Review: Stealing Harper By Molly McAdams
This is Chase's POV from Taking Chances.
Chase Grayson has never been interested in having a relationship that lasts longer than it takes for him and his date to get dressed again. But then he stumbles into a gray-eyed girl whose innocence pours off her, and everything changes. From the minute Harper opens her mouth to let him know just how much he disgusts her, he's hooked.
But a princess deserves a Prince Charming who can make her dreams come true. Not a guy who can turn her life into a nightmare.
All good intentions go out the window when Harper starts to fall for the guy Chase has come to view as a brother. He wanted to protect her by keeping her away, but he can't stand to see her with anyone else, and he'll do anything to make her his. But when it comes down to Harper choosing between the two, will Chase have the strength to step back from the girl who has become his whole world if it means she's happy?
Lines will be crossed. Friendships will be put to the test. And hearts will be shattered.
CAUTION: DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT READ TAKING CHANCES

CAUTION: DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT READ TAKING CHANCES
If you read my review of Taking
Chances or hell even if you had any contact with me for about a week after
reading it you know, you know how much that book DESTROYED me. I cried for days, I cried while writing my
review, I cried so much my eyes stayed red.
I cursed my book bestie Gabrielle for having me read the book while at
the same time loving her for bullying me into reading it. I
wanted to send Molly McAdams a bill for therapy and tissues. I wanted to have Chase for myself.
So I am sure you are all asking yourselves why in the hell
did you read Stealing Harper Janna
when you knew what would happen and how upset you were before. I will tell you why. I needed Chase’s POV, I needed to see inside
his mind and heart to see if all the love I had for him in Taking Chances would be the same in Stealing Harper. I can safely say that no my love for Chase isn’t
the same, it is more intense. I love him
even more after reading his POV.
Chase knew he had screwed up when he pushed Harper into
Brandon’s life, but he never expected for it to destroy him as much as it did
just seeing her with his best friend. He
fought the attraction, he tried to just be friends, but when you are so deeply
in love with someone staying away isn’t always easy. He broke my heart more than once because he
just wanted Harper to take a chance on him so he could prove that she was his
one and only once and for all. When we
read the events leading up to the end of the book, you feel the anxiety forming
because you know what is about to happen and you can’t stop it no matter how
hard you wish the words you are about to read weren’t true. Awe hell I have tears in my eyes again just
thinking about it.
Now I am taking a text that I had with my book bestie and this
should kind of hint at what I feel for Harper, I wasn’t a huge fan of her in Taking Chances but in Stealing Harper she made me hate her for
how much pain she put Chase through.
Okay so here is what I said “I want to do a combo vag kick throat punch
bitch slap to Harper”. Yep that
basically sums up how I feel.
I have cried before with books, I am an emotional person so
I feel harder than some people might. Taking Chances and Stealing Harper are books I will never forget. They will hold a special place in my heart
because they made me feel so many emotions so deeply that they imprinted into
my heart and soul. I am looking forward
to reading Trusting Liam because I
just know that it will be just as amazing as the first two books. Molly McAdams you have shredded my heart,
caused me to go through boxes, yes boxes of tissues, and you have a way to make
something that is so painful still be beautiful and moving to your readers.

Review: Taking Chances By Molly McAdams
Her first year away is turning out to be nearly perfect, but one weekend of giving in to heated passion will change everything.
Eighteen-year-old Harper has grown up under the thumb of her career marine father. Ready to live life her own way and to experience things she's only ever heard of from the jarheads in her father's unit, she's on her way to college at San Diego State University.
Thanks to her new roommate, Harper is introduced to a world of parties, gorgeous guys, family, and emotions. She finds herself being torn in two as she quickly falls in love with both her new boyfriend, Brandon, and her roommate's brother, Chase. Despite their dangerous looks and histories, both men adore Harper and would do anything for her, including taking a step back if it would mean she'd be happy.

Normally I wait until after the tears have stopped flowing
before I write a review, it kind of helps with the whole seeing the screen
thing but I am almost compelled to do this right now. I just previously read another of Molly
McAdams’ series when my self-proclaimed book bestie Gabrielle (although she
really is) almost bullied me into reading Taking
Chances saying that this will shred me but I have to read it. So I gave in pretty quickly and said okay let’s
see what all the fuss is about. I wish I
could share my text messages that I sent her during my reading of Taking Chances, but I will spare you my
sometime curse word creative bitching while at the same time couldn’t put it
down messages about my feelings while reading.
We have Harper, Chase and Brandon in a love triangle that
has your emotions on high alert from almost the start. Chase is this asshole who can get under Harper’s
skin like no other but she is falling in love with the bad boy while she is in
a relationship with Brandon, the good guy who even though I tried to hate him
because I was team Chase from the get go I just couldn’t. (Bite me Gabrielle I know when you read this
you will say some smart ass comment.) We
watch both relationships begin and end because of feelings that can’t be denied
aren’t and hearts are broken. I am
warning you right here and now you will need boxes (yes boxes damn it) of
tissues because something happens that not only makes you violently throw your
kindle one minute but has you so broken down the next that you have to re-read
what you just read to make sure it actually says what it does. Hell here come the tears again just thinking about
it.
Now, am I conflicted about events that happen later in the
book? Yes I am. Did it make me hate the book? No it didn’t and do you know why? Because it still made me feel all those heart
wrenching feelings I had felt from the start, but just for another reason this
time. I want to read Stealing Harper right now to get Chase’s
POV but I am waiting because I am so emotionally distraught and drained from Taking Chances that I need to go into it
with fresh emotions.
I want to say thank you Gabrielle for making me read this
book and I still love you despite what I said to you in my texts when my
emotions were so high from what I was reading.
I also want to say that Molly McAdams, damn women you know how to
totally destroy your readers and have the talented ability to make us feel so
many different emotions that we just don’t know how to turn off those emotions
when we are finished with the book.

Blog Tour: Everything Changes By Molly McAdams
Eli Jenkins has the life: his dream job, countless beautiful women, and a best friend who's the one he counts on for everything else. One conversation, however, threatens to not only change everything between them, but possibly cause Eli to lose the only girl who has ever meant anything to him.
When a family tragedy forces Eli to take a hard look at his life, he realizes life without Paisley isn't a life at all. Only now, he may be too late.
We first met Eli in Forgiving
Lies and Deceiving Lies as the
brother to Rachel’s best friend (and well we all know how I feel about the best
friend by now). So I was excited when I
started Changing Everything because I
was like yes I loved the first two so much that I just know I will love this
one as well, but I didn’t. Don’t get me
wrong, I liked it a lot but it fell short of me loving it.
Eli uses his best friend Paisley as a shield to his ex hook
ups more often than not, but he doesn’t realise is that Paisley has been in
love with him for so long that every touch or pretend caress hurts her and
shatters her heart a little more. When
Paisley finally opens up and tells Eli how she feels he freaks out thinking
that he is losing his best friend and basically does a total asshat move and
pushes her away. Now here is why I bumped it down from loving it to liking it. Paisley doesn’t fight for him, she allows him
to just walk away instead of making him open up his eyes to what they could
have. It takes someone else and events
that happen during the first two books for Eli to pull his head out of his ass
to open his eyes. Which okay is usually
what happens in most ex man whore storylines so why did this one just make me
mad when others didn’t? It’s Paisley, I
just couldn’t like her and I swear I tried I really did. I didn’t connect with her and I think for me
that is what made me fall just short of loving it.
I am very happy though that I signed up for this blog tour
because I finally read an author who I have been wanting to read for a very
long time and reading and reviewing Changing
Everything kicked me in my ass to read the first book in the series that I
just needed that nudge to finally read.
Oh the joys of watching the man you love get ready to take another woman home … especially when she’s one bad dye job away from being an Oompa-Loompa. Here’s a little snippet from CHANGING EVERYTHING for y’all! Enjoy!
“Pay!” “Oh no,” I breathed, and looked at Kristen to act like I hadn’t heard Eli. “If he makes me play pool with him while he makes out with another girl again, I will lose it!” “He’s smiling, at least he didn’t see you moping—and he’s walking over here. With her. Right now. He’s—” “Pay, we’re gonna head out, were you ready to leave?” I turned to look at them with a smile plastered on my face, but it was entirely possible I looked like I was grimacing. “Well … ” I began, but the girl in Eli’s arms held up her hand. She made a sickened face as her head jerked up to look at Eli, then back at me. Long seconds passed as she looked me up and down with her lips parted in disgust. “Um … ew! I’m, like, not really into that whole threesome thing. So gross. Yano?” I wanted to remind her that “you” and “know” were two separate words … but with the way she looked, I was surprised she knew that Eli plus her plus me equaled three and not the color burrito, so I kept that to myself. Eli’s face pinched together like he’d eaten something sour, and before he said something that would inevitably crush me even more tonight, I tried to speak his latest pick’s language. “Ohmigod, like, ew, right?” Kristen’s hand flew to her mouth as beer sprayed out, and Eli’s lack-of-amused expression let me know that he knew what I was doing. At least I didn’t feel like I was going to throw up anymore. “Threesomes are so way gross,” I continued, not like I’d know. But the girl nodded her head and pursed her lips. “So, like, is she gonna watch?” she asked, and it took everything in me not to shoot Eli a look that said: Really? This is what you want?- Molly McAdams, Changing Everything

Review: Deceiving Lies By Molly McAdams
The irresistible, blazing-hot sequel to New York Times bestselling author Molly McAdams's Forgiving Lies.
Rachel is supposed to be planning her wedding to Kash, the love of her life. After the crazy year they've had, she's ready to settle down and live a completely normal life. Well, as normal as it can be. But there's something else waiting—something threatening to tear them apart.
Kash is ready for it all with Rach. Especially if all includes having a football team of babies with his future wife. With his line of work, he knows how short life can be, and doesn't want to waste another minute of theirs. But now his past as an undercover narcotics agent has come back to haunt him ... and it's the girl he loves who's caught in the middle.
Trent Cruz's orders are clear: take the girl. But there's something about this girl that has him changing the rules and playing a dangerous game to keep her safe. When his time as Rachel's protector runs out, he will turn his back on the only life he's known, and risk everything, if it means getting her out alive.

Deceiving Lies
picks up where we are left hanging at the end of Forgiving Lies. I may not
have mentioned the cliff hanger in my other review and I didn’t because while I
know I at times am vocal about hating cliffhangers so much but that’s because we
have to wait for the next book, well Deceiving
Lies is available so we will call it one of those forgivable lies I was
talking about.
Kash’s past has caught up with him and Rachel is the one who
is paying for it. Not knowing what is
going on or why she was targeted makes it so much harder on her. Even though she is not alone, has someone to
watch out for her, she knows that things may never again be the same. I was honestly surprised at how well she
handled herself during this time, I would have been a million times worse but
it shows growth on her part and that made me love her character even more. Were there times that I rolled my eyes at
her, yes there was but let’s be honest when don’t we as readers have our own
opinions on the characters and how we would do something different.
Kash had me very very disappointed in him at a couple of
points. He couldn’t open his eyes and
see what his actions or inactions were doing to Rachel and I didn’t think he
would ever realize just how much Rachel does love him. I wanted to smack him upside the back of the
head and scream don’t be an idiot!
One thing I hated is that the best friend is back in the
picture, but luckily for me at least she isn’t in it like the first book. I am sorry Ms. McAdams but I just can’t stand
her, never will. She needs to fall from
the top of a cheer pyramid…
Anyways I am moving on.
I think for me Deceiving Lies
was overall more emotional than Forgiving
Lies was. I will also admit that I
loved it more than Forgiving Lies. I know that Kash and Rachel’s story is
wrapped up here but I do hope that we see more of them in the future in other
books.
Review: Forgiving Lies By Molly McAdams
A matter of secrets...
Undercover cop Logan "Kash" Ryan can't afford a distraction like his new neighbor Rachel Masters, even if she's the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. To catch a serial killer, he needs to stay focused, yet all he can think about is the feisty, long-legged coed whose guarded nature intrigues him
A matter of lies...
Deceived and hurt before, Rachel would rather be a single, crazy cat lady than trust another guy, especially a gorgeous, tattooed bad boy with a Harley, like Kash. But when his liquid-steel eyes meet hers, it takes all of Rachel's will-power to stop herself from exploring his hot body with her own.
A matter of love...
As much as they try to keep it platonic, the friction between them sparks an irresistible heat that soon consumes them. Can Kash keep Rachel's heart and her life safe even as he risks his own? Will she be able to forgive his lies ... or will she run when she discovers the dangerous truth?

I am going to be straight up truthful and say prior to
reading Forgiving Lies I had never
read anything by Molly McAdams. I have
had her books on my kindle for a while now but always kind of kept pushing them
off to read something else. When I
signed up to review Changing Everything
( my review will post tomorrow so make sure you check back for it) I knew I had to take the time and do what I
always try to do when reading a book that is a part of a series, that being
reading the previous books. So I picked
up my kindle and scrolled until I found Forgiving
Lies and began to read. And I read and read and read until I finished it
and I asked myself why did I wait so long to read this. Now before I continue, I have heard other
people say that this series is a little different than Ms. McAdams’ other
books (which I will be reading as soon as I can) so if for some reason this one
doesn’t work for you, check out her other books and give it another shot. Okay now on to my review.
I loved the banter and back and forth bickering between Kash
and Rachel. I think I laughed out loud
so many times that people around me thought maybe I was a little crazy. Kash knew that he needed to keep his focus on
the job at hand but Rachel not just knocks him on his ass, nope she runs his
ass down like a mac truck and he doesn’t see it coming until bam! Now he did wrong I won’t disagree with that
but I understand why and for me it is a forgiving lie.
Rachel had been going through hell and she didn’t need Kash
to add to it. I felt so bad for her, I
just wanted to say why, why, why would you put up with this shit. I think that was my only issue with Rachel,
she allowed herself to be used as a doormat at times. I loved how her true personality would come
to the forefront when she would bicker with Kash.
Now I am going to digress very quickly and mention my feelings
on the best friend. Bitch needed a baseball
bat to the back of the head, a punch to the throat and a kick to the vagina for
ever, ever accusing Rachel of not telling the truth and treating her the way
she did. If I had been Rachel bitch
would have no longer been my best friend and I sure as hell wouldn’t have
forgiven her. Seriously can you feel my
rage for this twat?
Okay now that I let that out of my system I can move
on. I really enjoyed Forgiving Lies from beginning to end
even with my little rant in the paragraph above. It opened my eyes and had me ask myself what
lies would I be able to forgive and what ones would be unforgivable. You may think you know the answer to that but
do you really? And in case you are
wondering why I keep calling them forgivable lies, read the book, you will get
your explanation. Molly McAdams, you
have opened my eyes, not just to your writing but to the understanding that
sometimes not all lies are bad.

Release Blitz and Giveaway: Letting Go by Molly McAdams
The New York Times and USA Today bestselling
New Adult author returns with a sizzling novel of love, loss, guilt, and
forgiveness.
Grey and Ben fell in love
at thirteen and believed they’d be together forever. But three days before
their wedding, the twenty-year-old groom-to-be suddenly died from an unknown
heart condition, destroying his would-be-bride’s world. If it hadn’t been for
their best friend, Jagger, Grey never would have made it through those last two
years to graduation. He’s the only one who understands her pain, the only one
who knows what it’s like to force yourself to keep moving when your dreams are
shattered. Jagger swears he’ll always be there for her, but no one has ever
been able to hold on to him. He’s not the kind of guy to settle down.
It’s true that no one has
ever been able to keep Jagger—because he’s only ever belonged to Grey. While
everyone else worries over Grey’s fragility, he’s the only one who sees her
strength. Yet as much as he wants Grey, he knows her heart will always be with
Ben. Still they can’t deny the heat that is growing between them—a passion that
soon becomes too hot to handle. But admitting their feelings for each other
means they’ve got to face the past. Is being together what Ben would have
wanted . . . or a betrayal of his memory that will eventually destroy them
both?
Excerpt
Prologue
Grey May 10, 2012
“Then over there is where the girls and I will
be waiting before the ceremony starts,” I said, pointing to the all-seasons
tent just off to the side. “I think the coordinator said she’d get us in there
when the photographer is taking pictures of Ben and the boys on the other side
house, so he won’t see me.”
I glanced to my mom and soon-to-be
mother-in-law talking about the gazebo behind me, and what it would look like
with the greenery and flowers, and I smiled to myself. They’d been going back
and forth on whether we should keep the gazebo as it was or decorate it ever
since Ben and I had decided on The Lake House as our wedding and reception
site. And from the few words I was hearing now, they were still undecided. I
honestly didn’t care how it was decorated. I wanted to be married to Ben, and
in three days, I would be.
“Grey, this place is freaking gorgeous.
I can’t believe you were able to get it on such short notice,” my maid-of-honor
and best friend, Janie, said in awe.
“I know, but it’s perfect, right?”
“Absolutely perfect.”
I grabbed her hand and rested my head on her
shoulder as I stared at the part of the property where the reception would be.
Ben and I had promised our families that we wouldn’t get married until we’d graduated
from college, but that had been a much harder promise to keep than we’d thought
it would be. School let out for summer a few days ago, and we wanted to move
off campus for our junior year … together. That hadn’t exactly gone over well
with my parents. They didn’t want us living together until we were married. I
think in my dad’s mind it helped him continue to believe I was his innocent
little girl.
I’d been dating Ben since I was thirteen years
old; the innocent part flew out the window over three years ago. Not that he
needed to know that. After a long talk with both our parents, they agreed to
let us get married now instead of two years from now.
That was seven weeks ago. Even though Ben had
asked me to marry him last Christmas, we’d officially gotten engaged once we’d
received the okay from our parents, and had started planning our wedding
immediately. Seven weeks of being engaged. Seven years of being together. And
in three days I would finally be Mrs. Benjamin Craft.
With how the last few weeks had dragged by, it
felt like our day would never get here.
My phone rang and I pulled it out of my
pocket. My lips tilted up when I saw Jagger’s name and face on the screen, but
I ignored the call. Putting my phone back in my pocket, I kept my other hand firmly
wrapped around Janie’s and walked over to where the rest of the bridesmaids
were. My aunts and grandma had gathered around the gazebo-debating duo, and
were helping them with the pros and cons.
“So what are we going to do tonight?” I asked,
hoping to get some kind of information about the bachelorette party.
“Nice try.” Janie snorted. She started saying
something else, but my phone rang again.
Glancing down and seeing Jagger again, I
thought about answering it for a few seconds before huffing out a soft laugh
and ignoring the call a second time. I knew why he was calling. He was bored
out of his mind and wanted me to save him from the golf day Ben and all the
guys were having before the bachelor party. Normally I would have saved him
from the torture of golfing, but today was about Ben. If he wanted to go
golfing with all his guys, then Jagger just had to suck it up for his best
friend.
Almost immediately after ignoring the call, I
got a text from him.
Jagger: Answer the goddamn phone Grey!
My head jerked back when the phone in my hand
began ringing just as soon as I’d read the message, and all I could do was
stare at it for a few seconds. A feeling of dread and unease formed in my
chest, quickly unfurling and spreading through my arms and stomach.
Some part of my mind registered two other
ringtones, but I couldn’t focus on them, or make myself look away from Jagger’s
lopsided smile on my screen. With a shaky finger, I pressed on the green
button, and brought the phone up to my ear.
Before I could say anything, his panicked
voice filled the phone.
“Grey? Grey! Are you there? Fuck, Grey, say
something so I know you’re there!”
There was a siren and yelling in the
background, and the feeling that had spread through my body now felt like it
was choking me. I didn’t know what was happening, but somehow … somehow I knew
my entire world was about to change. My legs started shaking and my breaths
came out in hard rushes.
“I—what’s happ—” I cut off quickly and turned
to look at my mom and Ben’s. Both had phones to their ears. Ben’s mom was
screaming with tears falling down her cheeks; my mom looked like the ground had
just been ripped out from underneath her.
Jagger was talking, I knew his voice was loud
and frantic, but I was having trouble focusing on the words. It sounded like he
was yelling at me from miles away.
“What?” I whispered.
Everyone around me was freaking out, trying to
figure out what was going on. One of my friends was asking who I was talking
to, but I couldn’t even turn to look at her, or be sure who it was that had
asked. I couldn’t take my eyes off the only other women currently talking on a
phone.
“Grey! Tell me where you are, I’m coming to
get you!”
I blinked a few times and looked down at my
lap. I was sitting on the ground. When had I sat down?
Janie squatted in front of me and grabbed my
shoulders to shake me before grabbing my cheeks so I would look at her instead
of where my mom and Ben’s were clinging to each other.
“What?” I repeated, my voice barely audible.
Just before Janie took the phone from me, I
heard a noise that sounded weighted and pained. A choking sound I’d never heard
from Jagger in the eleven years we’d been friends. The grief in it was enough
to force a sharp cry from my own chest, and I didn’t even struggle against
Janie when she took the phone from me.
I didn’t understand anything that was
happening around me, but somehow I knew everything. A part of me had heard
Jagger’s words. A part of me understood what the horrified cries meant that
quickly spread throughout every one of my friends. My family. Ben’s family. A
part of me acknowledged the sense of loss that had added to the dread, unease,
and grief—and knew why it was there.
A part of me knew the wedding I’d just been
envisioning would never happen.

daughter. Her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling and long walks on
the beach, which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and
dishing out movie quotes. When she's not at work, she can be found hiding out
in her bedroom surrounded by her laptop, cell, Kindle and fighting over the TV
remote. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies, fried pickles and loves
curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm...or under one in a
bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren't really
happening.
