Jace Montgomery was a male cheerleader for the University of
Texas and has opened up the largest cheerleading gym in the world. One hot encounter in the locker room changed
him, he finally thought he would have his happiness only to be broken hearted
when the one person who he thought loved him turned his back on him. He escapes to the one place he found
happiness all those years ago, but what will happen when the person who still
holds his heart shows up at the door?
Colt knew that if it came out that he was gay it could ruin
his football career. He wasn’t ready to
be open about his sexuality because at that time it wasn’t as open and accepted
as it is now. He was the happiest when
he was with Jace, and what happened to make him walk away absolutely broke my
heart. He lost not only the one person he
loved but a piece if his soul as well.
He begins a downward spiral that almost costs him his career in the
NFL. I loved it when Colt finally
decided to follow his heart, give a big fuck you to those who thought they
controlled him and went after Jace to make things right. I wish I could have kicked the shit out of
everyone who kept him from Jace myself cause they deserved that and so much
more.
Jace wasn’t ever ashamed of who he was. He was open about his sexuality from the
start. He couldn’t believe that Colt
actually wanted him. He thought he might
be having a prank pulled on him. The
connection they share is more intense than he ever imagined. When Colt pushed him away, he didn’t
understand what had caused the sudden change and it broke his heart. When Jace goes back to the place that held the
happiest times with Colt I hoped that he could heal from the pain from the past. He knows that he needs to protect his heart
again from Colt, and when he learns of the circumstances behind Colt’s retreat
last time it still is hard on him to know that Colt is not going to take off
again. He couldn’t survive it.
Holy freaking shit!
This book has some very hot scenes between Colton and Jace. From their first encounter up until the last
they burnt up my kindle. This book is
more than a M/M book about a relationship between a football player and a
cheerleader. It is a book that doesn’t
hide the trials that happen in relationships, especially in ones where other
people bash or just do not understand that when two people love each other it
does not matter what their sexual preference is. I have always been a fan of M/M romance and
Kindle Alexander has enhanced my love for this genre with Double Full. This is the first book of the Nice Guys Novel series and
I am anxiously awaiting the next book to come out.
