Review:
The Russian Seduction took
me a very long while to fully get involved in. The beginning was confusing and
boring and just didn’t suck me in like a book should to keep me reading.
HOWEVER, I am glad I kept on reading and didn’t give up on it. The sexual
chemistry the two was intense. Alexis
and Victor both knew the other could screw the other over, but they couldn’t
and wouldn’t stay away from each other.
Alexis tried to ward off
Victor’s advances. Her ex-husband, who was also her boss, constantly reminded
her she needed to stay away from Victor and did everything in his power to make
that happen. Alexis grew on me. At first, I found her overly annoying, but then
you watch her come out of her shell and see who she is; not just a diplomat for
the United States. Victor held onto his secrets, and in my opinion, that is
what made him so sexy, it was the mysterious side of who he was. The ending was
a little rushed, but overall once I was able to get past the first couple of
chapters I honestly really liked this book.
