Virtual Tour: Broken Play By Samantha Kane

Perfect for fans of Shayla Black and Lexi Blake, the deeply sensual new Birmingham Rebels series introduces an unforgettable team of chiseled football gods—and the daring, provocative games they play behind closed doors.

Birmingham Rebels offensive linemen Beau Perez and Cass Zielinski are inseparable, on and off the field. Cass, the captain with the cowboy swagger, is a loose cannon. Beau, the veteran tight end, is cool under pressure. And ever since they were caught on tape in a steamy threesome, their exploits have fueled more than a few tabloid headlines—and naughty fantasies.

Marian Treadwell knows all about the video. And now that she’s the Rebels’ new assistant offensive coach, she can’t look at Beau and Cass without picturing their hard, naked bodies—with her pressed in between. Marian would like nothing more than to indulge those impulses, but she knows better than to get too close to her players, a bunch of adrenaline-fueled alpha males who don’t always follow the rules.

Just the thought of sharing the gorgeous yet guarded Marian drives Cass wild. At first, Beau isn’t sure she’s right for them . . . and lately, all he desires is a little alone time with Cass to explore their new intimacy. But it’s only a matter of time before Cass breaks through both of their defenses. Because when seduction is the game plan, he always plays to win.

Broken Play is intended for mature audiences.
I have had a weird streak of really good arc’s and then I will have a ton that I either do not finish or rate extremely low.  I have sadly been on the bad and do not finish streak as of late.  So going into Broken Play I will admit I honestly kind of thought this will be another one to add to the bad streak, but I couldn’t have been more wrong!  It was extremely hot and I really enjoyed it.  Hello it’s about football players, a ménage and possibly some m/m action.  Of course I loved it, it had three of my favorite things!

Broken Play will have you changing your panties more than once.  I am serious here people, these scenes and the buildup are some that will have you all hot and bothered.  The connection that Cass, Beau and Marian have is electrifying.  This isn’t just about a ménage, so let me get that perfectly clear right now.  It is also about friendship, trust, healing and opening your mind to new scenarios.  I enjoyed the introduction of the other characters as well, they played a large part in the book and I am curious to see what the author has planned for them.  I hope the next book comes out soon because I really do want to read more about these bad boys of football.

Blog Tour: Craving Talon By Zoey Derrick

CravingTalonBTBanner

CravingTalonCover
Rock hard once again with Zoey Derrick’s sizzling hot rock & roll series!

The story picks up as 69 Bottles continues their tour, riding a surge of success thanks to an impromptu duet between Talon and Addison.

It’s a crazy turn of life for Addison Beltrand, who’s always lived to work and worked to live. Now, everything is shifted upside down—and that’s not a bad thing. Stepping on the 69 Bottles tour bus has banished the heartache of her past, and feels like a rocking new beginning.

Talon Carver and Kyle Black couldn’t agree more. The band’s lead singer and manager are falling hard for the beautiful rock chick, and will do anything to keep her in their bed—and between their bodies—forever.

The trio’s blissful bubble is popped by a danger nobody has anticipated. The band’s security team, always watchful for fan attacks on the members, isn’t prepared for what happens to Addison during this leg of the tour. Will Kyle and Talon be able to help save Addison? Or will her fear force her to pack her bags and return to LA?

Everything hinges on her decision…

Two men. One woman. A rock band. A tour bus. One Wild Ride…

****Content Warning**** Sexy, naked, bisexual rock stars…and a lot more… This book contains, but is not limited to the following sexual content – reader discretion is advised - hot sex between two men and one woman. M/M/F, M/F/M, M/F, F/M and M/M sexual content. There are no boundaries when these three crash together, as long as you’re over 18 years of age.

If you thought what you read in the previous book, Claiming Addison was panty wetting hot then be forewarned because Craving Talon makes Claiming Addison look like a PG rated movie.  I am so glad that I was at home when I read this one because I am no prude obviously and I even blushed more than once and had me squirming in my seat to get some umm relief wishing my husband was home.

I love a good rocker series, hell I love a good ménage series even more, but combine the two genres together and this reviewer is in paradise.  Damn to be a fly on the wall when these three are going at it would be a dream come true.  I love how with each of the books so far we learn more about all three of them and are able to fall in love with them just a little bit more with the further we read.

If you are wondering if there is another cliff hanger?  Yes there is so please be prepared for that and either wait until the third book is released to read it or just dive right in and see why you will be craving Talon like the rest of us, you will be craving Kyle and Addison as well don’t you worry.  Zoey Derrick has a fan for life if these are the level of hotness we can expect from her in the future.

Review: A Million Tiny Pieces By: Nicole Edwards

Mia Cantrell is happy to be rid of her lying, cheating, ex-husband. With her divorce final, Mia is moving on, grasping the reins of life once more. She’s learning to deal with the shattered remains while putting one foot in front of the other, taking control of her own decisions, and ultimately living one day at a time. Too bad the universe has put a hiccup (or two) in her well thought out plan.

Phoenix Pierce is putting the pieces back together after the death of his father. Between his multi-million dollar company, the NHL team he now owns, and the endless supply of women willing to share a bed for one night of uninhibited sex, he finds himself going through the motions. Until he meets Mia. Although he’s on a mission to win her, that doesn’t solve his problem of the other person he wants… the man he has denied himself for years.

Tarik Marx doesn’t think anyone could ever fill the void in his life the way Phoenix unknowingly has. That is until he meets Mia. Thanks to a fractured childhood, Tarik has to face a bigger problem: he doesn’t know how it feels to be loved. His past adds additional complexity when Tarik finds himself trying to figure out how he can have them both.

Is it possible for a million tiny pieces to come together again? And if they do, will that make the bond even stronger than before?

Wow.  I am not sure exactly what I can say about A Million Tiny Pieces, expect wow.  I know what you are thinking.  Seriously wow is all she can think of?  Well yes wow is all I can think of because I am having a hard time putting into words my feelings about this book.  Let me try to somewhat explain what I mean by that.  Overall I am a hair shy of loving the book, and the reason for me not loving it 100% is because at times I thought the book dragged on.  Not that it was poorly written or the characters didn’t keep me engaged, because they did, but I wanted at times to scream because I wanted more of their time together and not all the million of dramas that surrounded the three of them.  The sex between these three whether one on one or all three together was panty soaking hot, something that Nicole Edwards is known for, some of the hottest sex scenes that leave you panting and reaching for your significant other.  So besides the fact that I wish the book had been a little shorter (lord the book gods are going to strike me down for that probably) I absolutely loved it.

Nicole Edwards is an author that I just know that before even reading the blurb I will automatically purchase because she knows how to make you chase after her characters and wish that it was you in the book with them.  A Million Tiny Pieces isn’t an exception to that statement either because hot damn I wish I could have been in the room during some of those scenes and because the book really is one that should be on your TBR lists.

For months, shy drummer Jinx Hardwick has been silently crushing on her tall, dark, and scary bandmate, Toombs Badcock. Drawn to his frightening ink and scars, she yearns to uncover the shadowy secrets lurking behind his silver eyes, but Jinx is too intimidated to even look at him, let alone talk to him. To make matters worse, Jinx’s family needs her at home. She’s about to back away from it all—Toombs, the band, her dreams of fame and fortune—when Rax makes her an offer she can’t refuse: a no-holds-barred night alone with Toombs. There’s one small catch. Blog Tour and Review: Kiss Across Chains

Kiss Across Chains continues the saga of Taylor, Veris and Brody. They’ve decided to stop jumping through time because it causes so many problems. But when they’re threatened by the queen of the vampires they have to make a jump, just three days into the past to fix it.

When they decided to jump back home, they end up in Constantinople, where Brody is a slave and human. Now, they have to get Veris, Brody and Taylor in the same place and get back to the present, without messing up their timelines.

This series is interesting series and provides us with a number of interesting conundrums.

When Brody and Veris travel through time, they inhabit their previous selves. When Taylor travels back, a whole new body is there for her. Yet, her body remains in the present. So, there are two Taylors. I’m extremely curious how that happens.

We also end up with a question about the space-time continuum. Yes, I’m embracing my inner Trekkie for this one! If they didn’t go back in time, how would that affect their present? Yet, if they do go back in time, they could annihilate themselves and alter the present. They would not only affect themselves, but others. But, if they didn’t travel back, would things have happened like they did in this present. See? It’s a conundrum!

Now, in most vampire stories, we only hear about their past lives. In this series, we get the pleasure of experiencing it with them. This is an interesting aspect to the stories.  No matter what time or place Veris, Taylor and Brody find themselves, they end up in love and feeling very passionate about that love!

Kiss Across Swords picks up about four years after Kiss Across Time leaves off. Veris, Brody and Taylor are living together and in love. Veris and Taylor make a jump back to a time before Veris was vampire. He’s human. Taylor and Veris interact with other around them and change something.

Back in the present, Veris runs off to Europe to sulk. While he’s off doing his Veris thing, Brody and Taylor jump to when Veris and Brody meet and commit to each other. But Veris isn’t like Veris. He’s different. All these jumps have finally resulted in a major catastrophe. Veris doesn’t want Brody and Taylor. If Brody and Taylor can’t get Veris to commit to Brody before they return to the present, their relationship will vanish and so will……something else.

This one was a little harder for me to get into than the first one. There was a lot storytelling in this one by Brody. But it was necessary to the overall story. We needed to know what happened the first time they met so that Brody and Taylor could fix it.

Once we got into the actual seduction of Veris, the story picked up. I like how the story was intertwined with events in history. I also like how these jumps have altered the present. Things they’ve done in the past have impacted what the present and future look like. So far, all the changes have turned out to be minor, but who knows, it could all go downhill in the blink of an eye.

Tracey Cooper-Posey did a great job of telling how they hid their vampirism from others. The modifications they made to their lifestyles in order to fit in with humans.

The romance between Brody and Veris burned hot. Once Veris was accepting of a human, the passion between Veris, Taylor and Brody was indescribable.

Now I’m off to read the third in the series. I’m still curious about why they can jump. I’m hoping we get that explanation soon!

Kiss Across Time is an action packed, dramatic story with hot alpha vampires and a feisty woman! What more could you ask for?

Taylor has been researching a poet that has been dead for centuries. There’s no positive proof that this man existed, but Taylor is sure of it. After a chance encounter, she’s fired from her university position. Then she hears this poets words being used in a heavy metal song. She finds a way to meet the band and from then on it’s GAME ON!

When she meets Brody, the band member who wrote the song, she also meets Veris. They’re lovers, have been for a VERY long time. They both want Taylor. When they kiss, they transport back through time and re-live memories of centuries past.

They have to contend with passion, attraction, time-travel and a vindictive vampire queen. We have kidnapping, fights, time-travel and hot ménage sex! But it’s not just Taylor with Brody and Veris, Brody and Veris are lovers and we get some M/M action in there as well.

Tracy Cooper-Posey managed to write a story that travels through the ages, literally. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t stop reading. This story is filled with action, romance, angst and two very hot alpha vampires.
