Ginger Peet has been taking care of her younger sister, Wila, and they need a fresh start away from their mother and the life she lives. Derek Tyler is a hot and sexy problem that Ginger just doesn’t need. Derek knows something is up with his sexy new neighbor and her younger sister and he plans to find out what. He wants Ginger in his life and wants more than just one night. He needs to get her to trust him so that he can protect her and Wila from what ever it is they are running from.
Derek was H.O.T. hot and he knew it too. He had his sights set on Ginger and was going to have her. I love alpha males like that! It’s just plain old sexy to me that when a hot guy knows what he wants and sets out to get it. Ginger was a spit fire but just wanted to protect her younger sister from the life their mother lived. She gave up on her own personal life to protect Wila. Wila, well what can I say about her besides she is a gothic dressing smart ass who I absolutely loved! She was the perfect balance to Ginger’s personality and when she finally lets herself open up, I was cheering her on.
I loved this book! It is funny and sexy and a great start to a new series in my opinion. Tessa Bailey has started a new must read series! I will be looking forward to more books in this series in the future.
