Michelle wanted to put
all males in the same category as her no good cheating, family deserting
father. It doesn’t help Jake’s case at all that he was known for his womanizing
ways and the last time they spoke he was a complete douche bag to her. Oh, he had
his reasons for acting that way, but seriously when will men (both in fiction
and real life) learn if you treat a woman like ass, she is going to tell you to
kiss hers and walk away. Jake knows he has his work cut out for him, but he is
a man on a mission and refuses to fail.
When Jake finds out
something that Michelle has been keeping not only from him, but from everyone
else, he has the right to be pissed off like he is. Michelle knows she made a
huge mistake, but will Jake be able to forgive her? It hurts to read the
reasons why Jake did what he did, but when I read Michelle’s, I was pissed off
for Jake because her reasons were petty and just plain wrong. I can maybe
understand why she didn’t tell Jake at first, but come on at some point she
needed to tell him. I do love how they finally make up and he tells her, “Ass.
In. Bed”. I just love an Alpha male *sigh*.
Rev It Up is the third
book in the Black Knight Inc. series and, in my opinion, each book keeps
getting better and better. You are seeing more character development. In each
book there are other Knights going through their own problems, which usually
sets up for a book down the line, but it doesn’t take away from the current
storyline; it adds to it. I am loving the interactions between all the
characters. I am truly looking forward to reading each book about each Knight
because these guys are hot!
