We LOVE books. We're crazy for books and boys. So we decided Valentine's week was a great time to share some of our favorite guys and asked their authors to join in the fun. Each of the paricipating authors has interviewed their guy and a few of them wrote limericks too! Some are very, very good and some are deliciously wicked. The boys are from a variety of fiction genres, Romance, Contemporary Romance, Paranormal Romance, Erotic Romance, Urban Fantasy, Sci-fi, Steampunk and New Adult but they all have guys we heart.

1. Name and which book you’re from. Are you good or bad?

I’m Jake from the story Accidental Romance. Am I good or bad, well, that depends on when you catch Leanne. I like to think I’m a good guy though.

2. It’s Valentine’s Day. What kind of night do you have planned for your lady friend?

Well, after finishing chores in the barn, I’m going to change my clothes and join Leanne and her family for dinner. I’ll bring her some red roses, and then we’ll go for a drive in my truck. 

3.  If you could wield cupids bow and arrow, who would you shoot and why?

I’d shoot the youngest of my four older sisters. She’s been pinning over the same guy for months. He could use an arrow to the heart, or a kick in the ass.

4. Whisper sweet nothings in my ear telling me what you will do to me on Valentine's.

I’m sorry Miss, but I’m already committed to one woman.

5. While us ladies love to be wined, dined, and *clears throat* loved on Valentine's... What is it you men want most on Valentine's?

I will never turn down a little lovin’.

Roses are red, violets are blue. The sun has set, and I want to make sweet love to you.

7. What do you look for in a woman?

Someone who is hard-working like me, and not afraid to get a little… *ahem* dirty.

Jake's Limerick to Leanna...

I have always loved a woman named Leanne
My heart flutters with just one glance

I dream back to our first kiss
where her answer made my soul finally complete with bliss.
and her eyes were shinning bright,

The ring I bought for her was a perfect fit,

With an alluring set of diamonds
I always wanted her I knew,
and there was only one thing left to do.
She ignored me for so long,
I felt I was in a Backstreet Boys song

But now we are together, and
She will always be my woman.

Excerpt:

“What do you have planned for tonight anyway?” He sauntered toward her, gripping the other apple so hard, she expected pulp to squeeze between his fingers. “Going out with your boyfriend?” 

She cringed, hating how he mocked her with the word. “Jealous, much?” 

Taking a step back, he scowled. “You wish. Why should I care who you date? You’re a grown woman.” 

“I’m glad you noticed.” She reached down for a piece of straw and poked him in the chest with it. “So, why is it such a problem?” 

He shrugged his shoulders, his expression suddenly indifferent. “I think you can do better.”

She poked him again. “What, like you?” 

He leaned closer, his face only an inch from hers. His musky scent overpowered the sweet stench of the barn and filled her senses. If he hadn’t been a constant pain in her ass, she might have thought he was going to kiss her.
