Ever wonder what goes into writing a story? The plotting and research that an author does? Where the inspiration came from for a particular character? There are many hidden secrets or information that we wouldn't know about the book or writing process. A lot more goes into the writing than we think! Here are some interesting facts you may not know about DARE ME FOREVER

I always like to think about the meaning of taking chances in life.  There are always safer choices, but they are not often the right ones. Amy Miller, my protagonist, really takes a chance with her heart.  She trusts herself, and goes for it...and is duly rewarded in every way imaginable.

I've always had a thing for foreign men and actually married one!  But there is definitely something about growing up in different cultures, not knowing exactly where someone came from, that is both exciting and nerve inducing, especially in the beginning of the relationship.  I wanted Amy to struggle with those feelings, especially since her old familiar ex is after her too!

I had never written sex scenes before, and I found that incredibly fun.  Thinking about times and situations that have turned me on, going through that mental rolodex of who did what when, the whole thing really got me going.  And as I've been pregnant and super uncomfortable, it was a good way to get out sexual energy but not have to move!

I learned a ton about writing from doing this book. Just committing the time and energy was incredibly rewarding. And I hope to get better and better. Learning how to make scenes work better, how to get information across without overloading the reader, and much more..I hope to take those lessons, and apply them to my next book...I'm working on a sequel about Ryan, Amy and of course Hunter, and a hot novella starring Cat and Jackson.
