Oh my love/hate relationship with a manwhore was put to the test with this read. Seriously.
Do we have angst? Ya betcha.
Do we get drama? Most definitely.
Do we have sexual tension? Ummm...yeah.
Do we get times where you just want to slap the characters? Fo sho!
Emma
and Scott. Oh how I've never read a more immature couple than these two. They have this initial chemistry connection with the first eye contact. Emma
has been warned to stay away from Scott cause of his manwhore ways. He's your typical bad boy rockstar manwhore who does what he wants when
he wants. Emma has men issues that stem from her father when she caught
him a compromising position.
Emma feels
something for Scott but she doesn't act on it and vice versa. They agree
to just be friends. There's a lot, a lot of going back and forth with their emotions. Did
she string him along? I'd say no. She told him up front on her feelings and he doesn't like this and he shows her by hooking up with girls. Emma gets
her feelings hurt but she shouldn't...ya know? He tells her he's no good
but I don't see where he sees that besides his womanizing ways.
They're both idiots to put it bluntly.
Oh what chapped my hide is when
he purposely hurts Emma. Example...when he's dancing with a girl and he
starts playing with her while looking at Emma the whole time. I be
cutting the arsehole! She hates him. She loves him. Emma just needed to
make up her mind. When they FINALLY got their emotions synced it was
beautiful. I'll be looking forward to book two to see how and where
their relationship is going.
If you enjoyed Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens, then you'll enjoy this as well. Same concept but with different scenarios.

I wouldn't compare this to Thoughtless AT ALL. But, you know how hard core I am about SC. ;) I liked this book, but didn't love it.
Thanks for the honest review...I know better what I'll be getting into with this one. :)
Sounds like an interesting read.
