Freed.
Freed from the past and lies that were told.
Freed from perceptions one has for themselves.
Freed to love.
Freed to be loved.
Freed to be happy.
Freed to explore the meaning of forgiveness.
Denver is still working on the view of herself but this time
Ransom isn’t going to allow her to put herself down ever again. She is also working through the emotions and
the feelings of loss when it comes to Greer, what they had, what he did and
what could have been. Add to the mix the
sexy and dominant Ransom and Denver has to decide if she will allow herself to
be freed to love the one man she has known all her life, love the one man who
wants to help her find her true self or will she be freed to walk away from it
all?
Ransom wants Denver for his own, he sees her true worth and
wants to show her not only what she means to him but what she should mean to
herself. He wants Denver to be his and
he wants to be hers. You see Ransom in a
new light when you really get to see who he is.
Greer, he knows he betrayed Denver, he knows how much he
hurt her. He also knows that he has to
work on himself as well as earn back Denver’s trust and friendship.
Freed picks up
where Used left us hanging. Now if you
all read my review for Used you know how bad I could not wait for Freed to hurry
up and get here. So the big question is,
was it worth the wait…hell yes it was. I
loved it! Watching not only Denver free
herself from her past but to watch the relationship between her and Ransom get
hotter and hotter to the point that I almost exploded from the sexual tension
was well worth the wait. Good lord that
boy is sexy as sin and he knows how to make you on edge with anticipation. I at one point was like holy shit I did not
see that one coming at all but thinking back it so makes sense. What?
You want to know what I am talking about don’t you? Well…I am not going to tell you just have to
read Freed and find out for yourself, did you honestly believe I would give it
away like that? But seriously though, I
love how Greer isn’t just made out to be this huge asshole who deserves his ass
beat over and over again, that he too deserves to be free from the sins of the
past if forgiveness by Denver can be granted.
Lynetta Halat quickly has become one of my go to authors, I
know when I get my hands on one of her books I am going to feel a variety of
emotions, curse her out numerous times while attempting to not throw my Kindle
and I will keep coming back because that’s the type of emotions that authors
should pull from their readers. And in
my opinion, Ms. Halat is becoming the mistress of rollercoaster ride of emotion
books and this reader can’t wait to ride the ride once more when book 3 in this
series comes out.

Since the dawn of time, Lynetta Halat
has lived to read and has written innumerable stories and plays. A lover of
good books, bad boys, and kickass tunes, she'd always dreamt of penning books
that people could connect with and remember. She also has a secret penchant for
wringing the emotions out of unsuspecting readers, and she collects reader's
tears in much the same way that wine connoisseurs collect their favorite
vintage.
Her first novel, Every Rose, was the perfect catalyst to launch her into the world of publishing, effectively burrowing her way into the hearts and minds of readers throughout the world. Everything I've Never Had was her follow-up adult romance novel. Now, she has penned Used, a New Adult Romance that she hopes sinks its teeth into you and doesn't let go.
Her love of the English language prompted her to pursue a Master's degree in English from Old Dominion University in Virginia, where she also minored in snark and interpretive dance. She lives somewhere along the Mississippi Gulf Coast with her adorable husband, two amazing sons, and two loveable dogs. When she's not writing riveting stories, she likes to focus on her macramé art and her scouring of eBay, where she buys locks of hair from her favorite rock stars, most especially Bret Michaels and Dave Grohl.
