The only person
poetry-loving Cali Monroe hates more than herself is Logan Waters, the geeky
kid who lives in the dorm building next to hers.
Ever since Cali's parents told her she would amount to nothing, she has felt entirely inadequate. Friendless and alone, she takes on the mean girl role in hopes it will make her feel better--and Logan serves as the perfect target. He infuriates her with his obnoxiously long lashes, his all too perfect dimpled smile, and his complete lack of personality outside of his intelligence. It doesn't hurt that he's part of the reason her brother is dead, either. So Cali hates him, and he returns the favor. Thus, their prank-filled, insult-driven rivalry is born, and torturing Logan quickly becomes the highlight of her life.
But when Cali's parents set them up on a blind date, she begins to realize Logan might not be as boring as she always thought. He shares her love of poetry, takes a sadistic pleasure in making fun of crepes, and he makes her blush when he calls her smile pretty.
And hey, maybe those long lashes of his aren't that obnoxious after all…
Two Roads is New Adult Romance about finding love, standing out, and learning to embrace who you are. It contains some language and mild sexual content.

Cali can not help but prank Logan, it’s just so much fun and
it’s the perfect way to make his life as miserable as hers because after all
her brother is dead and she feels he is a major part of why. Cali acts likes this cold hearted stuck up
bitch with her “friends” but they have never seen the real Cali, it’s all an
act. Only her roommate knows who she is
and she is as evil as Cali sometimes, especially when she helps Logan prank
Cali. Logan used to know Cali but come
on he is just so damn annoying there is nothing else there besides hate
right? Cali’s parents refuse to
understand her love for poetry and every chance they can they make her feel
unwanted because she won’t change her major just to make them happy.
Logan, is a math geek with the shirts to make him even more
a of a geek. He is pretty creative in
his revenge pranks against Cali cause lets face it he hates the bitch just as
much as she hates him right, or does he?
There is more to Logan that what you see. Logan’s love of poetry is something that
attracts Cali to him and is a connection that they didn’t know they
shared. Logan reminds me a lot of Matt
from Flat Out Love by Jessica Park, in the sense he is geeky, a math wiz and
has those god awful geeky t-shirts that we just love to hate, but he is so very
different at the same time as well. Logan
has secrets and when Cali finds them out will it bring them closer together or
will it tear down the building relationship they have.
I loved this book!
Seriously it reminded me of Flat Out Love (as mentioned above) and the
Neighbor From Hell series by R.L. Mathewson with all the pranking going on and
both of those series are some of my favorites.
Let me state this though, it is it's own book and it is a great one. I laughed so hard at times that I couldn’t breathe and at others my
heart was hurting for both Cali and Logan because you just knew that the
connection they had was already strong and it was going to be so much
stronger. Two Roads shows you that while
at times you feel your life is traveling down one road that at any moment it
can change, and for the better especially if the other road leads you to your
soul mate and love.
