Being former Special Forces, I’m no stranger to fighting, but this is different. This is personal. The stakes feel much higher and the struggle to save her will be my most challenging mission yet.
But I have a secret. A secret that threatens to tear apart everything we’ve built. I just hope she can overlook them when all is revealed.
You know me as Alex Matthews.
My mistake was getting involved with her, knowing what was on the line.
Their mistake was taking me away from her.
If you have not read Hidden
In Lies stop right now, go read and devour it like I did and then, you
shall be allowed to read by review of Uncovered
By Truth. Did you already read
Hidden In Lies and are wondering what was going to happen next and needed more
of Alex and Elizabeth like right then and there? If so then you may proceed to my review. Yeah I know I am being bossy and kind of
smart assed at the moment but sometimes I need y’all to pay attention when I
say you must read book one first.
I could go on and on and on about how we mainly get Uncovered By Truth in Alex’s POV (but it’s
not just in his but thank god we do so we get into his head), hell I could go
on and on about how much I loved Alex and the way I swooned over how he was
with Elizabeth, I can go on and on and on about how I was sucked in from the
first page until I read the last word on the last page. After the way Hidden in Lies ended I will admit I may have thrown a fit, cursed,
yelled and threw something besides my kindle at my husband when he had the
nerve to say to me “it’s just a book Janna so you need to act like this?” Yeah I may have made him sleep with one eye
open that night, poor guy lol. I loved
the drama, the suspense, the angst, the romance, the action. The only thing that I didn’t like was that I
wasn’t actually in the book because man Alex will have your panties melting
away.
Trust me this is one you will not want to miss out on. Make sure to read Hidden In Lies before Uncovered
By Truth because you will not want to miss one word of this series.
“Oh my God, Alex. They’re going to kill us, aren’t they?” Her lip quivers as she grabs onto my arm.
I grab both of her shoulders and stare into her eyes. “No, they’re not. We’re going to stay right here and we’ll be fine, okay?”
“But they’re going to come in after us. We need to leave.” Her voice rises with urgency and I know I need to calm her down before she does something stupid out of fear.
“Good. Let them come in after us. We know they’re out there. They’re not expecting us to be ready for them. We know the layout of this cabin. They don’t. We’re going to position ourselves in a way that makes it impossible for them to surprise us. In here, we have the advantage.”
