit more...depraved.

Dark and sinful, they have destroyed relationships and my livelihood, yet I still submit to them like a slave.

Sex.

For most, it’s a natural expression of love, caring, or lust.

But there are those of us who can’t stop once we’ve had a taste.

Those of us who don’t want to.

And the shame of that never-ending cycle will eat us alive...

My name is Evan James, and I am a sex addict.

A sex addict, that is what Evan James is. His addiction cost him his previous employment, it controls his life. He needs his next fix, and his drug of choice is sex. Whether it be actual sex, a blow job or even a hand job, he can’t stop. He has this amazing night and morning of sex with a woman and that woman has made his addiction worse and he can’t seem to get off quiet as easily as he used too. Just when you think he’s going to be able to move on, he is once again drawn to her.

This is the first volume in a serial series and while I enjoyed it overall there was something lacking for me. I have tried to pinpoint what that exactly was but I just can’t. Maybe it is because it is a part of a serial and I needed more to see what would happen, or maybe it’s that Evan has more than just his addiction that he is hiding. I am curious to see what the next volume will bring for Evan James and his at times painful addiction to all things sex.

EXCERPT

“Come here.”

Evan James crooked his finger at the blonde currently shimmying back into her minuscule, tight, black dress. The same one she’d worn last night that had called like a siren’s song to his cock in the middle of the dimly lit club.

She looked over at him with heavy-lidded eyes and held the barely there fabric still around her waist. His eyes zoomed in on the impressive breasts overflowing out of her sheer, black bra. Covered, but not enough.

His mouth watered, and he wanted to drag her back to the bed and take hold of her ripe nipple before pulling the fabric down and out of his way to take her fully into his mouth again.

After having had her so many times in the last few hours, she’d no doubt taste of him on every inch of her soft skin. He liked that. Before, she’d tasted faintly of vanilla musk—a fragrance he wasn’t overly fond of. He’d made quick, dirty work of her though, marking and leaving his scent on her with his lips, his sex, his come, and he figured one last go-round before sending her on her way would suppress his craving for at least a couple of days.

He hoped. His appetite was voracious.

“Can’t get enough, can you?” She leaned down over the edge of the bed and placed her hands there, giving him an ample view of what he wanted. Now.

He narrowed his eyes. “Don't play with me.”

Blondie tsked and put her knees on the mattress, crawling on all fours toward him. “Oh, baby, I told you you’d never want me to leave once you got inside.”

She was right about that much. If he could live in pussy, he would. It was his weakness, his addiction, the one thing he’d give up anything and everything for. And he nearly had.

FAST TALK WITH ELLA AND BROOKE

1. 3 things you never leave home without?

Ella: Phone, wallet, keys

Brooke: A bottle of water, chapstick/lip gloss, and some form of communication

2. Name the last 3 books you have purchased.

Brooke: The King by Tiffany Reisz, Made by J.M. Darhower, and a signed copy of The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare

Ella: A King Undone by Cooper Davis, Succubus on Top by Richelle Mead, and Sempre by J.M. Darhower

3. Your biggest pet peeve?

Ella: Being told to talk in a quieter voice. I get loud when excited. It takes away the fun when interrupted and told to speak softly. ~pouts~

Brooke: Most of mine have to do with people being glued to phones in public, whether it’s during a movie or live theatre, at dinner with friends, or while trying to have a one on one conversation. No one’s in the moment anymore.

4. Favorite male body part?

Brooke: Eyes, always. Can height be a body part too? Because I hate being taller than the guy all the time.

Ella: Nice, broad shoulders.

5. Do you believe in love at first sight?

Ella: No. I think you can find someone extremely attractive, but to love a person, I believe you need to know them.

Brooke: No way. To love someone, you need to love all of them, even the ugly parts they don’t want you to see. And at first sight, they definitely aren’t showing off those flaws.

6. Sex on the first date?

Brooke: For my friends? Absofuckinglutely. I love hearing about it afterward. ;) But for me, probably not. I’m much shyer than I let on.

Ella: No. And not because I’m a prude, I just never have.

7. If you can be any fictional character for a day, who would you want to be?

Ella: Elizabeth Bennett on her wedding day (and night) to Mr. Darcy.

Brooke: Ohhh, good one, Ella. I’m gonna go total potternerd and say any character in Harry Potter. For the butter beer and magic spells, of course.

8. Write a short letter to Santa Claus and show us how it would like.

Brooke: Dear Santa, I’ve been really good for the last twenty minutes that I’ve been writing these answers, so let’s just focus on that, shall we? Ps – I’ll leave you dark chocolate bacon cupcakes instead of stale cookies this year if you put our book in everyone’s stockings.

Ella: Dear Santa, Just because my name made it to the top of the naughty list does not mean I participated in any kind of shenanigans. I was a good girl, I promise… well okay, maybe not promise, how about…I think? Love & kisses, Ella

Blog Tour & Review: Take by Ella Frank

TAKE – verb: to reach for and hold in one’s hands or get into one’s possession, power or control.

Logan Mitchell is a man who’s always been more than happy to take what he wants. It’s a philosophy that’s proven lucrative in both his business and personal life, and never was it more apparent than the night he laid eyes on Tate Morrison. After pulling out all the stops and convincing the sexy bartender to give him a try—he’s hooked.

Now, Logan finds himself in a predicament that demands more from him than a smart-ass answer and his innate ability to walk away when things get too deep.

He has a choice to make, and it’ll force him to do something he’s never done before—take a chance.

Tate Morrison knows all about taking a chance. He took the biggest one of his life the night he showed up at Logan’s apartment to explore his unexpected reaction to the man.

Ever since then, he’s thought about little else.

At first he was convinced his attraction was based solely on his body’s curiosity. But the more time he spends with the silver-tongued lawyer, the more Tate realizes that their physical chemistry is only the beginning.

He’s starting to catch a glimpse of what life with Logan would be like, and it’s one full of excitement and satisfaction—a far cry from what he had in the past with his soon to be ex-wife.

Each man will face their fears as they begin to understand the true meaning of give and take. Their feelings for one another will be tested, as will their very beliefs. But now that they’ve found love where they least expected it, will they be brave enough to reach out and take it?

Holy hell and here I thought Try was one of the sexiest things I have read, I was wrong, Take blows Try away. Now stop thinking about Tate blowing Logan or vice versa because if you don’t you won’t finish reading my review.

I love how Logan and Tate’s relationship is forming and already they are growing stronger as a couple.  These two truly are what each other needs in each of their lives.  Was there drama?  Hell yes but the drama while at one point I wanted to choke the shit out of both of them, (they still are men after all and do stupid shit even when it’s a gay relationship) but that drama also made them stronger.

Ella Frank has a way of completely drawing you into the story, making you think that you are in their bedroom just sitting there and watching one sexy as hell show go down between two hot men.  I couldn’t get enough of the sex between Logan and Tate, because they were so much more than just sex, it is love between them and I want more.  I really hope that the next book comes soon. I want to see where Ms. Frank plans on taking their relationship and for the simple fact that I just want more of Logan and Tate.

“That’s your truck?”

“Yes.”

“It’s so…”

“So what?” Logan challenged as he pulled his keys from his pocket.

“Old?”

“Excuse me. I’ll have you know I was driving this baby all through college and she still runs like a dream.”

Tate watched as Logan walked over to run his hand over the scratched-up tailgate, and he was amazed that he even made that look sexy. Like he was stroking a lover.

“And it’s a she, huh?”

Now around at the passenger’s side, Logan opened the door and looked at him over the bed of the truck. “Yeah. Jealous?”

Laughing, Tate walked over to where Logan stood with a hand on the door and kissed him slowly on the mouth.

“I’m jealous of anything you stroke like that.”

“Get in the truck, Tate.”

“Or else?”

Logan stepped forward, crowding him back against the inside frame of the vehicle. “You’re not ready for the or else…”

Blog Tour: Veiled Innocence by Ella Frank

Tick, tick, tock.

Time.

That’s all I have now.

A small room, a photograph, and time.

They want me to trust them and confess my sins.

They told me they wouldn't judge me—they lied.

I thought we could convince the world that this wasn't a crime.

We were wrong.

Time doesn't stand still.

The clock keeps ticking, the world is unconvinced, and now…

Now he is gone.

Janna’s Review

Addison’s character was determined and broken at the same time. She knew what she wanted, even though it wasn’t necessarily the right thing to do but went for it anyways. There is so much more to her than meets the eye. People judged, blamed and tormented her. She has suffered pain and loss, but at the same time has done what she has needed to survive. She is a survivor of life and some of the worst possible life events that never should be suffered. Innocence destroyed as quickly as a clock can go tick, tick, tock.

Her savior, the one person who helps make the pain go away is the one person she shouldn’t be determined to be with. He knows what is at stake if he touches her, he knows his freedom can be taken away, but he is just as drawn to her as she is him. He fights it, he tries to keep his distance, but when the person he shouldn’t want is the one who he needs, what can one do when it’s too late and the fight is lost? He is going through his own personal events and is at odds with himself over what he has allowed to begin. When he needs her comfort, she makes his demons go away.

When I first started Veiled Innocence I wasn’t sure what I was going to expect. I knew this story was going to be dark, involve a relationship that is forbidden, possibly cross lines that shouldn’t be crossed, and would have my emotions in such a roller coaster ride that motion sickness medicines were almost needed. The angst alone had my entire body tense and nervous. What I didn’t know was that from the start I would be drawn into this story from the absolute start and would not be able to stop reading until I knew everything. I loved the forbidden, the fight to not be tempted. It was sexual, holy hell some of the sex was hot. At one point I was looking around for my husband it was so hot. I loved how Cupid and Psyche plays such a role in this story, as they are one of my favorite stories from Greek Mythology. I honestly wish that it was even longer just to see more of their relationship unfold. I loved Ms. Frank’s book since the first one I read and Veiled Innocence has cemented my love for her and her books even further. This needs to be on your must read now list.
Amanda's Review:

What I really like about this forbidden teacher/student romance was that it had a different spin. You get past and present events along with dual POV's which is something I really like to read. I like to get into the mind frames of the characters. I want to feel their emotions so I can connect better with them. The student character Addison has problems and the teacher character Mr. McKendrick is dealing with problems. Their both unexpected to each other. Mr. McKendrick is a healer to Addison while Addison is an awakening to him. He knows it's wrong to feel that sexual attraction to her yet it's inevitable to deny their chemistry. Did I find it creepy? No. Was I bothered by the age difference? Again, no. When it's there it's just there. I will say that this teacher is verra verra naughty and I loved it.

Ella Frank is a go to author. She never disappoints me and I find her work on the side of brilliance.

Excerpt:
I’d waited until he got out of the truck before approaching. I didn’t want his escape to be as easy as driving away. Standing in the small stone alcove of the gate, I knew it would be best to wait until he stepped away from the lit area. That way, any cars driving by wouldn’t be able to see us.
I wanted no excuses, no reason for him to worry, but I could see my silence had caused just as much concern as my presence would have. He turned to me, and I finally took a moment to really look at him the way I wanted to.
His hair was still pulled back but several pieces had now escaped and been pushed behind his ears. The darker stubble lining his square jaw made my fingers tingle with the need to touch.
“Oh, thank God,” he whispered, sounding relieved.
I thought he would move away from me once he knew I was safe. Instead, he reached out and squeezed my shoulder.
“I thought something had happened to you.”
I don’t think he realized that he was slowly massaging me.
“Jesus, don’t do that again. Okay?”
Taking another step closer, I agreed quietly. “Okay.”
He licked his lips and removed his hands, and I saw in his eyes the minute he decided it was time for some distance.
“What are you doing out here?” he asked. His casual black sports jacket shifted with the breeze, and all of a sudden I couldn’t remember why I was there. All I knew was that I wanted to touch him.
“Addison?”
His voice had the ability to make all of the noise inside my head cease.
Blinking up at him, I finally answered, “Yes?”
“What are you doing out here?”
Moving in so my jacket brushed the front of his, I finally reached to touch him, but he grabbed my wrist, holding it away.
“No,” he told me, and his voice was so stern I probably should have heeded the warning…but I didn’t.
“No?”
His head bent down, and when his face was a hairsbreadth from my own, he repeated, “No. Tell me why you’re here.”
His breath was warm as it ghosted over my lips, and I couldn’t help but part my own, hoping by some miracle I could taste him on my tongue.
“Why are you here? That’s a better question, don’t you think?”
“I know better than this.”
I reached up needing to touch him, but he took that hand too, holding them both prisoner. Being held in place with nowhere to go elicited a hunger in me that I didn’t yet understand. “Know better than what?”
“Than to be here.”
“Then go,” I offered.
That was all it took. He spun me around, backed me up against the truck, and had my arms pinned by my head so fast I lost my breath. Leaning in beside me until his mouth was by my ear, he rasped in an unsteady voice, “I can’t.”
I turned my head to face him and saw all of his turmoil, and finally, the full impact of his desire. “Then don’t.”
“You’re going to be the death of me.”
Life is full of ironies, because with him, I’d never felt more alive.
