Unravel Me is a beautiful story of trust and love. Kendall Ryan did a great job spinning this tale and it sucked me right in. I consumed it all in one sitting.
Ashlyn Drake a Ph.D. student studying behavioral psychology is working on her Amnesia thesis when a wonderful opportunity is presented to her; a chance to interview a live subject. The only hitch is he’s suspected of murder. No I.D. on him. No name. He has no recollection beyond waking up in the hospital. The psychologist in charge of him tries to dissuade her; stating that he’s violent and dangerous. That only seems to fuel Ashlyn on.
From the moment Ashlyn meets “Logan” she is inexplicably drawn to him. She knows it’s wrong. She’s stepping over the line and risking her work. But she can’t stay away. Ashlyn visits him daily; more than what is required for her research.
Not enough evidence to hold him, Logan is cleared of the murder charges and discharged from the hospital. No memory, no money, no home. He’s given the number to a local shelter and is set out on the street on the one and only day Ashlyn didn’t go see him. By some miracle she encounters him and takes him home.
I loved this story. I thought it was beautiful to watch these two people come to trust and love each other. Logan is lost and frustrated. He’s haunted by nightmares; pieces of his memories. Ashlyn’s touch soothes him at night. It’s not long before intimacy develops. But how far can their relationship go? What happens when Logan regains his memory? Does he have a wife or a girlfriend to return to? What happens then?
her voice broke and she rushed to him, jumping into his arms, knocking them both to the floor with a thud. She plastered her body to his, attacking his mouth and face with kisses. He seemed stunned, but didn’t push her away.
It was sickening to watch, but like a bad car accident, I couldn’t look away.

Oh that sounds like a fantastic read. I haven't seen one with that set up before and am all curious how it turns out! Just added it to my shopping list :)
Thanks for the heads up!
